When playing a DVD on the computer, I get good Sound & picture on ajoining tv, I get a good quality image but no sound
    Concerning
    Darryl

    Sorry for this smithassoc

    Try this:
Click Start, go to control panel and click on switch to Classic view at the top left if necessary, and then click sounds and Audio devices. You will then be presented with the options sound and Audio from your computer, click the Audio tab and select HD Audio (this can be named differently depending on the type of video card you are using) as default device and click ok.
I guess maybe I should have asked, what video card are you using? As long as your video card supports audio HDMI then change the default audio device should solve the problem. If the video card is not taken support HDMI audio, then you need to connect the sound card to TV via one of the audio, the sound card options.

I have a laptop gateway 2750 running Vista Home Prem and I a bicoeur precessor.  My computer only recognizes the CD-ROM drive and does not see the same DVD at all.  I tried updating my drivers but it won't allow me to add a DVD driver. Help

    Hello

You have disk problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD burning and)
Playback of CD and DVD). So it is not unusual for parts from 1 or 2 to not work so that others do
    correctly.

Burning at low speed, or by using the master could help. A CD/DVD cleaner might help.

Check with the support of the door of entry for firmware updates and known issues.

    ===========================================

Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as is often total
a process that solves the problem.

Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click on the device - driver tab.
Click on update drivers (this will probably do nothing) - RIGHT click ON the drive - uninstall.
RESTART this will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue
    below.

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a coward
cable or slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and
contacts data with a pencil eraser.

Some DVD players do not use the Windows default drivers so check with the manufacturer of system and
manufacturer of device to see if there is a firmware or drivers for your drive if necessary.

Step 2: You have disc problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD

    do it right.

Did you follow the Troubleshooting Guide for the reader who still does not work? There are
the entries in registry that the troubleshooter does not solve and those who "might" be the cause.

Check with your Maker system and a device for the two possible firmware updates and
the correct registry entries for your car.

Here are the keys that I of course are those in question - for the subkeys of the CD/DVD drive
as there will be other subkeys in these keys. Do not forget to ask specific keys involved as well as
    the parameters.

  • Cannot burn DVDs from the tv recorded in media center

I have a Dell XPS laptop with Media Center tv tuner.  I have no programs stored for a while but recently.  However, after recording a television with success, I want to burn to the disc.  However, when I put a dvd disc, nothing happens.  Nothing comes up asking if I want to make a copy as it used for a year or two ago.  I tried to watch a movie in the disk drive and it works, but time and time again, can't burn movies recorded on the disc.  Helping an older person!  Thank you.  Oh... computer is no longer under warranty (5 years).  I have the windows xp operating system

  • Autolaunch DVD in the computer

I burned my movie to a DVD and when I put the disc in it to load the disc automatically and opens the menu Sub menu/chapter once I close that and double-click the DVD it starts the first piece, then load the main Menu just as it should. so why would he automatically open the submenu when incerted in the DVD player?

I think it's a performance automatic .ini problem but don't know if I can fix it with still or if I need to change the disk image myself; were not able to test it on a single computer to DVD machine, it happens on two different versions of computers and windows.

Any help would be appreciated thanks.

VLC often have trouble to open the main Menu.

Test it on a hardware player.  If it works, you're good.  Not much you can do about software errors.

  • burning DVDs to the size max

While doing a dvd mp4 how can I do burn at the maximum size of the disk? My record is 3.5 GB (mp4), but when its burnt to dvd it narrows to 2 GB. Is it possible to burn the same (3.5 GB) on a dvd? Thank you.

Still must transcode an mp4. If your settings in Encore determine the bit rate and therefore the file size and quality. Better workflow is to export MPEG2-DVD (which requires the DVD specifications) of your editing program.

  • Tried to install CS4 of DVDs on the computer windows 7, but the serial number is not accepted

A new PC with Windows 7 and want to install DVD my CS4 application.

It stops at the point where to enter serial number, to me the serail number is not recognized, and yet he is 100% correct.

How can I solve this problem?

    Kglad thanks for your support...

However, he didn't get what I wanted... to install my CS4...

Finally I had done however, and maybe it's my unconsciousness of the download.

    1 > when downloading files, a file has the extension. . 7z.

2 > after downloading this file, it is shown as a document file in my download directory... I didn't know how to go on this subject...

3 > Finally I'm brilliant and checked on the internet what one. file 7z is and found it's a file compressed in open source.

4 > I downloaded the 7. zipper Zip software and who ran on the file object

5 > guess what... it opened files and I went to installCS4 without a flaw.

I answer largely your kind response in the hope someone else, like me not so computer literate/smart,

will not loose several days to fix this problem.

To contact Adobe cat may also not constantly, so we were just waiting and waiting.

Adobe should really improve their support, but perhaps that they are very interested not because they may prefer to sell you their CLOUD solution.

Thank you for bearing with me. / / Ko
