Black screen with a white flashing dashboard on the top left corner
I try to use the recovery disks (four in total). I put the first disc in and it ran on F11 and it ran, then he asked me to assess extra and who ran very well. Then he asked for 1 system recovery disc and that went very well, last she asked me to put in disc 2 of the system recovery and all I got was a black screen with a related flashing on the top left corner of the screen and it did not run. So now I'm stuck, and the disk 2 and 3 did not perform. Help! I really don't want to spend three hours on the phone with HP. I have a HPE-470F, Windows 7
I hope we can get it worked. Normally you do not press F11 when you use recovery discs. Not sure, but you may have triggered a step wrong using it.
Follow the instructions here closely again with an attempt to recover:

I left by mistake a USB in the port when I restarted my computer (Windows 7).
Since then, when I start the computer, it goes through a few stages starting and then ends with a black screen with a cursor flashing at the top.
If I press ESC during startup and access the start menu, something marked WED... is highlighted and I press on enter and it starts normally.
How can I get Windows 7 to do a normal boot without having to access the Boot Menu each time?
Thank you.
Tried that, but it did not work. Finally got and IT guy come and it took him 3 1/2 hours to repair.
Need a bootable floppy which has then repairs itself.
Lesson learned. Have an available for each computer startup disk.

Help with rotation symbol and address at the top left
I want to be able to turn a symbol on the center of my choice (or even the center of the image/symbol), but retain the upper left corner as 0,0. Is this possible? It seems that I may have only one or the other.
My project is an image (inside a MovieClip symbol) which moves and rotates according to the direction of travel. Only problem, it's funny. And then when I Center/adjust the rotation of the image inside the symbol, its origin is no longer in the same place, and I have to give additional numbers to compensate for. I guess the reticle is (0,0) as well as the central point or rotation. I'm fine with this being (0,0), but how can I move the rotation/pivot also point? I tried to use the free transform tool to move the white dot in the Center, but little success.
Any tips? Thank you!
AFAIK, you must choose one or the other. If centered rotation is important, then Center your 0,0 and use the compensation values if you need to locate the top-left corner moving ever.
I don't know if the loading of the moiveclip in an empty movieclip can offer a solution that you want to or not. You can rotate the movieclip centered inside and use the movieclip containing the x / values there. It might be interesting to play with and see what happens.

2. click on manage another account. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
3. click on create a new account.
4. type the name you want to assign to the user account, click an account type, and then click on create an account.

Black screen with flashing '_' in the upper left corner.
Im running Vista 64-bit Home Premium and recently ran chckdisk because the computer found some "bad sectors" and prompted me to run. After reboot, the computer loads the image in which I can press "delete" to enter the bios (which I do), then press "tab" to go to the post OFFICE (which has no effect and always load the black screen with a '_' blinking at the top left. If I do nothing, the black screen with the '_' blinking always appears after the image. I can't start in safe mode or access the "Advanced Boot Options". The only thing I can do after the black screen is press "ctrl alt del" in which the same process begins.

It's a white box in the upper left corner on my main screen (Center). There is nothing in it, and it covers a section of 6 icons on Desktop 3 across and 2 down. It occurs during the boot process and I was not able to attach it to a specific program. I was informed by Dell it is a Windows 7 problem.
I had a computer technician who had encountered the problem before. I have a Dell and this white box was some kind of problem with the backup of Dell and the restoration. I just stopped the program of commissioning and the white box does not return.

T400 problem booting from the hard disk, blinking cursor on the top left corner of the screen
I have problems with T400 (2765-TDG). He struggled with the Setup, which requires power 5 minutes/disable to propely operating system boot.
Computer laptop is less than two months, entirely properly the driver being up-to-date, then after that, nothing's been done about it to user or system administrator. Problem occurred suddenly after two weeks of mentioned maintenance.
Symptoms:
- After initialization of the mouse, screen goes black, and the upper left corner white cursor starts to Flash
- There is no key keyb which can contine begin the process, wait for the reboot
- There is no other device connected to the laptop, even mouse not
- We have several, sometimes 3-4, sometimes even 10 times, to restart with the power button in order to get the boot of the operating system
- When he is successful, just before the start of the operating system, the boot in diagnostic mode to start (with fast start disabled) I can hear only a single beep
What I tried to do:
- I changed the BIOS setting to force booting only from hard drive, cut off from any other starting device.
- Also, changed from AHCI mode to compatibility for hard drive, but without help.
- Turned off the coast of quick start, but during the startup process, there is no specific error indicated
- Updated version of BIOS to 2.03 - 1.01 but with no help
- Restored the default BIOS, no help
Done some diagnostics generals, and here is what I noticed:
- After changing the settings in the BIOS, save & exit, the computer hangs with a black screen. I have to turn off and on in order to continue the initialization. The settings in the BIOS are registered correctly.
- When I was able to boot into the operating system (XP), graphics card sometimes is not recognized, not even by the original driver installation. In Device Manager, I have two graphics card drivers recognized traffic sign with "Intel management engine interface" device with warning sign
- In Event Viewer, and then only error line is "Problem with HECI driver communicating with firmware" or something like that
- Operating system is not able to enter in standby mode, it justshows white screen and I have to turn off the laptop by pressing the off button longer
Any help appreciated. Thank you! I hope I can cope with this before I send laptop to the authorized service.
Vedran
I'm sorry to tell you, but in case, can I had to send laptop to the authorized service provider. They replaced the motherboard and the hard disk (!). Now, everything works fine, but puts shame on Thinkpad T series notebook.

I'm not sure that this is necessary or is this evidence to the client from where comes the evidence/invoice for approval?
Thank you for your time and consideration!
Hi Brandon,.
By default, if you do not make the signature field in the document manually, a signature block (with the signature and email address) is placed in the lower left corner of the default document.
When sending the document to the Send tab, just check "in preview, the Signatures of Position or add form fields" and click Next. In the preview page, you can drag and drop a Signature field as well as other fields of form to a position in the document.
Here is the link for reference:

Yesterday, I was using my computer and it locked up, so I turned off the power and the reboot. When I did this went to a system startup repair screen and said that no problem was detected on windows startup. However, I always get a black with a cursor screen when I try to start my computer. It does this in regular mode, course, debugging, any mode that concerns windows makes the screen just go black after the windows loading screen.
I found many people having problems with black screen, but none seems to be identical to mine, since most people can always use safe mode. I tried to do a system restore but it says that no restore point has been set, even if I did restorations in the past by the control panel (not the computer repairman found by pressing F8 to turn on my laptop.
My laptop is a Sony VAIO VGN NW125J, I don't have a windows recovery disk, or something like that because I got a free upgrade to Windows 7, when I bought the laptop a little over a year. Someone knows a way to solve this problem, or I'll have to give up a few hundred dollars and bring it to the Geek Squad? Thanks in advance!
