Aggregation of RF

Hello

An AP1100 can function as a capable aggregation RF WDS?

Thank you.

Hi Navid,

The 1100 Series AP can be set up for WDS. Look at how the WDS AP is involved in the management of the RM;

The WDS allows to control path technologies that must be active on an access point on each AP subnet; a backup WDS can also be defined in each AP subnet. The WDS provides:

Fast, customer's wireless secure layer 2 roaming the WDS plays the role of authenticator 802. 1 x for the network layer 2 wireless clients.

Aggregation of data management (RM) radio the WLSE provides intelligent processing of aggregated data collected by access point WDS to other customers of the wireless network. The WLSE can manage multiple subnets, so it can receive data many WDS APs running radio.

There is no aggregation data ROM without a WDS.

What is the role of the WDS device in the network wireless LAN (WLAN)?

The WDS device performs these tasks on your WLAN:

Announcement of WDS capability and participates in an election of the best WDS for your WLAN device. When you configure your WLAN for WDS, put you up a feature as the main WDS candidate and one or several additional devices as backup WDS candidate. If the main feature of WDS is taken offline, a backup WDS devices takes the place of the main unit.

Authenticates all the APs in the subnet and establishes a communication channel secured with each access points

APs radio data collection in the subnet, aggregates the data and transfers data to the device Wireless LAN Solution Engine (WLSE) on your network.

Saves all client devices in the subnet and establishes key in session for client devices puts in cache the credentials of client security. When a customer switches to another access point, the WDS device transfers the client credentials for security to the new access point.

    Hi, Peacegump,

For NIC teaming or link aggregation support, you will need to contact your provider network adapter or an OEM (for example, Dell offers a driver of consolidation).  They provide you with a driver that allows the grouping of NETWORK adapters, because Windows does not offer this feature in the core of the operating system.

  • Reference Dell M1000e + aggregator MI/O port mapping

    Hi all

I intend to install a new chassis Dell M1000e with Dell M/o aggregator. During the time of solution, I have a few questions about correspondences between the physical uplink with NDC blade ports ports. A Please check the config below and specify my queries?

    My hardware:

    • 1 x Dell M1000e
    • 2 x M i/o aggregator (A1 & A2)
    • 16 x M630 Blade (Qlogic 57840 S ANC four ports card)

    Reference DELL M/o aggregator:

    (reserved for Future use) module QSFP + 2 ports (Port No1:33 - 36 & No2:37 Port-40)

I want to use these two modules for my blades 4-port Quad and the confusion I had, how to associate these 16 ports (8 ports of each module) to the server blade and the amount of bandwidth I will get by blade with redundancy.

Module 4-port SFP + 10 GbE (Flexi-O of the Bay) (Port No.: 41-48)

Module 4-port 2/4/8 Gb FC FlexIO (Flexi Bay 1) (Port No.: 49-56)

FYI - I would like to install ESXi 6.0 on all blades

    Thank you!!

Oriented server ports are configured automatically as part of the aggregation of links groups if the server is configured for the LACP Protocol. Static GAL is not supported.

You will use the segregation network VLAN. A VLAN for network traffic and the other for the CF. Here are the commands to configure interfaces for different VLANS.

    Unidentified:

Dell (conf) # tengigabit interface 0/16

    Dell(conf-if-te-0/16) # vlan unidentified 4

    Output Dell(conf-if-te-0/16) #.

    Tag:

Dell (conf) # tengigabit interface 0/16

    The tag vlan Dell(conf-if-te-0/16) # 4

    Output Dell(conf-if-te-0/16) #.

Traffic from servers will follow the path of the VLAN. For example, if an internal server, facing the port is set to VLAN 4, that traffic will be transmitted on the uplink port which has also set to VLAN 4.

By default, all external ports are placed in a single whole LAG. However, you can change the configuration to support several shifts of uplink. Page 159 of guys configuration takes you step by step on setting up several shifts of uplink.

The aggregator automatically configures to match the FCoE parameters used in the switches to which it connects through its uplink ports. FIP snooping is automatically configured on an aggregator. Automatically configured port channel (LAG 128) works CWF port mode. See page 86 for more information and examples of config.

For redundancy, you could stack the units together. 241 page details the process of stacking.

Page 54 of 102 of the Guide blade IO has one other diagram that details more internal server port mapping for each blade.

  • A group of link aggregated traffic mirroring

Hello. I would like to mirror traffic entry and exit of a group of aggregation of link on my Dell PowerConnect 7024. By looking at the http under switching configuration page > Ports > traffic Mirroring > Port Mirroring > add, it doesn't seem to be an option for traffic a single port and not a link aggregated mirror group.

Can someone help me to check if this is doable? If so, how?

Your results are correct. Associate connection ports are not able to participate in the port mirroring.

I created a team with suite ABEC 3.

    My network have 2 VLANS.

At this stage, I could ping my server network, and I can ping the server in my network.

When I defined the three ports of the switch (where three cards are connect) as LASG and I defined in belonging to a VLAN these three ports whose status is F, I ping the server from the network, but I can't ping the server network.

Could someone tell me how I could build this bandwidth betwween my powerconnect, and poweredge?

  • 802.11n aggregation mode WGB

    Hello!

I noticed this message during startup when upgrading from JB AP 1262 to 15.2 (2) in the bridge of the workgroup mode:

    "Disable 802.11n aggregation Repeater/GTC/NRB mode."

I hope someone can clarify why aggregation is disabled and whether or not it is specific to the IOS again. Thank you!

