  If you do not have access to the email that you used for your BlackBerry ID, then you hit, your carrier fails to resolve it for you, now you have a limited option. Need to change your BlackBerry ID, so first make a backup of your device using Desktop software, then follow this Knowledge Base:

  I am running Windows Vista and when I put the BB user Tools CD in the computer and try to run it I get a message not responding.  I tried several times without success.  Download just BB site or is it more on the CD?

  Whenever random strange behaviors creep, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  I installed some of the BB improvements today and now all my icons at the top of my screen disappeared. If I take my battery and restart my phone they appear and disappear after a while.

  Thanks for helping out me that succeeded in itself solve the problem. It was the Blackberry Protect application that caused the problem. I deleted the app and everything appeared again and has not disappeared

  Re-installed the application thereafter, and now its working fine and all my icons are visible again

  My phone only rings 3 times before going to voicemail.

  I thing your carrier have not activated BlackBerry data Plan aka BIS on your account. BIS is different from a data plan normal, a normal data plan you will navigate on the internet but will not give access to the BlackBerry application. So I prefer to give you a call to T-Mobile for re - confirm whether or not they had allocated BIS on your account.

  When BlackBerry data plans are enabled on your device, and then click Manage connections > Service status > = BlackBerry Internet Service it will be " Mobile network ".

  Then call T - Mobile and let us know about your updates.

Last weekend I had turned it off and today when I turn, device starts download of mail e-mail, but all the email appears with the date and time when it is inserted in the device. I have to open each email to see the real date and time what's happened to the mailbox.

  This is the way of design. Incoming messages will always have a time stamp from the moment they are delivered to a BlackBerry.

  I had this same problem.  It appeared to start (timer stop working) when I tried to install some 3rd party applications supported.

  The process of recovery for me was to erase the Organizer.

  I conncected first BB storm to my computer.

  Launch the Blackberry Desktop Manager

  Click the backup and restore

  Click on the backup on the backup device.

  Once the backup is complete, on the device, go to Options, Security Options, General settings.  Press the "berry" on the device, select "Wipe Handheld".

  There were two options where I could choose the wipe type I wanted.  I chose that one would have left my only applications installed.

  When the erase is complete, connect to the computer and run Blackberry Desktop Manager and perform the restore operation.

  In my case, before I did the restore operation, I checked the timer to see if it worked (it was).  After the data is restored, it still worked.

  While I'm not (yet!) a specific article, my memory is that each BB user can only view and manage their own calendar of the BB. As a result, the delegate cannot manage the other their own BB, calendar.

  Sorta, Yes.

  You can wipe the device of all your personal information and get back to almost a factory as parameters... Options > Security > Security > Security Wipe.

  If your phone is locked to O2, and he uses it on Tmoible, it will have to be unlocked for use on another carrier. See instructions and the links below.

  Then, he will need the BlackBerry data Plan on his Tmobile account and have registered for use on Tmobile THAT PIN/IMEI device. You must have the device PIN and IMEI released from your OS account.

  Hi I've heard, read and seen reports that the Bold 9700 boots/boot is 'slow' in less than 3 minutes for a smartphone compared to a similar specced to do elsewhere.

  I never said anything about music and files on the press card.

  I only said that the more 3rd party applications installed longer it takes to start up.  It's just the way of java is.  The device must read each of these java .cod files when it starts up.  The more therre are to read, the longer it takes.  If youre device takes several minutes to start, then everything is normal.  It's just the way it is.

I see so many people with similar problems, but no answers... my problem is: most of my friends who have a bb10 cannot open my bbm messages. whenever I have send a message and they try to open it it blanks off-farm their entire bbm dwn and brings back them to the home on their phone screen. but I'm not getting a red x, I get a tick, D & R (as they attempt to open the msg it marks it R on my bbm) also my profile picture is empty on my bbm friends once this happens.   I did a cleanup of security and who worked for a while, but as soon as I reinstalled 3 possibilities - bb trip, accu weather and whatsapp, it began to do the same thing again. I recently installed accu weather but the others I've had for years, even if I installed accu weather there is at least a month.
