• rMBP mid-2014 15 "screen GPU artifacts

  Hello

  I currently have my rMBP mid-2014 15 "for over 2 years and I start noticing screen artifacts arise.

  Any program iam at or it load is turned on. Every now and then a line/zone flashes black or scratched.

  What could this be? The laptop has never been dropped or anything?

• Artifacts while gaming on Satellite C660

  My laptop gets artifacts while I'm playing.

  Temperatures are somewhere around 50, so it's not a problem I think.

  There is one thing I have noticed, all the games where I get artifacts are directX games (minecraft works well and is openGL, but games like TeamFortress2 and even Scribble cosmonauts now are unplayeble because of the artifacts)

  My version of directX is 11 and I tried to reinstall several times but it didn't work.

  I can t believe that it of not possible to install it too much if it has been downloaded driver Toshiba and the box on the right page.

  I found a statement of installation for this laptop. He was placed in the pilot area.

  Sorry, but I put t see any other possibility to install Toshiba stuff on your laptop.
  As far as I remember that some drivers and utilities need other applications. Therefore, the order is important.

  I bought the R500 at the end of August 2008 and from the beginning I had problems with my laptop screen.

  Of course not ;) so I called the support number to replace the notebook (less than a month after buying it).

  I get a new, and I checked the screen immediately. Perfect, no artifacts and everything seems to be good...

  But for 1 month (end of November), I saw again new artifacts! In fact, the artifact are really visible if you don't look at the screen perfectly in front of me. Indeed, in this position, the objects are less visible...

  So my first question:
  -Someone else you have this kind of problem?
  -I have to contact TOSHIBA support to replace my screen once more?

  ... It's really frustrating to buy a laptop more than 2000 at a society that says to had produced solid and have twice the same problem...

  I've got 3 different laptops Toshiba, but something like that never happened to me.

  I think you should contact the ASP from Toshiba (certified partner) and should ask verification of the laptop / screen again.
  It certainly looks like the issue of the material and the affected part must be checked and replaced.

  Bought a refurbished Satellite P L50-B-1 1 almost 3 weeks (20 days to be precise).

  At startup, the laptop preform as expected, however if left running for a period of time and you can start any application that allows the secondary GPU, AMD Radeon R7 M260 in this case, some graphical artifacts vertical are present.

  The only way to get past this is to do a windows restarts.

  GPU drivers have been updated and all the other drivers and BIOS.

  Don't think that it is associated with temperature, such as in most of the cases the laptop remained idle.

  Any ideas or advice on this matter will be greatly appreciated.

  Have you tried to test with external display or TV? It would be interesting to know if this problem is visible on internal or external display as well.

  If possible, test and send feedback.

  From the other day, I get artifacts strange screen. Sometimes, I have horizontal lines, vertical bars sometimes, square pink sometimes strange checkerboard (which will sometimes disappear when I use my mouse wheel).

  I have updated all drivers started in safe mode, returned a few weeks on recovery - and a lot restarted. Sometimes mistakes have been fixed, sometimes not. I also cleaned all the dust from inside. Time here are almost the same everyday also.

  I guess the video card goes wrong, but I hope that there may be an easy fix, I forgot. If this isn't the case, I need recommendations for a new video card.

• W520 screen flicker / artifacts

  Hello

  I'm looking for more help with my newly arrived w520, 2820QM, 4gigs of Ram and NVQ2000M, 500 GB 7200 RPM.

  The first start and throughout the installation procedure, the screen flickered with artifacts represented in the film below:
