Blue print in all colors
Good evening, everyone.
I have a printer J4680 AIO that I had for a while. Last night, I installed the new ink and ran a test page and it looked ok, but when I went to print a chart, I noticed that the colors were COMPLETELY shut down.
I went online and print a test page which includes all colors including shade and hue of these colors.
The result is... interesting...
The yellow is a lime.
Red is a deep blood red
Magenta is magenta, but deeper... almost purple in hue
Black is fine
The Green is very good.
Blue is fine
Cyan is fine
What it boils down to, is that cyan is printing in all colors.
Anyone had this happen and have any idea of a resolution for this? I do a lot of graphic design and when I am doing a project that does not require my printer super high resolution (aka REALLY expensive of ink), I need it to be precise.
EDIT:
I should mention that I use ink official HP (901) so I know it is not the question (or shouldn't be).
Be troubleshooting steps described here can help, it seems that you have in the mixture of the color cartridge. It is unlikely that running a cleaning cycle will solve this problem, you will probably need a new cartridge. You can check the warranty on the cartridge (valid even if the printer is no longer guaranteed) as indicated in the paper here.
A new cartridge will almost certainly fix the problem.

printer is, BUT only with black and blue, all other diagnoses print with all colors
Initially, the installation of the printer REFUSED to align, took 7 attempts (OK, I've heard of Einstein quote!). Whenever I used the printer to ALIGNER PRINTER screen - the process has failed. So I looked on the web, and:
Clean the cartridges,
Erased the vents
Removed and cleaned the print head
Prayed
Tried again
To nothing not done, so I tried to make the diagnosis via PC software and here deepened the mystery.
When the HP Photosmart B210 series Toolbox running I got three different results between the three print options
A Diagnostics Page of print quality gave me five Ba's maximum color printing
Align the print heads gave me the black and blue boxes/lies/grids and the message alignment successful
The print Diagnostic information gave me all four colors with a lot of useful info, including the print head 73 calibration trust level: 0
Ideas anyone, before I bin it and buy a Kodak or disgusted Epson
What exactly is the problem? Alignment aligns the print head color to the black print head, and black and one color (cyan for your printer) are required for this. (There is probably an extra set of blocks that prints gray blocks fade to white. This section is used to calibrate the energy for the colors). The other test pages that you printed will be print various diagnoses or test pages that will use all colors.
A successful alignment page requires the page be printed on white paper not used and requires that the cyan and black sections print correctly.

Print all colors with the exception of cyan, so blue and green print under rose. I have cleaned the nozzles according to the instructions, there is a lot of ink in each cartridge and it worked a few days ago.

LaserJet M750dn: LaserJet M750 light print in all colors
I printed the print quality troubleshooting pages and all the colors are uniformly low (no streaks or lines). I checked to make sure that the printer was connected to the wall and not a surge protector. I have cleaned the inside, checked the contacts of high voltage and ran the Windows Laser cleaning procedure. I also ran a full calibration. None of this has worked. Then I went in pre-launch and cleaned the disc then updated the firmware to the last 2305090_000473.
The client uses the brand HP toners. The transfer Kit is 90% and in good shape, so it is hard to imagine that it is defective. Should I try one or both power supplies high voltage? There a PCA HV of imagery and a secondary transfer HV ACP? Who would try? Or both?
I replaced the secondary transfer HVPS to solve the problem. So happy that the repair has been resolved.

OfficeJet 6500 new black cartridge installed, but print Brown (all colors) instead
Hello
I replaced the black cartridge in my OfficeJet 6500, and clicking on it. (I triple checked it.) However, when I try to print a document that is supposed to be any black ink, it prints in a Brown shade as if it is mix inks instead of using black-colored. I printed a diagnostic page, cleaned and alignment of the heads of print and even restarted the computer and the printer. Nothing helps! I am still at work and I have documents that need to be printed!
Do you have any suggestions?
Thank you!
What operating system do you have? For Windows 7, you would go to start, devices and Printerss, right-click on the Officejet 6500 and then select Printing Preferences. You can change the setting 'document Type' in the tab 'Features', then click on apply.
The above will change the default value. You can also change the print to a particular print job by selecting the print properties when you go to print.

