• After have logged you on you yahoo this am, my calendar and Notepad have disappeared. When I click on it I just get a white screen. I'm not very computer and need help getting them back.

  Im having problems with my windows update. I used to be able to post updates there, and I was free in the choice of updates I wanted to install. However since last week that I was not able to choose which updates, I want to install! As you can see from the photos below, I don't have a lot of updates, but when I click on the link "26 important updates are available." I just get a screen white as shown below as well.

  I have just (blindly) click on "Install updates", but I would see that they are first.

  I would like to ask you a few questions to help focus in the right direction:

  Since when you receive this error message? Have you made changes to your system?

  Try the following steps:

  Step 1:

  Put the computer in a clean boot (namely if any third-party software hinders the process)

  How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

  Check with step 1 (run a clean boot):-If everything works well after a clean boot, you can deduce that some third-party services are at the origin of the problem.

  Continue with the remaining steps to pin-point on the third party service.

  (Note: after find you the problem causing the program, you will have to perhaps to update or install a newer version of the program and also don't forget to put the computer to a normal startup)

  Step 2:

• Tutorial flash videos does not work - I just get a white screen

  Yesterday, I rebooted a few autonomous education on my computer tutorials. These tutorials are .exe and make use of Adobe's Flash files. Instead of getting the video tutorials to come as usual, I get a blank white screen in the window that appears. When I right-click on this screen, it says "movie not loaded...". "I checked the version of Adobe flash player installed on my PC and it is 20.0.0.267.

  I completely removed flash from my computer and reinstalled, I followed the recommended troubleshooting steps, such as turning off hardware acceleration and clear cache Adobe, etc., but this doesn't seem to help.

  Looks like you may have a virus or other malware. Get your updated antivirus program and boot into Safe Mode.   Hi using Vista for a while now, 4 years, no probs real.  Then two days the PC crashes, and trying to restart the option repair (recommended) came, or start Windows normally, selected repair option, opens Windows screen, then a mouse pointer and that is it, have tried all the options by using the form F8 but never went to the same point, can not use safe mode , don't be filled disc no at all to repair or reload.  Impossible to get even at command proment unless I'm missing a way to get this up on the screen.
