BlackBerry 10 CalDAV 2-way synchronization lesser known suppliers.

Hello

I have an online calendar with my e-mail provider (Fastmail), I want to synchronize with my classic BB via CalDAV. I managed to get the dates of my online to the Blackberry calendar, but I can't add any appotinments on the calendar of the BB device, i.e. the link seems to be read-only. What can I do to fix this? 2-way synchronization is not supported by the operating system?

Sorry for the late reply. I run the latest version of the operating system for the classic BB.
I made these instructions by a member of the forum:
https://www.FastMail.com/help/clients/BlackBerry.html
Thanks for that!
These instructions worked perfectly.

For some reason, I thought that they would not specific instructions for BlackBerryOS, silly me. I had just put the calendar with CalDAV generic credentials, which worked only one-way.
Now, I finally have a native interface to access my synchronized calendar, Hooray!

    Hi all

Recently had to get a new Z10 to replace the previous ones due to water damage. All right, except that I am unable to get accounts caldav and carddav to synchronize. I've had these works very well with my cal icloud and contacts so cannot determine what the problem is. I have 2 step authentiaction on my icloud account so have revoked the previous passwords for caldav and carddav app and got new. However, when I enter the details he spends a long time thinking (save and check your settings) and then comes up with an error message "error in CPP transaaction with 1426087998-CardDavProvider (or similar for CalDav). Any ideas please?

Just to tell you which seems OK now although I really dn't know exactly what I did to make it work. Thinknit maybe something to do with my BB id :-)

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Hotmail 2-way synchronization

It seems that any change on my hotmail desktop is not reflected on hotmail BB ny. Is this good? I went from a hint of windows mobile sync with hotmail was almost perfect (2 channels) for my BB 8900 curve which I am very happy with little, I would say that it is the only thing disappoints me. Thks for any help.

That's right, would need you a BES having the email reflect both ways.

  • Software BlackBerry BlackBerry link does not support synchronization of locally stored contacts BB10 peripheral.

    Hi team,

I just want to know if it's true that the link of BlackBerry does not support the synchronization of the contacts that are saved locally on the BlackBerry smartphone.

    Thank you..

That is right. Cable sync with link creates a new list of contacts on the device and syncs the contacts stored in Outlook on the device and then keep their synchronization had after that.

  • Smartphone blackBerry, Outlook, error 0x80040fb3 calendar synchronization

I deleted all the calendar items on the device, even reinstalled the device software and started from scratch... Deleted Desktop 6.0 and re-installed and still will not sync.

When I go to setting and make chioces and save. He'll even get no check box for calendar data.

Very unhappy and ready to pick up the phone and get the iPhone.  What good phone without being able to sync my calendar, it's my life...

Obi - wan tried to help but already really I have tried everything that...

I fianally solved my problem but has lost a lot of hair...

Of course, I knew better and did as one-way synchronization...  So what I found the problem to be, was that I had a corrupted in my outlook calendar entry. (Or BB doesn't)  I reduced to a meeting to ask that the entries I have an assoc of sent and recurring business was once a month no end date.  I have deleted in outlook and then returned later.

How I fixed that finally had to manually remove each enrty on my BB calendar.  "Tried this thru Desktop version 6.0 by a deletion of data of calendar items and has not been successful."  Once I manually deleted all entries on the BB, and the entry of corrupt outlook has also been removed then sync like a champion...

Please note that I have not always made round-trip my outlook calendar synchronization was always at the forefront.   Sorry if you wipe your outlook :-(

  • BlackBerry Curve 8330 Smartphone will synchronize any

I am a new user of BB.  (I've been synchronize a Dell PDA with MS Outlook 03 years.)  When I try to sync the curve I get the error message "no applications configured for synchronization.

I exported the address book to a CSV file according to the instructions online.  However, I was unable to follow the instructions for importing.

I like BB, but if I can't transfer & backup data, it is of limited use.  Suggestions welcomed.

Have you already implemented "parameters to configure the synchronization for my desktop program?

If you use outlook, you should not have to export to a CSV file at all, it's more if you are synchronizing Gmail contacts or something like that. Make sure you only select what information you want to synchronize (etc contact, calendar,) and if you want a two-way synchronization (good if you add something to the device you want to back up in Outlook) or only a one-way sync (ie the device or Outlook).

If you have any other problems please post here and I'll do my best to help.

  • Two-way synchronization of Lightroom with Flickr?

I have been using Lightroom with Flickr for a long time. A certain degree of two-way synchronization between the plugin Flickr (the one that comes with Adobe Lightroom) and Lightroom is possible. For example, coomments are uploaded to Flickr. However, there are some strong limitations on this plugin:

    (1) has problems if you have a lot of Flickr photo sets then you can't keep all registered in Lightroom, but you can update after post you them on Flickr. For example if you find an error in a name or retouch a photo. This is particularly the case if you move to a new computer or do a major upgrade and lose games photo appearing on the card.

