  Adobe Captivate 2 is not compatible for use with Windows 7. Check out the following link.

  You can try to install in compatibility mode and see if it helps.

  (a) right click on the configuration file (the file setup.exe for the software), and then select Properties.

  (b) now, click on the Compatibility tab and check the box that says run this program in compatibility mode for.

  (c) select Windows XP (Service Pack 3). Click on apply and OK.

  (d) now right-click on the configuration file and select run as administrator and follow the normal installation procedure. Check to see if it helps.

  I tried to reinstall my adobe captivate 9.0 on my PC that I recently uninstalled but the software requires the serial number of the product that I have ever received. So I couldn't reinstall the application on my system. I'm on a recurring monthly for a period of one year and I received emails from adobe asking me to update my credit card information. Could someone please advise on how to on this subject?

  If you have a subscription license, sign in with your Adobe ID (the one used for the subscription). Install the trial version of Captivate and when you start, your ID will be recognized.

  I have a two part question. I work with Adobe Captivate for the first time, so I am of course a lot of rookie, errors, and now I'm stuck.

  I have a project that is 122 229 KB, and when publishing to LMS, is 63 900 KB. I made sure all the graphics are as small as possible, but it still takes a long time to load when you access through the LMS. My first question is, what is the size of ideal file for the publication of LMS?   Welcome to the forums. For your last question: you can reduce the Preloader % in Preferences, project, start & end. Its default value is 100%, which means that the entire project is loaded before playing. Also: avoid having a heavy slide first, no audio action, not complicated, etc..

  There is no ideal real file size, because it depends on many factors. Keep the resolution as low as possible, I mean the size in pixels. You talk about graphics: what type of graphics do you use. If you're on the CP9, he agrees to SVG which, in most cases, have smaller file than bitmap images. But it's not only the graphics that define the size of the file: as the number of slides, images, audio and video clips.

  I recently installed Adobe® Captivate® 5, but so far failed to use it.

  When I select preferences... from the menu, Adobe Captivate, the application crashes and I find myself with the icon of the wheel that turns indefinitely.  So I left without apparent option, but to force him to leave.

  Captivate 5 is too old for this version of the OS waaaayyyyy.

  My suggestion is that you update the latest version of Captivate instead and save yourself a lot of anguish trying to Cp5 to work on an operating system for which it was never designed to be compatible.

  No table reactive in Captivate. You will need to change the layout in the Mobile display breakpoint. Scrolling is possible when you have a slide that is greater than the default height of the mobile breakpoint.

• Adobe Captivate Question 9-Animation (path)

  I am currently working in Adobe Captivate 9 and fight with some paths.  I've got some grouped items (an example: a piece of the puzzle is grouped with a text box) and want to evolve together on a path.  This trajectory looks great in the preview, the preview of HTML5, etc..  However, when I publish it as a file zip for my E-Learning review, it looks nothing like the preview or preview of html5.  The piece of the puzzle is in one place, and the text ends by not moving does not regarding - as they seek is more as if they are grouped.

  You can apply trajectories to groups, but it is a little tricky. It is the focal point of the group following the path.

  There is some confusion: you can publish to PDF, which will result in an interactive pdf.

  If you want to print a file, you must use the file, print. You can choose handouts. But it will be in the word (the model is not very nice).
