Cannot remove synched Windows Skydrive 8 personal settings

Hello

I would like to delete my personnal synched settings Windows 8 (here: https://skydrive.live.com/win8personalsettingsprivacy/), but it keeps telling me to try again, as Skydrive has encountered a problem.

Everyone knows the same problem? Is - this temporary?

Alain,

-What browser you use to access Skydrive?

-What happens when you check the status of the Service?

I suggest you open Skydrive mode without modules and check.

-Press the Windows key and press R to open the Run prompt.

-Type iexplore - extoff and press to enter.

-This will open Internet Explorer without modules control mode if you are able to access the site.

Let us know the results.

VMX has only a reference on virtual disk 1... There is no reference to VD 2 and 3.

You can unsubscribe from the virtual machine--> restart services management--> re-registration the virtual machine and see if it works.

Alternatively, you may create a new vmx:

--> Unregister the virtual machine--> create new VM--> select "Use existing virtual disk" instead of creating the new disc--> point to virtual disk 1--> and follow the instructions in the wizard.

Someone has put a policy on your machine to enforce some rules for passwords. Best is to ask that person to change these rules for you. Alternatively, you can run gpedit.msc, then follow this path to edit yourself: Local computer policy / Computer Configuration / Windows settings / security settings / account policy / password policy.

    Note also that:
-You cannot delete the built-in Administrator account.
-Administrator with a blank password accounts is a big security risk.

How about you go to the Tools menu > modules and disabling the add-on!

Not that I can find a "manually change the files' on the site of the add-on.

I can find a manually records sort that does exactly what it says, but does not add and the columns you show. I can also find "additional folder columns" which aims to give your comments headers. Hello

Disconnect all external devices from the computer and try to restart the computer and check what is happening.

    Step 1:

Try to boot to the desktop in safe mode and check what is happening. Only basic files and drivers needed to run Windows are started. If a problem doesn't reappear when you start in safe mode, you can eliminate the default settings and basic as possible cause device drivers. To start in safe mode follow the link.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/315222

    Step 2:

If you are able to boot to the desktop in Mode safe, it means that the third-party application prevents the computer from starting in normal mode. To check you can configure the computer to clean start State and then try to boot into normal mode and check what is happening. To set up its own start-up follow the link below.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

If the problem does not continues when the computer is in the clean start State follow the steps listed to identify which application is causing the problem.

Note: When you are finished troubleshooting, follow step 7 article to start on normal startup.

    Hope this information is useful.

  • personal settings not retained after restarting Windows XP

After that my professional trustworthy repaired my system and reinstalled Windows XP Pro (SP3), it was OK until I started to reload security applications (such as the ZoneAlarm firewall, blockers of spies, etc.)
Now, whenever the system reboots, all personal settings are lost (even though Windows says ' save settings' then stop).  Keyboard settings, folder view settings, icon placement, etc. - all is lost.
I searched the Knowledge Base and Forums, with no obviously related results.

    Help?

Try disabling TeaTimer first. It will certainly impact the registry change. If this does not work, uninstall.

Free space - increase the hard disk space

The following procedure cleans the files associated with your user account. You can also use Disk Cleanup to clean all the files on your computer.

    2. in the drives list, click the drive you want to clean, and then click OK.
    3. on the Disk Cleanup tab, select the types of files to delete.
Note: To delete all Points except the most recent system restore - click on "Clean up System Files" and you will get another tab called more than Options. Now click More Options, and then click 'Clean up' under ' System Restore and shadow copies "and then confirm the deletion.
    4. click OK at the bottom of the window cleaning disc and in the message that appears, click on delete files.

Reduce the amount of space allocated to system restore.

    1. start--> panel--> system and safety--> system
    2. then click on the "System Protection" link located at the top left.

Delete Windows.old on your C: drive

Usually, but not always, after installation of Windows 7 you have a Windows.old folder on your C: drive that contains your files and data from the previous installation of Windows and allows you to go back to a previous version of Windows. Open Windows Explorer and under 'Computer' click the C: drive - if the Windows.old folder is on your hard drive, it will contain all of your files to the Windows system, and it can be removed if you do not need to free up space on your hard drive.

If she's not here, make sure you can see the Windows.old folder:
    1. click on start, type: hidden
    2. click on 'display the hidden files and folders '.
    3. Click to select "show the hidden files and folders".
    4. click OK and look for the folder
(Note: when you go back and uncheck the "Show files and folders")

How can I remove the Windows.old folder?
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/how-do-I-remove-the-Windows-old-folder

If the Windows.old folder does not remove:
In Windows Explorer, you should see a folder called Windows.old on your C: drive. That contains all of your files from your previous installation. If you need all the files, you can copy them to another folder and then delete Windows.old. If you do not need anything in the folder, it is safe to delete.

  • Windows 7, cannot remove the burn files after back to the top

I have a 64 bit Windows 7 laptop. A year ago I started a return upwards to put on a disc. The backup failed at the time because I ran out of records to put on (had no idea that it would take as much!).

Since then I tried to delete these temporary burn files from the F drive, but every time I click on the option, it breaks down and wrote files are used by another program. I went through and individually deleted most of them, but I still have a few huge to get the judgment and cannot remove the program (86), or on the desktop to the top, mean that they are used by another program.

I burned a CD of all these left during the backup of files and that worked, but the files are still sitting in my drive F, I still can't delete the temporary versions... its taking a lot of space and I got the bsod a couple of times.

I also tried folder in the start menu and delete the temporary files in this way, but it did not result in the F drive.

I tried to rename the temporary files so that I could remove them too, but not to chance it.

I have disc clean up all the time, this doesn't always help with the F drive.

    Your opinion would be appreciated!
