• Browser blackBerry Smartphones has cuts/white blanks?

  My Torch 9800 is three months old now, and last week, the browser started to act weird. In any website I'll twitter, yahoo homepage or tumblr, there's always the whitespace or cuts that doesn't let me see the whole page. Is not that a Cup, I scroll down there will be white discounts every now and then.  It is not something bad internet connection either, I tried to test it located next to our router with full signal and always the page load like that.

  It is not a centre for Blackberry here in the Philippines and the closest is Hong Kong or Singapore. The telecom brand I got the phone to advised me to try to reset my phone back to the factory settings, while perhaps this glitch could clarify. I asked them if it was something that could be solved by putting up-to-date or is the result of accidentally change some options of the phone. In the end they told me back toward the top of my phone, it brings them so they could restore it to factory settings, bad comes to worse that he is still not back to normal, since it is still under warranty, they'll gladly give me a new.

  ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS? It has something to do with the update? lack of storage space? accidentally change browser options/settings?

  I know you said you tried some things, but I don't know if you've done these steps exactly. Therefore, I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

  (1) registry HRT

  • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
  • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

  (2) remove and return Service directories

  • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
  • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
  • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
  • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

  (3) restart to take batt

  • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your BIS configuration for these accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

  Normally, it's quite intentional. For security reasons, password reset emails are not delivered to the BB. Instead, you must be able to access this account of e-mail (the one registered to BIS) from somewhere else.   I don't know if the GPS works at all the or not depends on whether the carrier allows him. But even if they do, it can be quite risky. I have Verizon in the United States and subscribe to the GPS service. I think it's pretty good - when it works. The biggest problem is that every four or five days about it does connect to GPS in the service of Verizon GPS signals, nothing else that the error messages "can not connect", and I do the reset drill "remove the battery and let it sit for a very long time" in order to resume service. Oddly, it's going to walk very well on Google Maps in this condition, but not on the traditional GPS. • Email from blackBerry Smartphones has stopped and the icon at the top

  Somehow, somehow my phone became not connected to the mobile network.  I noticed it because I stopped doing e-mails from my 2 accounts.  So I reconnected it, and I don't seem to receive emails again.  There is also a small oval blue icon vertical at the top right under the bar signal and next to the icon, he says 1xev.  I don't think I've seen this before and am wondering two things... How do I diagnose the situation by e-mail and this icon has something to do with anything either?

  Here are a couple of things to try.

  First things first, start with a basic battery pull, just in case (it is the best way to solve most of the problems).  Open the back, remove the battery for about 15-30 seconds, plug the battery back and let the phone restarts.  Then see if it works.  If this is not the case, proceed to the next step.

  Then, go to Options (the icon) > Mobile network and check to make sure that the network selection Mode is set to automatic and that network technology is set to 1XEV.  In some cases, it can go to Global, which can cause problems (when I went to Global, my signal went from 1XEV to 1xev - I went back and I had full signal within 20 seconds).

  Then, re - register your phone on the BlackBerry network - go to Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table and press the BB menu button and select Save now.  Final step is to return your Service books.  If you have access to your BIS account, go to settings > e-mail settings.  Sign in to your account, press the BB menu button and select this option to send Service directories.  If you do not have this capability, call your carrier and ask them to do it for you, or if you are on a BES network, ask your BES administrator.

  This should get you operational, but if not, let know us.  And if this does not work, let us know what worked not for future reference!  Good luck!

  As for the vertical blue icon, is there something a and B in there?  If so, this is the bluetooth icon.  You can disable this option via the icon manage networks.

  Do this now. Remove the battery for at LEAST 3 days and put the device in a bag of uncooked dry rice. He's going to soak up moisture.

  An alternative to rice, is leave the unit with the battery removed, sitting at 3 days on top heat emitting an electronic device, such as a cable box, stereo amplifier, something with dry heat.

  The recovery key is the several days without putting the battery to check it out.

  Remember, electricity plus water is not good.

  A strange thing happened while I was out and about yesterday. I rarely use my case, but yesterday when I decided to use it and took my phone out of the Holster to looked as if it was turned off?  I tried to turn it back on and it wouldn't turn on? Maybe was my phone in hibernation mode? Only after a battery pull I have it back to normal again?  Is it possible to get a phone from hibernation? My phone has never done this before!  I was almost ready to do CPR on this thing

  Looks like the unit may have just got locked up, similair to when a computer crashes and you have it reboot. The BlackBerry has a standby mode, but she turned on/off via the sleep button / Mute on the upper left corner of the device. Mine is it once from time to time a d a battery pull back to working condition.