I have an OfficeJet Pro L7590
I tried to print something with a clip, but the colors were incorrect. I then used the align printing functionality and it printed yellow, magenta and black but not cyan. I changed the cyan cartridge (even if she did not show empty on the Panel), but even once it does not print on the cyan. I don't know what steps I can take to fix this problem. Your help would be very appreciated.
Thank you.
Looks like you have a dead cyan printhead. I'm sorry.

HP Deskjet 6122:6122 prints all colors
My HP 6122 printer prints all colors. I put new cartridges in three. Printed black and blue only. Another print clear yellow, pink and black. A black and in some parts of the document print prints a pink light. I cleaned the cartridges and also cleaned a part (don't know the name) inside the right which has 4 grooves. He had many top ink and I can see at the bottom of the printer when there seems to be a lot of ink.
Any suggestions on how to solve this problem. Our State is no more long to individual printers at our offices; only network printers. However, if we have one in our office we can use it until it no longer works. I won't give up on this printer.
In addition, if color printing cannot be resolved, is there a way so that it will print in black only. I tried to find where it change but had no success. Our COMPUTER technician could not help...
Thank you.
You could try printing in grayscale: HP Deskjet, Officejet and Photosmart printers and all-each change of printing in Windows 7 settings.

Ideas?
Hi @KFDLou,
Please try these steps and getting back to me.
As indicated in the document "If there are still defects on the page after the print head has been cleaned once, go to solution to replace one or two print heads."
Solution 6: replace one or two print headsIf you have done all the troubleshooting steps and you are still experiencing a problem, replace the printhead. -
5512: 5512 printer will not print black - 3 of all colors print correctly
Hello
The 5512 will not print black. New cartridge installed. Clean print head run more than 5 times without problem. There was many 5512 'no black printing problem' not noticed on this forum with many courses of resolution. I followed the instructions found on so many comments, but unfortunitely, the problem still exist. I noticed there were some done private view so I don't know that there is a similar problem that needs to be processed offline. Thanks in advance for any help provided.
Thank you all for the suggestions.
Nothing has worked for don't solve the "no black ink.
So, I took the print head of cart and carefully protected the small circuit board on the back side. There is a large accumulation of ink on the bottom of the Assembly. I sat the nozzles at the bottom of the distribution of very hot water and allowed some time to soak. From there on, I used carefully some fabric material and q-tips to wipe the nozzles. Then I got very hot water, and he ran to the top of the side of the Assembly to the screens and through the nozzles. This effort lead to a very large discharge of ink black and color. I dried the Assembly and reassembled the transport to the printer. Placed all the cartridges back in, ran clean printhead once and then guess what? the printer now prints black and color inks better than he has in years.
Total time needed to perform this cleanup was less than 30 minutes from start to finish.
Good luck to all of you who have this problem.
Before the rampage of the printer, it is interesting to try this fix.
Good luck!

All colors but black yellow print
I'm printing to a QuadCore intel mac running 10.6.8 an HP2600n from a few days ago, each doc print from my mac for this printer that has all colors other than yellow what looks black. It happens with all programs and MS Word documents, Preview & Acrobat. They look fine on the screen, but don't not when printing. If I send a doc to my colleague, it can print from their computer very well.
I installed the drivers for the printer, but it did not help. Any suggestions?
Thank you!
Ok
what you can try is to remove the old driver software print and then replace HP driver by using the Apple software updates.
Open preferences system, print, and fax - and command, then click the name of the printer queue. System should ask if you want to reset the printing system. I do not know if you have any other connected printers, but be aware that if you say yes, it will remove all your queues from the printer and the driver files.
If you deleted files (reset) the printer driver, then you can "Add printer" and the system should prompt you to download driver from Apple
the process above it seems you reasonable?
