  Is there is no data, then simply enter the wrong password 10 times. The device will wipe away and you can start over.

  Somehow, you set a password. I don't know how, but you did. There is no 'default' password it defines. Which would defeat the purpose of having a password.

  I recently changed my Blackberry on the Z10 account, and I proceeded to do a security wipe. After that, the connection to the computer icon was displayed on the phone. So, I looked on the internet for a solution and kept the same finding: KB33480.

  So, I went with the steps, starting with the Blackberry link approach. Having said I reset the phone, he would have check for updates and tell me that:
  "There is no available BlackBerry Device Software updates."

  Here, the light of my phone is green.

  The update password verification of updates, then goes straight to the no updates found screen instead of installing the software on the phone. Can someone help me please?

  Hey everybody. I got my Z10 work after 11 grueling hours trying to fix it. The key to implementation is to make sure that you have installed INTERNET EXPLORER 9 . Other iterations are not guaranteed, and they never worked for me once. I found a computer in my home that I was able to install IE9 on cleanly, then ran workaround. He worked at the beautfully. I'm now enjoying my Z10 a lot.

  Hi all.  I'm new to this forum, but certainly not new to Blackberry devices.  I had a playbook before my z10 and I know that the two are not at all similar, but I like Blackberry interface.  I read a lot of posts here on the drainage of the battery and overheating and the phone restarts several times, and I had all these problems.  Recently, after reading here and trying to get a grip on what to do with my z10, I called my cell phone provider technical support to see what they had to offer advice.  I live in the Canada, Telus is my provider and they said either on send to get or replace the battery or both battery and motherboard replaced like who could fix the overheating problem.  My phone overheat in the upper left corner of the phone, but only when I play a game that I downloaded on the android market as 1mobile market.  In general, it is a racing game where the screen is affected much.  I noticed that the back of the device overheating also and this worries me greatly as I wonder if my phone is going to explode in my hands!  I did a cleanup of security and has not been successful in restoring the last backup I made before is erased.  In some way my Blackberry ID and password was not accepted when I put my phone again.  It's frustrating.  But now I always get the overheating problem and my battery life is not great, that it was better before erasure.  Weird.  I ask some advice if I should send the phone or to swap with another since I was still under the 1 month to own this phone?  I have till next week Monday a decision, because it is when my replacement z10 phone is supposed to be in my Telus in my store.  Thanks in advance to all.

  At the end of a day recently, I tested, did not use wifi, no games, no cell data, and my battery had fallen to 30% while having the phone and SMS language. Before I start my day, the phone is fully charged. Technical support told me that isn't normal.

  I have BB 9860 with OS v7.0.0.353 and I want to upgrade to OS 7.1. It's unlocked phone and everytime I try to update the OS using Desktop Manager he said "There is no Blackberry Device Software Update"

  I'm sure OS7.1 is out and I can use it for my device. Don't know how to do this.

  The first question - Virgin Mobile Canada isn't 9860 device in the product list, I guess that they do not have this device.

  However, I got lucky today I plugged my camera into my computer one another which was never used with device prior to desktop manager and it made my day as soon as the device has been connected, it showed an OS update is available.

  Follow these steps to clear your locked watch and re-pair it with your iPhone:

  • Connect your watch to its charging cable - with power connected.
  • Hold down the side button until you see the cursor off the power.
  • Press firmly (IE more firmly than usual) on Power Off and then press erase content and settings.
  • Then re-pair your watch by using the app shows on your iPhone, choose restore backup when the possibility.

  Be aware of a very important some limitations and restrictions.

  First of all, this version, as you know already, is a developer version... so there are a lot of functions that is intentionally disabled.   The last sentence talking about version 4.0 of JDE. I think that would mean that I could not develop a java application on JDE 6.0 for Blackberry 5.0 version of the software, even if I do not use any new API to 6.0.   I'm going to agree with superdirt here.

  I have the 5.0 OS update of applications work well on OS 5.0, 6.0 and 7.0 of the OS OS phones.  I try not to recompile for levels of the OS, if I can, and so far I've been perfectly safe with OS 5.0 running on the later levels of the operating system.  So you should be able to get away with just using OS 5.0.

  Not that it is important for you, but I just thought I documents some historical information about level changes.  .

  As far as I know it 2 change cod in the file format, one to the 4.0 OS and the other in OS 4.2.  Therefore, if you want to run anything in OS 6.0 or above, it must be compiled in OS 4.2 or higher.  Again, I have applications compiled to OS 4.2 running on OS 6.0, without no problem devices.

  There have been changes to the API - the result is that the code that works in OS xx does not work in OS yy where yy is after xx.  I hit a few of them and have so far managed to rework the code so that it works very well on both levels of the operating system.  In general it is things that I do wrong anyway, as the older operating systems (from memory) are not as strict on when the event Thread must be used.

  The problem with OS 4.7 compatibility is an impact and to get more of this, for devices touch screen only, I compile using OS 4.7.  If an application that uses only the functionality that was available in the OS 4.2, I compile on OS 4.2 for non touch screen phones and OS 4.7 for touchscreen phones.  And everything works fine.

  I tried to connect my mobile with blackberry link on my mac, and then, when it does not recognize my camera, even if I checked my id bmackberry is correct, I then tried Blackberry mixture. It has expired and would not open the connection.

  So I finally gave up and disconnected.

  As usual, I opened my phone and put in my pin code sim, everything beautiful and then I slipped the screen as usual my password to four digits. Upward is a warning that I had put in the wrong password already 5 times? So I tried to put it in, and the screen does not respond. It is frozen and it still says: I am 6/10.  It does not react. I tried to take out the battery and put it again, but still the same.

  Please someone advise me. I don't want to lose my data. That's why I tried mix of Blackberry in the first place, to make a backup!

  I found the solution. On the usual place where I put my password, it said enter 'Blackberry '. What I had ignored because it wasn't my password. Now, with all the options are exhausted, I did exactly that and the screen came with password, and it worked normally! Thank God! My laptop won't recognize the Blackberry mixture.  After this experience, I'm not sure I want to trust him. Does anyone have advice for finding the right way to use the mix of Blackberry? I have Mac Pro yosemite.  All I want is to do a simple backup to not lose my docs and contacts.

  Firstly I want to correct is that BlackBerry mixture is not used to back up BlackBerry devices.

  Now, what I propose is to uninstall BlackBerry link and mix into your computer and download a new installer, and install it. In this process, open the first link of BlackBerry. • Eclipse pluging 1.1 - "debug as Blackberry device".

  I installed eclipse 1.1 pluging. Looks like it works more stable and faster.

  When I chose "Debug under"-> "Blackberry Device", IDE builds, signs, and download bionary on device. Cool!

  But due to the update of the app, the appliance resets and IDE cannot debug.

  Why the plugin is unable to wait for the reset? Can it be fixed?

  I was able to replicate this and it will apply to less than 5.0 BlackBerry device software.  Here is what actually happens:

  Debug as-> device BlackBerry deploys the application on your BlackBerry Smartphone and attaches it to the debugger.  However, replacing the application can cause the device reset, which disconnects the debugger.

  The workaround is to uninstall the existing application (Options, Applications) prior to a "Debug As-> BlackBerry Device", which will prevent the reset.
