black vertical line when using the charger on my HP 6500 E709n

When you use the loader on my HP 6500 E709n, I get vertical black line in the middle of the page.  It appears on outgoing faxes just like any time I copy or scan.  He can't if I lay the originals directly on the glass, only when you use the charger. I am new to this forum (or any forum also), but I looked at the messages about similar problems with other models, but have not found a solution.  Can someone help me or point me in the right direction to find an answer?... Thank you!!

See post from 20/09/11... It must be gently the magazine cover to reveal that the slot of the animal auto scan and clean only...

    Hi @realestatejeann,

I see that you have found one black vertical line when using the ADF. With a few steps, we should be able to solve this problem.

Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (do not use a hub or a surge protector) This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8600 more black vertical line when copy or scan

HP Officejet Pro 8600 more black vertical line when copy or scan everything in the middle of the page

    Hi Clementstl,

I understand that you have a 8600 Pro Officejet which puts a black vertical line in the center of your copies/scans. I'm sorry to hear you had to deal with this, but I will certainly do my best to help you solve this problem.

I recommend the rest of this document of vertical stripes, lines or streaks in the Copies, faxes or Scans as it should be in a position to help to cross that line. The most common cause is a small spot of something on the glass of the scanner, so just make sure that when you're cleaning use you as much elbow grease you can collect

Just to clarify a little further, if the problem only seems to occur when you use the automatic document feeder, you'll want to focus your attention on the small strip of glass that he uses on the left side. If it only occurs when you use the flat glass, you want to concentrate on the large piece of glass he uses.

Hope this helps, have a nice day!

It is now resolved.  It seems that there is a strip of glass that is used for the automatic copy of power and research.  The glass has a note on it that I cleaned which solved my problem of vertical line.

  • DeskJet 3835: Black vertical lines when scanning - Deskjet 3835

    Hello

Whenever I scan using the document feeder, there are black vertical lines showing on the picture. This happens with the dish however. The printer is the 3835 Deskjet all in one set. Receive your answer. Thank you.

The lines that you describe would generally caused by a small file specifications (or some spec) on the thin glass to the left of the bed main scanner.  Open the scanner cover and clean the thin glass.  It can help to shine a bright light which is held at a slight angle to the bed of the front.  This would be to highlight the areas to be cleaned.

  • dirty scan image when using the charger - m225 printer

use of m225dw printer for 4 months now. scan of the magazine images have vertical lines all over the place in the document.  Please advise how to clean the part of the supply. I don't think I have the same problem when scanning using the glass. Please tell us how to clean the description step by step including feeder (?) for parts, etc.

The fix is usually very simple...

When you get the lines while using the ADF documents and not from the scanner glass, it is because there are a few pieces of paper/dust/something in the small drop of glass at the bottom of the glass.

Lift the cover and you will see this tape from a window, just under the side where the paper feeds.  Where is the scanner parks actually 'see' the paper as it rolls.

Carefully remove the pieces with a can of compressed air or a brush.  They line up right where the scratches are usually.

I had this problem with my 8600 before HP and found the answer here on the Forum!

  • OfficeJet Pro 8600 Premium: centered on the black vertical line on copy the view when using the auto doc feeder

This just started happening in the last two weeks. Whenever I have to SCAN using the ADF, a black line runs from top to bottom. I cleaned the glass to the left of the flat glass and cleaned the white strip above the glass on top of the printer that opens. The community has it any other suggestions or experience with this issue? The printer is about 2 years old.  Thank you!

I looked back through the forum and found a great Bob Headrick troubleshoot in 2008. This allows to calibrate the printer has been the answer for me. Thanks Bob!

  • OfficeJet pro 8600 more: 2 black vertical line when scanning only

I get 2 vertical black lines while scanning using the ADF. This does NOT happen when you use flat bed scanning. Also, this does not happen with copies in the ADF or flat bed - scan only using the car power.

Not an expert on your device, but if you look on the side of the adf, where the paper feeds, you open the lid to the scanner glass is displayed.  Now on the left side is where the adf feed above to scan paper is on the side left where there will be some dirt or material causing lines.  Usually, you can take the copy that came out and line up so you can see the dots making line.  Sometimes, you need to use your nails to kind of scratch material out of the glass.  I usually rub really hard with some windex first, and if that does not work, I line up the and scrape the residue out of the glass.  Again, it will be on the left side of the window in an inch on the left side.

  • Cannot be joined lines when using the line Segment tool

So unfortunately, I've updated to the latest version of Illustrator Cc (V19.2.1). And to my horror, I can no longer draw a line (with the line segment tool) then draw another line, coming from the previous those anchor point. When I try to shoot immediately. He's trying to turn the line rather than create a line joining... anyway to change that or am I stuck with it?

