Burn / write in WMP 12 speed

Does anyone know the approximate Burn / write in WMP 12 other speed that:-the fast, fast, medium or slow.

I only ask that I cannot burn an Audio CD with the reader of CD/DVD that will play on my Hi Fi system, but can burn playable Audio CD on old stand alone ASUS onboard recorder.

Hello

Burn speed changes how fast your disc is burned and will not affect the final product. Combustion speed depends on how fast your burner is. This takes a little more time, but help prevent ignores and does not burn (including waste essentially a disk). The slower burning speeds are best for playback in car stereos or older devices with protection features lower jump.
Audio CD hold 80 minutes of music regardless of the size of the file in megabytes. For example, regardless of if your burn list consists of songs from 1Mo encoded at 96 Kbps or 3 MB songs encoded at 196 Kbps - all that matters, it's how long the songs are.

Burning speed: it is not usually necessary to set the burn speed unless you encounter problems in the fire; in this case, reduce the burn speed may fix the problem. This setting applies to all burners that you use with your computer.

  • CD/dvd burner writes correctly, but displays the error message ' medium not present-tray closed. - 0X023A01'.

    Hello

I have a unique problem where my cd/dvd burner burn my data to a recordable cd (not verified with recordable dvd yet) correctly, but after the burning process I get an error message "(devMediumNotPresent_TrayClosed) closing session error (Session: 4 medium not present-tray closed. - 0X023A01'.)"

I tried roxio and nero, cdburnerxp, but I get this error on the whole. However, the burn is successful. I can open the data burned in my laptop or other computers and use the same drive to burn more data in the other computer. I tired to reduce speed, but it is of no use. I have also reinstalled the drivers but no use at the end I also did a clean uninstall of Roxio-> then installed Nero-> Nero clean uninstall-> then install Cdburnerxp 4.3.2.2140.

Use the same media brand in my desktop LG cd/dvd combo drive, and things are absolutely perfect.

    Hello

I got my ODD back to normal. The simple solution was to clean the lens of the drive. I called a Dell technician. He inspected the car and found that the problem was due to an unclean lens. In fact, I have never cleaned the lens since I bought the laptop in February 2008. I used a lens cleaner with 6 brushes Writex.

I also checked the drive by
    1. create a Live CD: Ubuntu
    2. a burned DVD
3 burn a different brand CD

Above all 3 tasks are normally carried out with any error. The player read / written correctly.

  • Burn a CD at higher speed?

    Hello

did not burn first CD in awhile... I tried to burn to a few programs, but lets stick with Windows Media Player, I've always found was one of the most easy to use applications. That's my problem... I created everything to start the engraving of the ADC title. (Audio disc) But in past I could always choose the bitrate, I wanted. Usually 120 or 160, although you could go lower I think. In any case, I've always used a160 Bit Rate. Now it seems that when burning a CD (Audio CD), I don't have a choice of search flows! Am I missing something? Is the higher rate 160, the default bit bit and you can not change? Please help me... Am I missing something? (In addition, any on the situation HERE, but even burn with Itunes or a couple of free burners I tried.)

    Thank you

  • CD burner to upgrade for DVD/CD Burner writer on 2005 Dell XPS 400

Hello. I have a hard time with my update of the DVD/CD burner on my XPS 400 desktop Tower. It's a workaholic and work PC has a 3.0 Ghz dual-core, 64-bit processor and plenty of RAM. I bought a new ASUS DVD/CD writer (compatibility problem?) and an adapter to convert from IDE to SATA. Windows does not recognize the new hardware. It is not in the BIOS or Device Manager. I tried all possible 'fix - it' I could find online, and nothing works! In a Tech forum, someone said that the IDE to SATA can be bad? I do not know. Is there a specific CD/DVD writer should I buy for this year, brand and model of turn Dell? Is it ASUS we may be incompatible?  There used to be only a CD burner, which worked well. It also has a CD Rom/DVD drive, that work fine, but now it does not work after you install the new burner.
    Frustrated.
    Does anyone have answers here?

Attach one end of a cable to SATA data to a SATA port on the motherboard and the other end into the connector on the back of the new burner SATA data. You will also need to connect the burner to the power supply. Finally, ensure that the SATA port is enabled in the BIOS.

  • Pause between tracks when burning CD using WMP.

When I burn a CD that contains songs that flow into each other (ie: live music), I noticed a short pause between tracks.  How can I avoid this?

    Hi twozillas,

Some CD, when some of their songs are ripped, can include one or more seconds of silence in the music file ripped after the end of the music. Other CD may include gaps of silence at the beginning of some songs. Many CD marks the beginning and the end of the songs with the introduction and the end of his audible on each track. The Player automatically adds a gap of two seconds between songs when burning audio CDs to avoid the next song begins immediately after the end of the previous song. Gaps of silence extra included in the CDS ripped music files can create, inconsistent pauses between songs. Since the pause of two seconds of the Player cannot be disabled, the only way to solve this problem is to use an audio file editor to remove the gaps of silence in the recordings of the song themselves.

