Calls disconnected endpoint

I had a client ask about the following situation.

They have disconnected a C Series codec in one of their rooms. When calls were made to the endpoint offline, rather than fault, he ended up in the MCU. I don't have the means of laboratory to try to recreate it, but can someone shed some light on why this happens?

Thank you

Robert

Hi Rob - your client to make a call to the E164 Alias of the system and then it routed to the MCU?  Could be the E164 alias is close or is the service prefix MCU and sound recorded as GW at any GK your help.  Would be useful to see if there is a correlation between the two, or if your client made up [email protected] / * /, and the alias is always nearby the GW service prefix.  This can also occur as well.

It would be able to verify?

    Unfortunately, these screenshots and the event of VCS log extract provide really enough information to explain why the call drops, and I therefore recommend that you open a case with TAC so that appropriate newspapers can be collected to solve the problem more far.

    "Protective shield"?

    Its existence on your iPhone is maybe a problem.  You can try to use the iPhone without this "shield" because it can hinder the iPhone proximity sensors.

    I think that you run this code:

    Source: no

    Otherwise, it seems when your end point registered receives the ARQ and sends Setup for Vcs to verify that if itcan set up the call he will not be able to find an applicable search rule.

  • TC6 Firmware - call disconnects after 2 hours

    Hi all

    Our client complains that after the firmware update on the endpoints of telepresence (C40, C60, EX90) to TC6.x, there are two questions:

    1 end with TC6.x points will disconnect after 120 minutes to be connected to any appeal initiated by the remote end.  They will not cut the minute 120 if the TC6.x Unit has initialized the call.

    2 end points with TC6.x cannot connect to units MXP running F6 or earlier.  Since we MXP Codec Software F6 and F5 this is causing problems with the calls point to point.

    They have units with the TC5.1.6 software which have no problem at all. The only thing among others as the routers and switches is a VCS controller.

    Anyone has any ideas on what is the cause?

    Thank you

    John

    In TC6, we turned silently on TCP KeepAlive for the session h225 running with the default time of linux tcp_keepalive_time of 7200 seconds.  That would probably explain the disconnection to 120 minutes which sees the John after moving from TC5.1.6.

    I would also say that if this is the case, there is something which is tcp to the current between the two devices.  The firewall is also my first thought.  Perhaps WAAS on a router?  Sometimes you can get a clue that this is occurring by comparing the tcp ack/seq/windowsize header to see if it is different between the sending to the receiving side for the same package.  Something like 'tcpdump-s0 w /tmp/h225.pcap port 1720' root must limit the collected output.

    The TC6 troubleshooting located here would be a good reference in newspapers and tcpdump to use for troubleshooting signaling related issues:

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/Telepresence/endpoint/codec-c-series/TC6/troubleshooting_guide/tc_troubleshooting_guide_tc60.PDF

    The example uses this doc does not filter the traffic and John you do not want to limit the output of tcpdump only for signalling interesting to avoid problems with the size of the OCAP collected file.

    We have a bug open better control KeepAlive on the session h225 (CSCub20591) but not clear if/when it will be executed and for now if there is something that is expire tcp sessions in the network, changes will be made here to avoid this problem.

    For the 2nd question, I'm not aware either a problem with older MXP but your approach Martin to try a later version of the software would also be what I would recommend.  If you need to solve problems with old software MXP TC6, the same troubleshooting guide h323 newspapers are where you want to focus on to see where in the handshake the call fails and compare this output between TC6 and TC5.1.6 as to what has changed that can have an impact on this.

  • Webex Cloud CMR SIP video calls disconnect after 20 seconds

    Hello

    I am running version 9.1 with Exressway-C CUCM / 8.6 Expressway-E.  I have no problem doing business SIP video calls.  However when I make video calls on a site of WebEx CMR, the call becomes still cut off after 20 seconds.  It is audio and video for the first 20 seconds and then disconnects the call.

    I was able to recreate this situation of 3 of my clients running CUCM version 9.

    I have 2 clients running CUCM v10.5 and the issue is not the case.  I don't know if this question is 100% related to the CUCM version, but looks like a correlation obviouse.

    I watched the SIP trace and it seems that the endpoint CUCM is end the call with normal call clearing.  I tried 8945 phones, jabber for iphones and a C40 and I get the same results.

    If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it.

    Thank you.

    Hello

    Can you receive calls B2B? During the call set up, Webex will try to set up another session TCP inbound to your E Expressway on port 5060 and 5061, do you have this open to outside within the TCP sessions? (see page 5 of the CMR-Cloud deployment guide: http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/telepresence/infrastructure/sol...)

