  You have a true bootable XP installation CD (it is not the same as any recovery CD provided with your system)?

  Do you see that you think not you should see and when you see it?

  If the system works, what do you think might have changed since the last time it did not work properly?

  I have a 100 page document + which contains a small decorative roller on each page. If I had to place the image in a master page, the image will be explort in PDF format and print on paper as it should, however, I need to export the file to ePub as well.

  When I look at the ePub file in Dreamweaver, I see that there are 101 cases of the file... everyone has their own unique file name (example: scroll - 1.gif, scroll - 2.gif, scroll - 3.gif), but must only be one (such as scroll.gif).

  Is there a setting in InDesign that will allow me to export to ePub and re - use the same file rather than create duplicates of it for each instance on a page?

  Hello Stephen,

  If all your images are the same and you have no effect applied, you can uncheck the option "Preserve the aspect of page layout" epub export dialog box options while epxorting to EPUB. In this case, you should get a single image and not many copies.

  It seems that you have empty fields of Digital Signature in the form.  Acrobat Reader DC complete and sign will add a signature of annotation with a PDF file that has Acrobat form fields or fields of Digital Signature in it.  Test it by opening a PDF file that has no form fields or fields of Digital Signature in it and who is not protected by security permissions.

• Merge data, create duplicate lists

  I have a csv with about 580 records database. I created a template with the correct fields in inDesign, loaded the csv file using merge data, then created the merged document. I have 580 announcements of something like the image below. If there is a symbol wandering in the database to csv, the cause, it does not reflect an error in a preview. In fact, all 580 records can be previewed, copied and pasted into another document, and displayed without error. Any suggestions on how to solve this problem would be appreciated.

  

  Overview of data merge is known to be buggy and trigger all sorts of strange errors (even if it's not necessarily all problem here). The best advice is NEVER to use for several records/page mergers, or if you feel you must, CANCEL after use, then just merge and trust at your disposal.

  If you used an extract and then went from there to merge directly, and the merger is not successful, you must make a model like the one you use will not work correctly. You can copy/paste in place to create the model of the former route.

  RMAN from checking if the data target files share the same names that duplicate files are used

  but I use different directory

  / u01/data_new/clonetest of the duplicate database

  / u01/data/BINGO database target

  I think that, when you use no nofilenamecheck clause, RMAN assumes that there is a copy of the backup file also exist at the location of backup of the clone, and in this case there is no backup file it is therefore failed. If you could have copied the location of primary backup file to clone is then probably you could not get the error.

• How to create duplicates in place

  I have an image in grayscale with an octagon at the Center and a rectangle identical radiating out of each flat side of the Octagon.  Is there a simple way to do this in Illustrator CS4?  I did my Octagon.  Then added a rectangle position along one side.  I dragged the rotation point of the rectangle in the center of the Octagon, and I can now rotate this rectangle of 45 degrees each time to move my Octagon.  Don't know how to leave a copy of each rectangle in place, however.  Regular Paste gives just a new rectangle back to the Center.

  If you go through the "Rotate" dialog box and click the button 'Copy', then you repeat copy Rotation using the shortcut of command/CTRL + D.

• Download pictures from an SD card creates duplicate Images

  Hey all -

  When I download pictures from an SD card from my camera via my computer's card slot, Lightroom seems to want to download ALL images on my card, including those that are already on my hard drive same destination, even though I checked the "Do not import suspected duplicates" in the Section "Filehandling" from the 'Import' in Lightroom window. Who's here - by is create several images in duplicate with a - 2 at the end of the file name, as well as take considerably more time to load than expected for just the value of a few days of News pictures that I want to download in the process.

  I use the 'Rename of Images' function with the model 'Date - Filename', as well as the option "organize into subfolders: by Date ' Destination, with the format YYYY-MM-DD.

  I could of course delete all pictures on my camera memory cards to avoid images duplicate being around in the first place. But, for many good reasons, I like to keep some of my images on my camera, even if I already downloaded them on my computer before.