    (2) If you import pictures from another library where you've set up a Flickr album then this album not imported to Lightroom in the Flickr publish the module. The connection to Flckr is lost!

I am in no way suggest using Flickr as a backup, but it would be useful to be able to link to the existing albums in Lightroom and locate the existing files in the current library or to the list of missing persons so that the republication are then possible. If someone knows a way to get this answer please then.

Currently I use Lightroom 4.3 on a Windows 7 PC.

    Thank you
    Marcel

It's this piece from your original post that caught my attention.

According to http://regex.info/blog/lightroom-goodies/flickr/publish#populate , that he should try to link previous Flickr updated with photos in your catalog.  I don't use Flickr for a long time, so I'm not up-to-date with the current functionality.

  • Two-way synchronization of blackBerry Smartphones Gmail?

I've seen reports in a rss news feed about two way to end gmail sync and it is in the Gmail and Google Blog. I guess if I'm missing something. Are they talking about enhanced Gmail plugin that came out? Or they talk about a Gmail program update which is downloadable? Or even an upgrade to the Gmail plugin improved?

This is one of the links that I receive my information

    It is not necessary.

  • Two-way synchronization of Gmail from BIS Smartphones Verizon blackBerry?

  • BlackBerry 10 Z10 does not synchronize contacts and calendar - Google Apps and Gmail

    Dear Sirs,

I am train back to use blackberry as my mobile platform by default and so I chose Z10.

The point is that I am facing problems to sync my contacts and calendar with my Gmail and Google Apps accounts. I already tried to add accounts in several ways (by default, Gmail, Microsoft Exchange Active Sync), but without success. Just email is syncing with the failure of Gmail.

    System was updated to 10.2.1

I am a blackberry lover and was trying to leave the Android platform. Please could someone help me?

    Thank you and best regards!

Your result from step 1 is exactly as planned... the built-in Wizard GMail via IMAP, which is used for email only. To add the calendar or contacts to an IMAP configuration, you must separately configure CalDav or Mac OS x Server.

Your result, however, in step 2 should not... it is indeed the exact method to integrate a Google Apps account with BB10 device, as long as you continued this process and fill in all the mandatory fields (server name, port, account information, etc.). Carefully note please that unless you are a subscriber to pay Google Apps, this method will not work for you unless you have previously configured it on the exact device on that you are trying to configure. Google has stopped support for free consumer EAS accounts some time previously and only allows such accounts for free on devices that have been previously configured before when they stopped this support. For any new device, only real paying subscribers of Google Apps can use EAS with Google... all others are limited (by Google) to IMAP/Mac OS x Server/CalDav.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Newbie question Outlook synchronization...

I know, I know you crackberry Masters must make fun of my basic question, but it drives me crazy.

I want to curve. I'll use it for personal and business email accounts. Work email is through MS Exchange. I can access my email using Microsoft Outlook Web Access. Our server does not have this fancy/expensive Blackberry Enterprise Software Solution.

Can I still sync my email to my Blackberry Wireless and untethered work? What are the downsides to not have the fancy software / expensive?

You'll be always my friend, if you can answer this fundamental question in simple terms.

    Hi anrobb!

You will be able to receive your email wireless without the BlackBerry Enterprise Solution (BES). You can use the BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) to deliver your email. There are two ways this can be accomplished:

1-direct integration of your account Outlook Web Access (OWA). Here, you must create an BIS account and enter your information to OWA, such as the web address of the OWA server, your email address, mailbox name and password. BIS will use this information to analyze your mailbox for new messages at a time interval determined (basically every 15 minutes) and send it to all new mail he sees to your BlackBerry.

    2. create a hosted mailbox and set up a redirection rule. Most (if not all) carriers offer only a free hosted BlackBerry e-mail address when you have a BlackBerry plan. For example, a customer of Verizon could create an email [email protected]. E-mail messages that are sent to these hosted email addresses are pushed to the device, so they come almost in real time. Once you have set up, hosted email address you (or your IT staff) define a redirection rule in your mail server to forward a copy of all new messages to the hosted e-mail address. The next step would be to connect to your BIS account and modify the reply-to field to be your professional email address. This it will bring up that the emails sent from your BlackBerry come from your work email.

A difference in the use of the use of BIS on BES is that you cannot synchronize wireless your address book, calendar, notes and them tasks with BIS - you will need to connect to a computer. BES offers many other features as well, but I won't get it here.

    See you soon!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Google Apps on Blackberry BIS - domain address custom synchronize calendar or Contacts with BIS

    Hello

I need to sync my Google Apps with my Blackberry 9900 OS 7

My company moved all our emails, place to stay in Google Apps - Gmail/Contact/calendar

and we use our own domain name for our emails (for example. [email protected]) with Google Apps - Gmail

When I tried to configure my email to company (for example. [email protected]) on the BIS to setup email, they are not able to detect my email of company is a Google Apps account and I need to manually enter my mail server, which is 'imap.gmail.com '.

