Aspire V3 keyboard and wireless issues

Hello

I have an Aspire V3 - 771 G-9809, that is a little more than two years.

Some keys on the keyboard at the top left do not work, such as the A, Q, 1 and Esc.  I called Aspire support before the expiry of the period for free help and they gave instructions to resolve this problem, something to do with the accumulation of static electricity upward, the included patch remove the battery and enter the BIOS to boot, but I do not now remember what the steps were.  Does anyone else have this same issue or know the steps to fix?

In addition, for a while now the wireless is not connected and is low and slow when connected.  I don't think that the problem is with my router or my network as all other computers and devices in the end work from home.  I have to constantly disconnect, then reconnect the network connection to get the internet to work.  For any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

The solution for static buildup is to remove the battery and cord power, press and hold power for 30 seconds, plug the power cord and start. There is nothing in the Bios that will fix the keyboard. Your keyboard could be dirt in these keys or it becomes defective and must be replaced.

On the wireless, if you have the Atheros AR5BWB222, many laptops have problems with this card. You can try to reinstall the latest version of the driver for it, but you must uninstall all older drivers.

As much as it's been around for two years, is it possible, he got hit pretty hard one of the antennas is out.

If yours has a t shaped door on the bottom, you can remove it to get to the Wifi card.

Many people are replacing the card.

installed a keyboard and wireless mouse and the mouse works fine, but the keyboard types the wrong keys! Any ideas? Thank you

Wired or wireless - is usually not serious unless the wireless can get more interference.  If the keyboard is close to the receiver which is connected to the computer and you get the strikes hurt - my suggestion is to try first the keyboard on another computer.

To do this, * not * require you to install specific drivers.  Simply unplug the combo of a computer and in the other and see if the keyboard works correctly.  Then, you can troubleshoot from there.

  • using the KDL-46W700 how to connect to the wireless keyboard and wireless mouse

    Hello

I use KDL-46W700 how to connect to the wireless keyboard and wireless mouse

Unfortunately, you can not connect a keyboard wirelessly on your TV. Your TV will need a driver for this. Sad thing, it's impossible to install anything on the tv, which includes the driver for the external devices such as a wireless (except USB) keyboard... I recommend the SIDEVIEW TV application that has the remote control / function keyboard and mouse... this app is free and can be downloaded via Google Playstore... ^^.

    Hello

What is your whole keyboard and mouse? They come with a USB dongle?

    • If Yes, you need to adapt this dongle for new machine and you have nothing to do, they will work automatically.
    • If not, this means that they use Bluetooth or receiver built in, in this case, your machine must have bluetooth or a receiver.

My question: do you know what is the model of all keyboard and mouse? (Look at the bottom of the keyboard).

    Kind regards.

  • Satellite A300-1AL - keyboard and touchpad issues after change of OS

    Hello

I'm looking for suggestions or ideas how to deal with the problem of keyboard and the touchpad, which occurred just after I installed the new operating system. I changed from Windows Vista to Windows 7 and my keyboard and touchpad become inactive after a few minutes of starting the system. It is not serious if I write something or not, the unit works for a short time, then turn off automatically. I tried to find updates the driver but failed to come through what might be the solution. It is difficult to work with the screen keyboard so I hope that you will be able to help me.

    Thank you in advance,
    perkit

I have Satellite A300-1LI and I installed clean Win7 32-bit using the Microsoft installation disc and all devices are working properly including the keyboard and the touchpad.

Have you installed Win7 upgrade or clean the Win7 version?
Have you used Microsoft installation CD?
In General, keyboard and touchpad must work without any additional driver.

  • How can keyboard and mouse issues - I solve them? Is this a problem with the computer or device?

    Hello

Recently (within the last week), I ran into a problem where my computer thinks certain keys/buttons are down.

    They are:

    W

    A

    S

    D

    Q

    E

    Maj

    Space

    Control

    Right-click

    Left click

These are my most commonly used keys/buttons, so it can become very annoying. In addition, most of the F keys get stuck, but it's because there is something that needs to be cleaned under the feet.

My questions are: How can I fix? Is this a problem with my computer or my keyboard and mouse?