  My work around this problem so far has been to download them all, (again), then use the filter tool to list all images that have file names that end in-2, and then remove the disk, using the delete key. As a side note, I tried to set up a collection of smart to automatically set a filter like that for me, whiich he does very well, but unfortunately the images seen from within smart Collections are not removable.

  If there is in any case to prevent Lightroom u / ing these images duplicate in the first place, since the box checked stating "Do not import suspected duplicates" doesn't seem to work, I would be very happy to know how to do this.

  In the central panel of the screen, you must select New Photos. It is located between ALL and any DESTINATION PHOTOS, copy as DNG copy move add menu.

• Compac presario CQ5504F don't give me a place to create a restore point.

  It gives me no place to set a restore point. All the it geves is restore points generated by computer and no place to install my own. What I am doing wrong?

  In the search programs and files box, type system restore and wait a second. Above to select Create a restore point ant the next window appears.

  

  Make sure the Protection settings are on the disk for which you want to create a restore point. Select the drive and click on create. I don't use it because I keep images on my disks on a storage devive attached to the separate network.

  One of my systems uses the default batch process template and creates a new report for each object to be measured. I do not use the fly declaration and for the sake of argument that I use the standard XML generation with the horizontal.xsl stylesheet.

  Whenever I have test a TS batch creates one. XML report for each USE tested when execution is completed.

  I would then read the report using a LabVIEW VI step, edit and save this copy down to a secondary site. What is someone is able to recommend a reminder that I can use for this? I am struggling to find a reminder that runs after the initial report was recorded which still has access to the filepath for this socket.

  I've never used batch processing model, but I would take a look at the PostBatch callback, there is also a reminder of the BatchReport process template calls it then resets a variable called report. I guess it would be easy to use this variable to print your report in another place... (Locals.Report)., but I guess your best call might be to take a deep look at the process model of batch (use breakpoints) then personalize it.

  You must change the user associated with the Yes phone. If you just need to change their extension about the unit you can go to the user and change the Extension field for the new extension, and click Save.

• Why Lightroom creates duplicate records?

  I use Lightroom 5 for about a year, no problem. I have someone has accidentally created a second folder Lightroom, and now LR has it filled with duplicate files exactly like those of my original file in LIGHTROOM. How can I get rid of him? And how I accidentally create it?

  A lot of people seems to have this problem, in many versions of Lightroom that dates back at least 2011.

  Here is a short report I did once I found out how to solve. I hope this is of use.

  Description of the problem:

  After that import new fotos Lightroom shows them to be in a new directory tree, with the same name as the original directory tree destiny/target - except the name of the directory is all in CAPITALS. (Some people report unfunded duplicates!).

  In Lightroom, there are two directories with the same content. Note that no new record is actually created, LR think that there is a (you can check with 'show in Finder'). So, even if it seems that there are files and directories in doubles, in reality they are all correctly located in the original directory. LR is simply confused. Happened to me in the LR4 LR5 all versions.

  This only happens with some Lightroom catalogs. If you use multiple catalogs, some may be OK, others not.

  Workaround to get rid of the capitals and directories in duplicate:

  In Lightroom:

  1. Update folder location of capitals in the correct folder in lowercase (right click on the folder of capitals, and then choose "update folder location")
  2. Lightroom will ask if OK to merge the two - say Yes.
  3. Now, everything seems to be OK, except that with the new import key file will reappear.

  How to get rid of the problem of capitalization for this specific directory/catalogue altogether:

  In the OS x Finder:

  1. Create a new folder with a different name (at the same level in the hierarchy of the old directory).
  2. Move the contents of the old folder to the new folder, delete the old folder.

  In Lightroom:

  1. Starting Lightroom.
  2. LR now can not find the old folder, so reconnect you the library in the new folder ("update folder location", as above)
  3. Rename the new folder in the name of origin.

  Later when importing no capitals directory will appear. (That's until LR merges once again - I was not able to determine what are the causes for this).
