After updating the firmware, I can't open virtual store or Weather Channel

After the update as described http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/OPT0502VS0000R01.htm I can't open virtual store, The Weather Channel, Radeo, organizer, calculator - writes the error message.
Before you upgrade everything worked, just did not have access to the virtual store, kept asking the record and then opened the store. For this reason and do the upgrade.

Help me, please

Hello

That s strange.
You reset the day to factory settings?
If this is not the case, do.
You must turn off the trip and put the "Reset" to the left then to the right again.

  • Dell XPS 15 SSD NVMe slow after updating the firmware July 2016 and papillonné CPU (Core i7)

Edit: 9/2: title change intended to reflect issues of CPU throttling and discussion (second half of the thread)

I noticed a huge performance drag after updating the firmware and drivers of my XPS 15 9550. The update took place August 4, 2016.

Performance of my usual applications (Chrome, development tools and IDE, etc.) is dramatically lower. In general, I would say that things take about 3 times as long to arrive. I checked the CPU (normal), but also memory consumption (as normal) to discover that the problem is with the SSD drive.

On this laptop: 500 GB NVMe thnsn5512gpu7 NV (toshiba). Attached are the results of a benchmark with AS SSD. All write speeds are appalling, to say the least... that explains a lot, but I have no idea how to solve this problem, and whether or not it really relates to the latest firmware + update drivers provided by Dell.

(Note: I checked the BIOS, it seems that the SSD is currently configured in RAID mode.) Never touched this option before.)

Any idea? Other affected users in a similar way. Thanks in advance.

I managed to get the performance back by going to the properties of the disc and turn off windows write cache flushing heat. The two boxes should be checked. Write speed then went to about 1400 MB/s.

  • Solution for nasal sound choppy after updating the firmware of the player combo cdrw/dvd TS-L462C

Hello you all frustrated users Dell! : manhappy:

Before I post my solution, here's what happened to me...

Towards the end of November ' 07, I decided to update all my drivers for my Inspiron B130 running Windows XP sp2, including the firmware for the TS-L462C 24 x CD-RW/dvd combo drive.

In the next few days to update, I noticed that my audio started his jerky / stutter any kind of program that I used to listen to, unless you use the CD player.

I came to Dell and started browsing these forums for a solution, given that my warranty was expired, and only Dell was to restore the original configuration, that was not a very practical solution with all the unwanted 'important' that I have accumulated in two years.

I've tried everything by many users with the same annoying problem recommended here (update of Bios, drivers roll back, etc.).

The only thing that worked was to keep a CD in the drive at all times, which as we know, is not a permanent solution, but is favorite Microsoft term... workaround.

What I finally discovered that was the update of the firmware Dell 'bad' DE07... why they don't check these things?

The solution I finally found, after months of this and other forums, research is to restore firmware DE07 DE05.

That at first, does not seem that easy because the DE05 flashes the firmware from a boot disk and my B130 came with a floppy drive.

So here's how I did it...

    1. If you haven't already, you will need the DE07 utility that comes with the upgrade.

Get it here... TS-L462C DE07 firmware

Follow the instructions to download and unzip, but do not install... we just need the windows Flash utility.

    2. download and unzip the DE05 firmware.

Get it here... TS-L462C DE05 firmware

Note the location of this folder, because we need the .bin for sync this folder file.

    Mine unzipped here... C:\dell\drivers\R114334

    3. now open (double click) on the update of the firmware DE07 called SFDNWIN.exe

and follow the instructions to update...

    a. click on the download file ' open' button to the left.

    b. do not click on the DE07_060525.bin, but instead, navigate to the folder that has the DE05.bin, who, in mine, is located at C:\dell\drivers\R114334, to select. Click on 'open '.

    c. click on the "Start download" button in the middle.

    d. click "Restart Windows".

    e. system will restart after the flash is complete.

I hope this has been helpful and not too complicated, but it worked wonderfully for me!