  • Can't burn CD in Windows 7 on WMP

I had a problem for a while burning CDs on WMP.

I use Windows 7, and the reader/writer is a Samsung SH - S222A ATA. It is a new drive, because I thought that the problem could be with my old drive, but for the same problem of being both makes me think that the drive is not the problem.
I searched in various online forums and tried to uninstall the and reinstall the player, I am trying to record on the slowest speed, but without success.
I select the tracks and confirm there is enough space on the CD to save. Bar % then goes 0% burning burning 99% and ejects the disc (which is still blank).
I tried recording through Windows Explorer and also tried other burners, which I have now deleted from the computer, but without success with them either.
Can anyone help with this please?
    Thank you very much

  • The attempt to burn disc failed.  Burning failed because of a medium write error.

Created playlist, click the File command: "Burn playlist to CD."  Burn insiders, but after two pieces had been registered, eject disk automatically with the message: "the attempt to burn disc failed. Burning failed because of a medium write error. "Burning speed was set to 8 x.

Recent history: previously, I successfully burned two disk at maximum speed, but it took hours to write the tracks on the disc!

Using the highest speed it shouldn't take hours to write a disc.

Have you tried a good quality disc?  I bought cheapo discs in the past and had 50% failure on me during combustion and 25% success fail to try to replicate.

You can try a disk cleanup drive. Slot loaders act as vacuums for dust.  Yet, I would not hold for a large part using a.

You provide details on your computer. I'm guessing that it is 5 + years old, which means that you could easily be in place for a replacement drive (or buy an external one).

  • Tecra A4: Bad DVD Firmware? Burning speed only 2 x

    Hello!
    I have a laptop Tecra A4 with a Matsu * a s UJ - 831 (firmware: 1.02) DVD burner.
    The speed of this burner is 8 x dvd - r dvd + r.

But the new media in the market can only burn through 2 x speed.
I tested different media e.g. Verbatim, TDK, Fuji - but more than 2 x burnspeed is not available.

Is this a firmware issue? What can I do to a better burning speed?

    Hello

What burning software do you use?
To my knowledge of many burning software supports a clean burning speed.
The application recognizes the middle and trying to burn it with more consistent speed.

I use Nero, and to my knowledge, this program supports this recognition of the speed.

  • How can I fix C00D199F error code when trying to burn a CD with Windows Media player.

Original title: How can I fix C00D199F error code

Error message when trying to burn a cd with Windows Media Player

    Hello

    1. what version of Windows Media Player do you use?

    2. the specific issue of burning CD using WMP?

    3. What is the exact full error message?

    4. what you are trying to burn?

    5. is the specific question on the disk?

Method 1: You can run the fixit available in the link below and

Your CD or DVD drive cannot read or write media

    http://support.Microsoft.com/GP/cd_dvd_drive_problems/en-us?EntryPoint=lightbox

    Method 2: Clean the disc

Clean the CD or the DVD. To do this, use a disc cleaning kit. Or gently wipe the silver side of the disc with a soft and Lint cotton cloth. Do not use cloth of paper which can scratch the plastic and leave streaks. When you clean the disc, wipe from the center of the disc outward. Do not use a circular motion. If the problem persists, clean the disc with a damp cloth or a commercial CD or DVD cleaning solution. Dry the disc thoroughly until you insert the disc in the drive.

Select a slower recording speed and check if that helps.

    1. in the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the devices tab.
    2. in devices, double-click the CD burner, and then click the recording tab.
    3. in the write speed list, select a slower speed.

    Method 3:

Perform the clean boot and check:

    Follow the above article.

If you have any third party installed a CD/DVD burning software, uninstall them temporarily for Add / Remove Programs. Subsequently, check if you are able to burn CDs in Windows Media Player.

Hope the above information is helpful.

  • Re: Equium P300-16 t - high speed on Pioneer DVD - RW DVRKD08A

My laptop has the writer pioneer presented above.

I want to burn DVD DVD + R DL for video archiving. I used a Ridata 2.4 X and that worked OK but I want to know the write speed to the maximum that I can use safely with the writer before I buy new discs and if anyone can recommend a better buy to go with the writer.

According to Nero Info Tool, the firmware version is 1.51 and don't know if there is an update of the firmware version I have to ask and if there is do I download through online pioneer or Toshiba.

    Thank you

    Hi ivatt,.

The recording speed is also depending on the media you use. Depending on your State, it seems that you only use a disc that supports up to 2. 4 x burning speed. You must use other mediums, they can handle up to 16 x speed.
    Check this box!

Firmware update is always the last option you should do. Normally it is not necessary to s and burning quality is better low speed. For example, the maximum speed I use is 12 x and for important data as 4 x or 8 x.

Finally, and especially if you update the firmware, choose it from the page of Toshiba.

    Hello

In most cases, the burn speed depends on widespread support himself. Have you tested it with different blank DVD - R blank? Maybe the firmware can help.

The fact is that 8 x is the maximum burn speed but the producer don t says that player will burn any time and with any media empty by always using the same maximum speed.
