  The winprint.dll file does not exist in the C:\Windows\System32\spool\prtprocs\w32x86 directory on any of the machines, but is located under C:\Windows\System32\spool\prtprocs\x64 on the two machines.

  There seems to be no difference in configuration between these two machines, but as I mentioned abov, on DC1, I'm able to add the printer, and I'm not on DC2.

  Is there anything I can do to get the job to the printer on DC2?

  (And for those who ask why install on a domain controller, there is no member server in this site).

  My laptop has been reloaded from a picture, and I was not able to start the print spooler at all. I have studied the issue and cleaned files and registry entries and was able to print on real printers, but not virtual. That's when I asked the question.

  Finished reimage the computer again, and once again, I could not start the print service. We discovered that the image that the laptop was built from was actually a VMWare virtual machine, so we started to look in that direction.   We had to delete the following entry in the registry and rebooting, how the print spooler began to work very well.

The print processor does not exist. "Regardless of what kind of IP config I use, the test page I always manually print has 0.0.0.0 for everything, even with the manual entry of IP. It is brand new, fresh out of the box, and I installed a few of them before. There seems to be 2 sets of link one of them lights flashes green (even without a CAT cable) and the other shows not all colors. (I think that's the main, judging by its location).   I found the solution to this problem.  You just need to run automatic installation wired function twice and then it will ask for the IP address.  Once I did this and entered the IP address, it worked fine.  It must just be an option to start or appear after a failure.  I had to let it fail twice has been confusing.

  How do you install the printer?  What is the manufacturer, brand and model printer?  This printer has already worked before or is this new - and if it worked before, it never installed on a Vista system?  Is it on a network or connected to a single PC (and how is it connected)?

  Go to start / Control Panel / Admninistrative Tools / Services and check that the print spooler is set to automatic and started - if it isn't.

  Check the settings on the control panel of the printer itself to ensure that it is correctly configured.

  If necessary, go to start / Control Panel / Printers and right click on the printer and select properties and choose Print directly instead of via the spooler and see if that solves the problem.