    : manvery-happy:

    Good luck

    Ed

I've recently updated the card RAID LSI firmware on my ESXi 5.5 system (patched and update top of page)

When I rebooted, took place the following:

    1. the associated VMFS volume RAID was mounted

    2. the data on the volume store was not mounted

I mounted the data store manually and restarted my VMs

Do I have to re-signing the Volume and/or the data store to raise it properly.

The command should be ok and do the same thing as the command esxcli esxcli storage vmfs snapshot mount -l label|-u uuid (for details, see http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1011387).

  • 7780 OfficeJet appears offline (wireless) after updating the firmware on the router

7780 OfficeJet appears 'offline' on every Windows PC (OS: Windows 7/32-Bit or Windows 8/64-Bit) in my 802.11 wireless home network, even though the printer is fully functional when connected via USB to a machine. IP address of the printer can be crazy, WES is available, PASS, network configuration page shows CONNECTED, firmware just improved to f2011 network test report.

HPPSdr shows the installed printer with the correct IP address, and when you print a test page printing Test HPPDU appears in the print queue for the printer (offline).

Router is configured with WPA-2 / AES, authentication of the printer is configured as automatic (1 - WPA or WPA-2) and automatic encryption (AES or TKIP).

THX - this isn't the channel. It is a SNMP flag set (on all machines). Disabling status SNPM magically let the printer reappear.

  • TimeCapsule downgrades WiFi 2.4 GHz after applying the firmware update v7.6.7

After applying the firmware update v7.6.7 free WiFi to TimeCapsule is now 2.4 Ghz instead of 5 Ghz.

It was the update of the firmware with certainty that has made this... no doubt about it:

    • My mouse bluetooth interference notice when my MacBook is connected to WiFi 2.4 Ghz;
    • Before the update, everything is OK
    • After updating, my mouse mouse start jittering
    • < alt-click > WiFi icon in the menu bar confirms: the connection is now 2.4 Ghz

Restart to e TM Mo doesn't change anything.

In the TC WiFI options tried to put another name to the network successfully, but only 5 GHz can not connect to it: timeout error every time.

Tried the hard reset of TC and reconfigure the WiFi... the same result, but with a difference:

    • Setting an SSID separated for 5 GHz connection (in the WiFi options) has now created a network I can access.
    • However, this is not the best solution... I don't want 2 SSID.

The problem is that I can't go back... or can I?

Of course, you can, but it may or may not help.

    Open AirPort Utility

Hold down the option key on your Mac while you click on the version number of the firmware

  • Once I have updated the firmware, can I go back?

    Quick question...

    I have a player who's a little older. It's a 4GB running version V01.01.11A.

If I go ahead and update the firmware to version the most recent, if something is wrong, or I don't like the way it is, how hard is to return to V01.01.11a?

I'm usually the one who said, "if it does not work well, why mess with it." But I thought I'd go ahead and update this older drive.

    Thank you!

Yes, you can "" downgrade firmware very easily. But you must have a copy of the firmware to do so. You can use the software of Sandisk was updated, because it installs only the new firmware, it can find. You need to do a manual installation (there are indications in the "Sansa Fuze Firmware Update" section, just use the older firmware instead of the firmware related to the topic).

Problem is I don't know if there is a link anywhere on the Board for your current firmware. If this is the first production firmware (yours perhaps,.11 is old enough), Sandisk never displayed, only the subsequent updates. And there is no way to extract the firmware of your player to use as a backup if you decide to downgrade.

  • How can I update the firmwar in the tv 48T5445DG?

    Hallo,
According to Overview_direct_updates_for_end_customers_worev.pd f, I downloaded yesterday, the latest firmware for my Toshiba 48T544DG is Version 3.6.3c.
    By TV now has:
    Softwareaktualisierung V.3.6.0.b
    SoftwareVersion V.3.3.6k
I tried pressing the button OK on Softwareaktualiserung, but he told me, that software is up-to-date.
It does not try to update on the Astra satellite.
I also tried on the portal page, but did not find any option to update the firmware.

