• DMM does not see the DMP

  We run #5.2 side DMM and DMP. The DMM > digital media player > DMP Manager > status = X. The DMM does not see the DMP. By clicking on the discovery of the DPM and the State has not changed.

  The DPM is configured to accept the central maanagement, the DMM is configured with the IP and MAC address. It worked in the last days, and I don't remember any changes that might trigger this behavior.

  The last time that I could "communicate" DPM has been: I downloaded a presentation which included a URL that pointed to one of the video inside the DPM.

  The scanner on my Epson SX525WD won't work on my new Acer's Aspire5742.I print of the Acer using the cable network and printer. I know that the scanner is good because I can scan of my 'old' Dell laptop using the printer cable. When I try to open Epson Scan on the Acer, it tells me that the scanner has stopped working. I uninstalled and reinstalled, tried different USB ports, running in XP mode (my Acer is Windows 7), but it does not scan. Can you help me?

  You have installed the drivers scanner? The Epson SX525WD printer has separate drivers for the scanner, you can download them here and then install them:

  Check with HP Support, their drivers and documentation online and ask in their forums.

  My camera's SMU-6358, who has two lines APFI and supports analog trigger. Although it is very difficult to find information on the use of analog trigger for analog output of the tasks, what I've learned so far is to connect the interested analog trigger signal (such as an external noise) on both the AI channel which is used as a source of relaxation (ai0 in my case) and a two-channel (APFI0 in my case) APFI.

  During the test the example above vi, any level of relaxation that I put (even with 0), the task of output did not work at all. No error message is returned either. Just for your information, I do physical tests, not only the software simulation, so no signal means no signal.

  I have here is that the solutions to this issue, just want to say thank you to all who have helped me on this subject.

  Use the analog analog trigger output tasks, make sure that the trigger signal (input HERE) is connected to APFI0. There is no need to connect the trigger even signal to ai0 if you do not want to save the trigger signal. However, if you do not want to save the trigger signal, connect the trigger signal to both ai0 and APFI0 with a signal splitter. In the latter case, the task of the AI shouldn't take the same trigger that the task of the ao. This means that you can start your registration with or without a trigger, while leaving the task of ao wait a trigger of some signal. This is useful in a situation that you only want to generate ao task to a certain trigger event, as when a signal reaches a certain level of sound pressure.

  I've had my Hp envy m6 laptop about a year now and I cleaned it recently make run faster and fix a few other things. On the accident, I believe that I uninstalled the program, titled "Validity WBF DDK".  Immediately, I realized that my fingerprint reader is not working.  I went to the center of the HP utility and reinstalled the driver for the program, but it doesn't seem to work. I even deleted my fingerprints and their reanalysis.  This doesn't quite work.  Initially the light used to light up, but nothing appears even now.  The light does not illuminate, and when I try to log in, I get a recording that says: "year error occurred preventing the use of your information for fingerprint identification.

  It is not so important, but I'm sorry that I can't get this to work more.

• F4200 all-in-One scanner all of a sudden does not work

  I was very happy with my HP Deskjet F4200 all-in-One printer/scanner.

  Suddenly today the scanner refuses to contribute.

  I get a report:

  ERROR

  Cannot perform the analysis because another program has control of the HP imaging device.  Try the following steps.  After each step, try to scan the image.
  -Restart the program.
  -Close all programs that might be using the device.
  -Restart the computer.

  I don't have any other program open.  I closed the printer/scanner program, shut down the computer - but remains problaem.       What should I do now?

  Uninstall and reinstall?  Or something else?

• Group execute Trigger on 2 DMMs

  I'm trying to use software trigger to trigger two Agilent 34401 DMM "simultaneously".  I found this article from 2007:

  However, the answer is less useful, because it does not address the issue.

  What I'm trying to use is the function GPIB 488.2 Trigger List (such as recommended by NEITHER).  However, generating a list by program turns out a touch... interesting.

  Given that the selection of the device is made using aliases VISA, I am trying to use a property node to retrieve the GPIB address.  As a temporary trial, I use a VI with the attached excerpt included code.  With DMM configured in GPIB0::6:INSTR and GPIB0::22:INSTR (but try this at home with no real hardware attached), my probe shows all the values of property as 0.

  I tried the wrong approach?  Try this at the office with the DMM attached would produce a different result?  (I'll try again tomorrow anyway.)

  Try to work with the connected digital multimeters (and turned on), the primary address property returns exactly what I expect and the code snippet works - apparently - perfectly.

  I had been struggling with getting the DMM to trigger and retrieve the measurements of the DMM.  I tried to use the 'Trigger' function, but it doesn't seem to work without additional steps to ensure that the right listeners are selected - so the function "basic list".  I also had problems of data recovery - partially because he was (probably) not trigger, but especially because I wasn't not wait long enough so that all samples must be collected.

  For more information, this system has (by default, but configurable) 10 samples being played at intervals of 0.1 s, so you have to wait a second.  I could just have increased the timeout, but it's a bit messy.  Otherwise, I guess I could loop waiting for signals to be ready, but the driver for this DMM does not seem to include a query function.

  The screw with a symbol of the timer on them simply contain a call to Wait (ms).  It's cleaner (in my opinion) that put in a frame.  Now that I have the work function, I also replaced the frame function timestamp and relaxation with a sub - VI.

• HP Officejet 6500 a E710n-z: HP 6500 printer scanner prints but does not scan

  Since my OS has been upgraded to Windows 8.1 the printer scanner prints (very slowly) but does not scan!

  I tried HP Print and Scan doctor, he worked once (clumsily) but not since. I tried Windows ' whatener it is called "but nothing.  It was working perfectly since I the printer scanner.   Now I don't NOTHING DO let's me scan.  and the fix message tells me that my WPA security password is not quite valid (nothing has changed here!)

  I checked the internet, it seems that a lot of people have the same problem.  I don't know if anyone has fixed it.  The so-called solutions are not very easy to follow!  Just as they do not work.

  You can install the drivers by going to the Device Manager and using

• Connect the scanner via TimeCapsule

  I have a Canon LiDE 120 Cancan scanner.  I want to connect to my local network using port USB TimeMachine.  My laser printer works this way, but the utility OS 'Printers and Scanners' preferences won't find the scanner.

  Is it possible a scanner by the TC/airport network for all my computers can "see"?  If so would appreciate any advice on the installation program.

  Note: even if directly connected to a computer the button 'share (printer) on the network' disappears when a scanner is selected.
