another disk internal ssd for my computer

Hello, I have a feel LIKE Phoenix 810qe 230qe Desktop PC, I would get another drive internal ssd for my computer and the clone with usb plug so I can't open up my case, I'll use a Vantec CB-ISATAU2 SATA/IDE to USB 2.0 supports 3.5-inch, 2.5-inch adapter, I like to know what kind of disk internal ssd I should use I see a lot of hybirds, but what is the difference? I want to get something close to what I have now which is 128 GB SSD drive.where or what would be the best...

You say that you do not want to open the case.  Is it fair to clone the disk or you are not going to install it in the computer?

I have a HP 810-135qe Phoenix.  I installed a Samsung 840 EVO 500 GB SSD2.5 ".  It works absolutely great.  I cloned my HHD using the software of the Data Migration tool provided by Samsung.  In addition, the Software Wizard to adjust the performance of the SSD.  There is a section to download at the bottom of the page in the link I have provided.  It is one of the SSDS a few who has a good reputation for installation without changing the BIOS.

Please, click on "Thumbs Up +" if I helped you and click "Accept as Solution" If your problem is resolved.

    SSD drives... OWC (macsales.com) or Cruical are most recommended.  I've been running a Crucial SSD for 2 years without problem.  Samsungs have many problems reported here... maybe because of thousands used if the questions are obvious but even Samsung does not claim full compatibility Mac on their Web site.

    1. do I need to buy 2.5 "to 3.5" internal hard drive mounting Kit for this?

    2. do I need to buy a second cable SATA III?

    3. do I need to buy additional cables or not?

    4. What is the correct method to install Windows 8.1 this SSD?

    Since I'm not a guy elected, your opinions of education / advise are much appreciated.

    If the Dell backup and restore media recovery is used it will be identical to the factory with all the drivers preinstalled system installation.

    There may be updates to the driver, but everything should work on the box.

    The simplest way will set up an installer of the USB flash drive to use as a boot drive. You may need to use Mac a friend or go to an Apple store for it.

    General information on this topic:

    Vista recovery media obtain and/or use the Partition Recovery Vista on your computer to the factory settings .

    There is no Vista free download legal available.

    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Also ask them if it is possible to do the recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.

    They will tell you how to do this.

    Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, Acer, recovery disk/s etc).
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.
    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.
    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    Changed the bad disk to another - XP key will transfer fees drive installed and how to make xp on the fresh drive?
    Sure. Just use the XP installation CD you used to install the operating system the first time. Or, if you have an OEM machine with a restore to original image:
    Most of notebooks and OEMs (HP, Sony, etc.) come with a picture of factory restore on a special partition on the hard drive. The factory restore process is normally called by pressing a key of function (such as F11) to start the computer. There will be a message as to what function key press the screen when you start your computer. You can also consult the manual of your computer or the computer mftr.'s site, or contact technical support to learn how to restore your computer if you plant from each computer mftr. He does it differently - sometimes even between models.
    These machines also generally have a utility to create physical recovery disks in case the hard drive needs to be replaced or the factory restore image is somewhat damaged. If you have not created the recovery image recovery physical and/or damaged disks, contact technical support of computer mftr. to order a set of recovery disks. It is normally very expensive, around $20-25.
    Hello
    my partner has a computer laptop bieng a complete spaz when buying said computer laptop did not come with a disk or a backup appeared basically does anyone know how I reboot back to when my partner bought so we can start all over again
    laptop is a Toshiba satellite operating system windows vista Home premium
    Hello
    With a Toshiba, if you do not have to purchase recovery disc, there will be a disk to reinstall Vista from recovery Partition.
    You press 0 (zero) to the starting power / and follow the instructions of Toshiba to reinstall back to the factory settings.
    There are several methods to reinstall Vista, you may be interested.
    There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.
    You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.
    They should do this for a small fee.
    To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:
    You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:
    How to change the Boot order in BIOS:
    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/SS/bootorderchange.htm
    "How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and replace product manuals.
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/326246
    And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.
    The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)
    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.
    Ask them to the proper key sequence.
    And if you do not score a manufacturer of recovery on your hard drive, you should be able to make your own recovery from her disks to reinstall the operating system.
    Go to programs > name of the manufacturer of your computer > then their system or recovery tools software topics for them, depending on how it is formulated.
    If you can't find any reference to it, contact the manufacturer for advice on how to make these recovery disks.
    Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.
    If this happens, you may need to try this instead:
    You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.
    Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.
    And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs
    Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:
    "How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html
    And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.
    And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.
    "How to activate Vista normally and by Activation of the phone '
  • "Impossible recovery disk for this computer. Confirm the type of model.
    Dear everybody
    I have a prolem on my computer, and my computer is a Sony Vaio VGN-CS230J. My computer operating system is Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit. Now I use Windows 7 and I want to back to the original operating system recovery, but it does not work. When I want to recover, it displays a message 'can't the recovery for this computer disk. Confirm the type of model. I wish that everyone could help me.
    To return to Vista, you must do a clean install, which probably a format the hard disk during the process (at least I'd do a format just to be sure to do it again and not accidentally install two OS on the same system that would create a more serious problem).  Make sure that you backup that data that the process will erase your drive first clean everything.  If you use a recovery disk or a recovery partition provided by the manufacturer, you must contact the manufacturer for advice on how to complete the process, because the recovery process is their to and not Microsoft.  This is the computer we're talking about:http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/model-home.pl?mdl=VGN-CS230J®ion_id=1?  We can not help you with the process of recovery beyond what I've included below (which is basicially links to the Sony site and ways to contact them or obtain additional information).
    If you use the recovery Partition and it does not work, then you might need instead of disk recovery (that you can get from the manufacturer, for a small fee or maybe even do partition recovery - well than if the partition does not work I would ask on the disks, it - see the following) (: http://www.kb.sony.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=C427414&sliceId=1&docTypeID=DT_KNOWLEDGEARTICLES_1_1&dialogID=143790279&stateId=0).  Here are the steps to perform the recovery discs recovery according to Sony: http://www.kb.sony.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=C1003796&sliceId=1&docTypeID=DT_KNOWLEDGEARTICLES_1_1&dialogID=143790279&stateId=0 , but even once, we cannot help you with this.  The error you get suggests the recovery information does not match the model of the computer - which may mean there was an error during production (with the computer or with the recovery software) - but I don't know who to hit and you really do need to talk to Sony about this.  http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/support-contacts.pl?mdltype_id=24.  If we consider the costs if this system is no longer under warranty, I think I'll try the chat option - although not as effective or as fast as the phone, he can usually answer most questions and help with most of the problems (and tell you how to do the things you need to do and how to get the things you need to get - if anything).  You know the problem and you know the situation and you know what you need to understand, therefore, to ask the right questions and get the answers you need.  If the chat also costs, you could try e-mail even if it will take more time and you'll have to write one that asks everything you want to know the first time or you will go back for days.
    I hope this helps.
    Good luck!
