  Please, I wonder if someone will have a solution to my problem BBM, I currently use my blackberry on a wiFi connection at home that I have completed my contract with my network provider (virgin). The BBM, applications ( yahoomessenger, Windows Live, AIM, talk) IM, my facebook apps and blackberry world were all works well even with different WiFi. But recently, I am unable to use all the above applications mentioned above all my BBM as I needed it hard to communicate. At first, I thought it was the internet connection at home but I found the browser and two other applications that I work perfectly.   You are able to use BBM before this update without any problem?

  If you are then try reinstalling BBM who may help, do that on your homescreen go to Options > device > application management > delete BlackBerry Messenger in the list.

  After deletion to perform a battery pull reboot by removing the battery while your unit is powered and then wait a min.  and reinsert back.

  After a recent upgrade of my BBM icon label changed to net.rim.bb and when I click to send a BBM I get tell screen: Eception missing Exception of resource files.  How can I fix this?  I am running OS 6.0 Bundle 2647.

  With a network carrier signal strong, I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... ( Please wait for this before moving on to the next step) :

  (1) registry HRT

  • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
  • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

  (2) Service reference books

  • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
  • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

  (3) restart to take batt

  • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  I've updated BBM from version 7 to 7.0.1. After the reboot, I found that my BBM was gone. I checked my world in Blackberry World, to see that it is installed, but it was gone. So I had all my BBM Messages messages. Make a restore from a previous backup has not resolved the problem, 7.0.1 remained.