    (Also, I use windows currently..)

    http://Tinypic.com/player.php?v=iqc0mc & s = 9 #. Vr5gifJ95hE

I don't know if you can say/see/see in the video, but here's the process that I'm following departure using the line-drawing the line-> > segment trying to draw a line from that anchor point (and that is the question, when I'm doing it automatically, it assumes I want to transform the line)-> changes to the tool selection and clicks on the line to deselect-> goes back and finishes object, repeating the process.

    Help me please... I'm desperate...

It is these new life forms, a few disadvantages too with the rectangle tool, ellipse etc. tool.

to go back to the old behavior

Object > shape > expand the form, do a deed for him, or do what I did a hotkey (Windows 7).

Edit > keyboard shortcuts > Menu commands > object > shape > expand the form , then in the first box to the right click in it, select and press a key on the keyboard, I choose F9, OK and name.

It's an extra step, having to have a finger on the mouse and the other on the keyboard for each line. but I can't think otherwise.

  • lazorjetpro: black vertical line when copying but does not print

When copying or scanning/printing of a document, we get a thin black line in the middle of the page, but not if we print from the computer directly to the printer.

Please read this post then provide some details.  What printer model? If the line appears only when copying or scanning from the ADF Document (CAD) the line is almost always caused by a specification (or two) on the thin strip of glass to the left of the main scanner glass.  See here for more information on how to clean this area.  It may help to use a strong flashlight held almost flat against the glass to see the spot.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8600: Officejet Pro 8600 leaves black lines on docs scanned when using the document feeder

This is the second HP Officejet Pro 8600 I had - one was replaced by HP, after that the same issue arose.  I tried to clean the entire unit, but we still get a thin black line running vertically down the page.  This line is divided into sections of 1 "and 2.5" in length.  Sometimes I get the fine line and then almost a shadow line that is parallel.

Any suggestions would be very appreciated I have scan documents to PDF format and it's hassle to put everyone on the flat for scanning.  I use the charger of the doc on a daily basis and wonder if this could have something to do with the lines.

    Thanks for any help.

The question is a spec on thin (~ 1 "wide) glass to the left of the main bed scanner.  Clean this area as described in this document.  It can be difficult to see the affected area, a bright flashlight which is held at an angle to the glass can help find the place.  Even a very small spec on the glass can cause a black line when using the ADF.

  • 8500 A909G - Feeder causes black streaks on faxes/scans/print jobs... ONLY when you use the charger

Charger cause black streaks on faxes/scans/print jobs... ONLY when using the charger... If I put something on the glass and printing fax/scan/or it... everything's fine... it was ONLY when I use the charger... did someone come up with a solution to this problem?  Looking at the other reports, it was NOT those that have been fixed... I hope that someone can help me solve this problem, as it was NOT a printer not expensive to buy...

I'm sorry you have a problem with the vertical lines in the ADF.

Try to clean with water and lint rollers. There is also a glass of small strip (rectangular) when you lift the lid. Also clean.

  • Vertical lines in messages scanning and fax on HP 6500 a

    Hello

I have an Officejet 6500 has everything in one.

In recent weeks, when I scan a document, the only result I get is in black mode (black vertical lines all over the page).

If I use the scanning color mode I get all the lines of color on the page.

Is it a material, problem with the lamp of scanning or something else?

The machine is around the age of 5 months.

Someone at - it an idea?

The same for faxes, the same lines will appear.

This is the main reason why I guess it's a hardware problem.

    Any comments would be useful...

    Thank you very much

This could be a hardware problem and maybe also a problem of glass dirty scan.

    * First of all, I would like to try to reset the printer:

    (1) unplug the unit while it is turned

    (2) unplug the other end of the power cord from the wall jack directly

    (3) separate the power cord from the power brick in the middle of the string

    (4) wait a minute

    (5) unit rear cap for a direct decision-making power, not a surge protector.

If the lines continue, then try the steps in the document for lines/stripes in scans/copy/Fax.  Click here and select the blank copy for troubleshooting option, in this case.  Let me know how it goes.

  • Single line vertical when using the ADF to Scan or copy on HP Officejet Pro 8600

Printer HP Officejet Pro 8600 Premium (CN577A)

    OS: MS 7 64-bit

When you use the ADF for my printer HP CN577A Officejet Pro 8600 Premium, I get a single vertical line on the document which is produced. This occurs when copying or scanning, both black and white and in color. If I scan or copy using the glass, I do not get the vertical line.

I already tried troubleshooting.  I unplugged the printer, left without electricity for several minutes; that didn't fix the problem.  Then, I cleaned the rollers and glass; I always get the vertical line, but only when using the ADF.

My firmware version is up to date (CLP1CN1150CR).

    What should I check next?

The only difference between the ADF and scanning flat, from a point of view of the scanner is there on the glass, it happens.  I suggest you get a bright flashlight and examine the corresponsing area hence is the line, it's almost certainly a spot on the strip of thin glass which is being just in the right place.

I've seen some people suggest that put a flashlight almost parallel to the Strip, it shines from the bottom can highlight the area problem.