Well what I know is that Cisco would not support 802.11n for these types of connections and only really help customers. Now you can get the PTP bridges to connect to 802.11n, but this does not mean that Cisco supports. They may also removed the ability for these functions to support 802.11n. A few years back I have two 1252 close link and connect with N rates. Don't know if that still exists or not well.

  • LACP SG200 - 08 double speed ethernet when two aggregation of links Mac it

Hi guys, I use a mac mini and imac with 2 Thunderbolt ethernet adapter to make the aggregation of links on a SG200-08.

To copy the files of drivers from the mac mini raid0 stroke, the speed of the network can reach 225 MB/S, but the actual speed of the disk drive is only 107 MB/S

I mean that the two ports in each mac carry only the same data over time. Can he do a given separate two and carry on two ports?

I can find use VLAN or else combine two IPs for one?

Don't know how yo SG200-08 GUI web definition (this is my first time using the smart switch)

Hi Yang, your computer supports a load such as link aggregation/LACP 802.3ad balance method? You can effectively double the data rates without a nic-team aggregation technology or link any.

  • SGE2010 stacking compared to the aggregation of links

Can anyone provide an answer regarding stack switch SGE2010 against the aggregation of links if more than 1 GB connectivity is required between the individual switches? Currently, having multiple switches in a stack configuration but would like to increase the bandwidth between some or all switches. Does support cumulation a link aggregation configuration? If so the ports can be used and how the aggregation of links must be configured in conjunction with stacking?

    Hi Jacqueline,.

    On the SGE2010 - Default stacking ports: 24/GBIC 3, 48/GBIC 4 stacking support, i.e. the two ports.

If you want a GAP between SGE2010, my suggestion, and others may disagree, would be to stop the default stacking mode and standalone mode.

Then create a GAP between the SGE2010 switches.

    Hi all!

can someone tell me if there is a router from Cisco Small business with the functionality of the link aggregation? (I want to connect two 4 Mbps SDSL for flow)  The RV082 can do?

    Best regards

You would need a RV016, who takes in charge up to 7 WAN ports. RV082 has only two WAN ports.

  • aggregation of links in the ucs servers

Hello. Is it possible to aggregate links in the UCS Manager to get the speed of single link over 10 Gbit/s on each server? How can I do? I can build link interface on linux, which is installed on the server. But what do I do in the UCS Manager?

Correct, the aggregation of links (port-channel) can be configured between the FI and the IOM if you have second generation FI/IOM and configure the port-channel to the title of the material > material > policies > policies > policy of chassis discovery.

So pretty much, make you the aggregation of links at the OS level and then proceed to UCS as described above but it will provide a port channel for the entire path (IOM at the END)

  • string aggregation > 4000 store in varchar2 (4000)

    Dear experts,

I'm using Oracle 11.2.0.3. I have the table such as

    ID NAME

    1 xyz

    1 abc xyz

    1 xyz abc def

    2 abc

    2 xyz nmnx

I want to aggregate them so that I have the aggregation of the NAME by ID

    as

1XYZ xyz abc xyz abc def
    2ABC xyz nmnx

I was able to do this using:

    WITH t
AS (SELECT 1 AS id, 'xyz' AS name FROM DUAL
             UNION ALL
SELECT 1, ' xyz abc' FROM DUAL
             UNION ALL
SELECT 1, 'xyz abc  def' FROM DUAL
             UNION ALL
             SELECT 2, 'abc' FROM DUAL
             UNION ALL
SELECT 2, 'xyz  nmnx' FROM DUAL)
SELECT     id, RTRIM (XMLCAST (XMLAGG (XMLELEMENT (e, name, ' ') ORDER BY NULL) AS CLOB)) as agg_name
        FROM   t
    GROUP BY   id;

However, if the length (agg_name) > 8 (for simplicity), then the name should be on a separate line with the same id

    1 xyz xyz

    1 abc def

    1 xyz ABC

    2 abc xyz

    2 nmnx

    token order is not important.

    Thanks for any help

    Above could be done using

    WITH t
AS (SELECT 1 AS id, 'xyz' AS name FROM DUAL
             UNION ALL
SELECT 1, ' xyz abc' FROM DUAL
             UNION ALL
SELECT 1, 'xyz abc def' FROM DUAL
             UNION ALL
             SELECT 2, 'abc' FROM DUAL
             UNION ALL
SELECT 2, 'xyz nmnx' FROM DUAL)

  • Dynamic aggregation with Calc members

Sorry if this question has been answered elsewhere, but I couldn't find the answer.

I have a dynamic member Calc has CalcAcc a form of associate membership. The requirement now is when the aggregation is complete, to include the CalcAcc too, so that when users see the value of CalcAcc against a parent in the Employee Dimension, they can see the total of the CalcAcc for each Department, (Entity). I tried the usual aggregation without result, but I am aware that calculated members dynamically are not considered in the essbase calculation scripts.

Two passes will not help, but it will not make something worse.

No, there is no way to make the Smart View for you - to do calculation order (which is the type of problem that you are experiencing) is strictly a problem "side server. You could draw all the details of level 0 and summarize yourself in Excel, but I'm sure that's not the kind of answer you are looking for.

Technically, you can change the formula of Member to conditionally apply the recursive logic like this (pseudo-code, of course):

    If level 0

    Make existing calc

    On the other

Summarize the value of auto level 0

    End

But this technique has notoriously bad performance. I would accept that you will need a plan change and then try and understand why members should be dynamic calc in the first place. One of the advantages of the dynamic calc, is that he will answer instantly, without a separate calculation need to be performed, to changes in input values that animate the formula. It is sometimes a reason to use them in applications where users enter data directly (for example planning-style applications).