    So my questions:
s ' Please explain step by step on how to upgrade the firmware
-What are the parameters of sat/transponder update by Sam currend?
-would be even better, if the update would be possible by download and USB
-It would also be good to know what has been fixed.

Main reason for me to update the firmware, is that the remote control react also on order remotely from other devices. For example, sat-receiver and amplifier. Here are other manufacturers. Thince each manufacturer shall forward its own specific code, it seems to be a bug in the TV. (Regardless of manufacturer - a part of the signal of the remote control code). I hope that this could have been fixed.

I had to restore the factory settings by using Utility button and physics of the airport, but it has not solved the problem.

I'm not sure what is the problem...

Your airport is now not working? That is, the reset did not work.

    OR

It doesn't have to be upgraded after several attempts?

The airport is connected to the network as usual? You have full internet access through the airport?

What model is the most convenient airport?

The real model number could be a help. A1xxx of the base except the newest one... Suffice to say a grand.

    What is the current firmware?

If it is a very old model, they can sometimes give wrong if it has never been updated.

    Hello

The firmware can be downloaded and updated via the network.
But as far as I know you need to change the drive media or software update settings can not be started.
Media Player-> USB media player-> installation
Then press left or right, and select THE
Now we turn on the TV
Insert the USB key containing the firmware and after inserting the USB firmware update information appears on the screen.
    Then choose YES

  • Update the firmware on PowerEdge R815 for H700 - how?

    I want to update the firmware H700 integrated into my new 12.0.1 R815 - 0091 to 12.3.0 - 0032.

My first thought was to start from Systems Build and Update Utility with a copy of the am630_suu_a00.iso that I had downloaded, concatenated, and copied onto a portable hard drive connected to a USB port.

It worked well for the ports of Broadcom, but when he reached the R815 BIOS and firmware H700, he'd say he was going to update and then say that it would restart (confusingly telling me to 'remove all media startup' but I'm pretty sure that the DVD SBUU was supposed to stay, since the instructions say to keep start-up it until all updates are done). However, the machine simply restarted. It did not save pending updates to a partition so he could update at the start, and he did not ask me to insert a USB key for storage (implied by the text that flashes quickly by on the screen after you click Apply). I found myself on-screen SBUU once again, and firmware updates were not managed.

Finally, I gave up this approach. I thought maybe I could run the updates directly on the SUU volume but I had installed Windows Server 2008 R2 x 64 and SUU files run apparently only for x 86.

So I installed the x 86 version of Windows Server 2008 and now I can click on suulauncher.exe and run it as an administrator. SUU 6.3.0.267 launches and usefully shows me the updates of the firmware, I need, and I can choose them. But when I click on the button to update and I confirm that these updates will happen, absolutely nothing happens. You can see a screenshot here where I'm about to click on: http://imgur.com/R8jzm to reading online, I think that a progress bar is supposed to be coming up next. I looked at the C:\Dell\suu\support.log file and it says the following:

FINE: com.dell.suu.cm.BundleProcessor.processUpdateButtonEvent (SystemBundlePath) is G:\.\repository\PER815-WIN-R258158. XML

    WARNING: com.dell.suu.cm.CustomBundleXMLGenerator.generateBundleXML)

An error occurred during the transformation of this when creating the custom XML part

I thought that maybe I had a SUU image corrupted, so I re-extract ISO but got the same error.

Then I thought, why not just run the stand-alone package update RAID_FRMW_WIN_R269685.exe (using run as administrator). It's very encouraging, but then he says "This update Package is not compatible with the configuration of your system." Why is it not compatible? I have a built-in H700.

I am clearly out of my League here. Others really spend several days trying to update the firmware? I'm leaving on the parts where I create a bootable USB key with BACK and try to run the DOS version of the update of the firmware MegaFl.exe, only to discover that the FW872I.rom file is not found, and the parts where I break down crying.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Before go me crazy.

was there a particular reason that you have run RAID_FRMW_WIN_R269685.exe? You must run RAID_FRMW_WIN_R269684.exe instead.