    If they are open, the TCP session is configured for an incoming invitation with complete SDP of the TPS Cloud, you can check your sip max message size is located at 11000 - if you went from CUCM ~8.6 5000 was the default size and the default continues for an upgrade.  Check under system-> Service settings-> CUCM service-> show click on the button to display all options, and then check the size of incoming messages SIP advanced Max.

  • Automatic call disconnect on C40

    Hello, I would like to know if anyone knows if there is a way to have a C40 disconnect a call on its own after a period of time. We had this option on former TANDBERG systems, but I can't seem to find a setting for the web interface of C40. Maybe this can be done using API commands? Thank you

    Older TANDBERG MXP endpoints had this possibility, but it is not a feature on any endpoint of Cisco, the only option is to someone to finish the call themselves.

    You should contact your account manager and request a feature if it's something you want to add.  It will not be added to CA based endpoints, that is to say: the C series for example, because TC software is in maintenance mode and only bug fixes are performed with no new features added.  However, it might be possible to add to the CE software for the current endpoints of line if there is enough interest.

  • CUCM 8.6 Multipoint calls to endpoints of TP

    Hi all

    We have a series of profile sets and EX90 endpoints that must be configured in Call Manager 8.6. I know that it can be added as a device directly from CUCM 8.6 from. If I do a Multipoint call between by profile65 and EX90, how is that possible?

    We also have a 9971 phones.

    Can I use a microcontroller and use it as HW conference bridge in CUCM? Can someone share a document on it?

    Thank you

    Bobby

    just tested in the laboratory... works correctly with CUCM registered endpoints... I have run tests with the following features

    CUCM 8.6.2

    4501 MCU sw ver 4.2 (2.30)

    IP-phones used 7985, ip communicator, 9971...

    so this should work for 4505 so... attaching some shots of config...

    Once you are in a conference call THAT CUCM sends the commands API over http to create the ad hoc Conference.

  • Satellite L350D - WLAN call disconnection

    Hello world!

    I have a problem with my D L350. My notebooks is connect through WiFi to internet but it keeps disconnecting every now and then for a short period of time (seconds half a minut) from the internet.

    I don't know what to do! I have not changed anything about drivers. Other computers do not have this problem via WiFi, if it's not the router.

    I hope you can help me!

    Maybe you should change the driver or let say to update.
    Try to update the WLAN driver. As a result, visit European Toshiba driver download:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-online decision-making supported Downloads & => Download drivers

    If it doesn't work try updating the BIOS. You can find it on the Toshiba site too.

    And by the way what system operating do you use?

  • Xbox Live call disconnection after every 10 Minutes.

    First of all, I am aware of the number of threads on this subject... but I couldn't find a solution after almost a year of searching for a solution. Then... I apologize for this o_o

    Anyway, here's how I put things up:

    Paul (provided by ISP) modem > Linksys SPA2102 (provided by ISP) > Linksys WRT120N > Xbox and computer - everything is wired.

    * As you can see, I have two routers... and I never understood why I can't get rid of one provided by my ISP. If I connect the modem Paul directly to the one I bought, the Internet works everything simply. It is therefore quite confusing when you define things upwards because I have two routers. I tried for the most part all that was mentioned (Portforwarding, DMZ, manual adjustment of the things in the Xbox... can not more just now), except the update of my routers because it does not seem to update.

    If anyone can think of something that might work, please post. If you need more information on the situation, I wouldn't mind doing some captures of screen or something.

    Hey thank you guys.

    As you have a DSL modem, you must convert the modem in Bridge mode to do your job to the X - Box.

  • How to get the phone # correspondent to disconnected call?

    Here is my code snippet: -.

    public void callDisconnected (int callId)
    {
    Logger.SOP ("callId getPhoneNumber:" + callId);
    Logger.Debug ("callDisconnected: [" + getPhoneNumber (callId) + "]");

    }

    public String getPhoneNumber (int callId) {}
    PC net.rim.blackberry.api.phone.PhoneCall = net.rim.blackberry.api.phone.Phone.getCall (callId);

    Returns a null value.
    }
    String phNumber = pc.getDisplayPhoneNumber ();
    If (phNumber.indexOf(' ') > 0) {}
    phNumber = phNumber.substring (phNumber.indexOf(' '));
    phNumber = phNumber.trim ();
    }
    Return phNumber;
    }

    BlackBerry OS version is: 4.6.0.92 9000 Blackberry (Bold)

    I ran this code on a simulator.

    I had similar problems, but resolved them while recording the phone number in a hash inside the callConnected/callInitiated/callIncoming... you call it.

    Hashtable phoneCallsHash = new Hashtable();
    ...
    phoneCallsHash.put("" + aCallID, phone.getCall(aCallID).getDisplayPhoneNumber());

    get it back later (in callDisconnected):

    (String)phoneCallsHash.get("" + aCallID);

    That should do it.