Only with manual configuration, I am able to properly configure my business email Google Apps with BIS account.

BUT I am still unable to sync my calendar GoogleApps and contact, because there is no OPTION for me to 'Tick '.

But with my own personal e-mail account (for example: [email protected]), I am able to sync calendar and contacts on the BIS to facility Web site.

My question is, why is there a difference? Since the two e-mail addess domain (@abc.com and @gmail.com) are with GoogleApps - Gmail service.

Hope someone in Blackberry can help to answer this question and so it will be differently will strengthen the confidence or feature added to maintain the trust of the Blackberry users.

BlackBerry® Internet Customer Service: You can configure your device using BlackBerry® Internet Service (BIS), which is part of the standard service plan for BlackBerry. And now I have the opportunity to choose what to synchronize on BIS - calendar or Contacts.

LWOP necessary to update their MX records to allow custom using GoogleApps domain to be connected through the same way "Gmail.com" domain is connected via BIS.

Hope this clear to GoogleApps calendar and contacts Sync with BIS questions.

    * Do not forget to also enable/active calendar and contacts on your GoogleApps and only calendar and contacts of parimary parimary is able to synchronize with the server, once the NOC has helped your custom on their MX records domain.

  • Address book - blackBerry Smartphones change the field "synchronize using.

    Hello world

I recently changed my primary Gmail account on my blackberry (from [email protected] to [email protected]).

I have a problem with sync'ing with my address book.

All of my old contacts are synchronized via [email protected]

And now, I would have them Sync with [email protected]

In every Contact form, I discovered there is a synchronization field to aid which is filled with the google account. Unfortunately, you cannot change this field.

Y at - it an easy and fast way to mass - change (the field sync using) all my old contacts sync with my new gmail account?

I tried with importers and exporters of gmail to gmail, but I lose my contacts photos. I cannot accept this solution because I have more than 500 contacts and 90% of them have an image.

So I'm asking if someone has an idea to solve this problem.

    Thanks in advance

    Thanks for your reply.

But I decided I'm going to do it by hand and transfer between gmail via vcf file transfer account.

It's a real pain in the * because I know that have to redo all the links between linkedin/facebook and my address book. And also photos of contacts. It would have been very happy to be able to mass change the field "to sync using"

There is therefore no real solution to solve my problem except to waste a lot of time by hand.

But I'll post another topic for a question than a problem with the synchronization of contacts and photos

  • BlackBerry Z10 Yahoo e-mail synchronization

Can receive & send email OK Yahoo.

But computer does not delete emails after that I deleted the phone.

Any ideas. What a nuisance having to delete twice.

    Thank you very much

    Here's what I'd do.

First of all, check the settings on the device. Go to the hub, tap the icon of three points down right, select settings, select display and Actions and look at the setting for delete on. Make sure that it is set to Hub and the server.

In addition, to return to the settings, select accounts, then Yahoo. Tap the pencil down to the Center. Scroll down and look at the synchronization interval. If it is set to manual, you can change it to something like an hour, or anything that is reasonable for you.

Then do tests. When you delete an email on the device, tap the lower right three icons and select Refresh. Then log in on Yahoo email on a computer with a desktop browser. If you have only the device, connect to Yahoo email on Yahoo mobile site using the BlackBerry browser. I recommend only using a desktop browser for ease of use for this task.

When you use a browser to access Yahoo mail, check the box of reception and deleted folder items to see where the email. If all goes well, of course, can be found in the deleted folder.

If the deleted email is still in the Inbox, wait a few moments and refresh the browser to see if the email has been moved to the deleted items folder. Wait for the duration of the synchronization interval setting and a little more.

If email deleted never sync of the device and Yahoo, delete Yahoo account on the device, restart the device and add the Yahoo account again. Test again as described above.

Assuming that syncing email between the device and Yahoo, and you go to Yahoo email on the computer using an email client, and then study the e-mail on the computer and the test as stated above client.

If deleted e-mail never sync is between the device and the client, so I live with it or use another e-mail service that syncs with reliability, such as Microsoft Outlook.com.

  • Software BlackBerry Blackberry link no long only synchronize with Outlook 2013

My BB Q10 cannot synchronize calendar and Contacts to link BB, because it finds no more prospects.

I have a Lenovo desktop with 10 Windows (64-bit) and 2013 Office. I had office 365 before but had to uninstall because of a technical problem. Since I downloaded Office (and Outlook) 2013 the BB link does not recognize Outlook as an option to sync more.

    Hi Marcel

As far as I know from reading the discussions in this forum and in the Microsoft support Web site, Outlook 2010 is compatible for Contacts and Calendar sync with BlackBerry link on Windows 10. I am using Outlook 2007 on Win10. But I use Outlook.com as master of my Contacts to sync and backup purposes. That's why I encourage you to try outlook.com and you'll like it.
