  • Message "the cartridge cradle cannot move." But he moves normally.

I have a PSC 1510 all-in-one printer and my operating system is Windows 8.1 64bits. (I used to have Windows XP and I had no problem for many years).

I downloaded the correct driver (AIO_CDB_NonNet_Full_Win_WW_140_408) of HP and installed successfully.

When I try to print something, the solution Center HP said that "the cartridge cradle cannot move." But there is no jammed paper or any damage.

I contacted HP through the phone and they had me reset the printer in a different way (by pressing the buttons cancel & paper together, etc.).

When I unplug driver and do this reset, my printer prints an alignment page in the first place and then running normal. When I plug it to the computer without turning it off, it works normally again. But if I turn the computer or printer and then turn on. I must apply the same reset procedure.

    Could someone help me?

    Hi MissTeriLynn,

I worked on this problem for about a month. As I said above, when I reset the printer, it works normally (prints of computer and copy individually). When I plug it into the computer, he continued to work on (print computer and copy individually). However, if I turn the computer or the printer off and on again, it does not normal (not print from the computer, no copy individually; just blinking red lights on the printer and the warning message on the screen).

I plugged the printer on another computer of Win8.1 without having to install HP components. It worked normal. Later, I plugged my PC disappointment once again.

I thought that the source of the problem could be HP Solution Center. And bingo!

Somehow, the HP software does the firmware of the printer get confused. I uninstalled all HP components and I have no more problems. I can't use all the features of my printer (scan especially functions), but I'm okay with that. If a new version of the HP Solution Center for Win8.1 appears, I'll try it.

Nevertheless, thank you for your response.

  • DeskJet 712C: ink cartridge is stuck in the right side and will not go

I have an old DeskJet 712C printer which was working fine until today. Strangely, the ink cartridge is stuck in the right side of the printer and will not spend. As soon as I turn on the printer, the red light starts flashing. Does anyone know tricks to get the cartridge to move again? Thank you for your help.

    Hello

It may be possible to move the cart if you turn the printer off. Unplug the printer and open the cover of the printer.  See if you can move the carriage by hand.  If possible, move the carriage to the Center.  Check that nothing of blocking the abnormal movements of transport - for example the pieces of paper.

Close the cover and then plug the printer back. I hope this will help.

I found a YouTube video that shows fixing carriage jam on printers C4200 (I know that they are not the same as the 712 C), but some of the suggestions will be useful if my initial thought above does not help.  the video is on this link:

Once again these tips are not specifically for your printer, but they can help solve your problem.

    I hope that was helpful.

  • printer cartridge cradle jam

Error message shows ' clear cradle Jam then press OK "how to clear the jam from cradle?

Hi Pat - if there is damage to the pulley, you're probably better off scrapping of the printer (my opinion).  With low prices on new printers, as well as better features and quality prints, it probably wouldn't bother to try to fix it.

That said, if that is the impression, just nothing readable, it could be another problem.  You could try to unplug the cable that connects the computer to the printer and reconnect it at both ends.  Sometimes a bad connection or a bad cable can cause the printer to print completely unreadable text.

    Hope that helps.

    Hello

The print cartridge cradle is stuck is a carriage jam error message. Please make sure that there are no obstacles, and transport must move freely.

  • Cartridges Stuck on HP psc 2210xi all-in-one

I have a HP psc 2210xi all-in-one. When I turn it on, the ink cartridges get stuck on the right side of the transport, makes the machine a rattling as he wants to go, but does not work. How can I free cartridges, so they move backward on the transport? Under Windows XP. Receive no error message.

Looks like it could be a blockage of the cart.  This give a try.

  • Photosmart Premium ink cartridge stuck on the right side of the printer.

I have a HP Photosmart Premium printer, the ink cartridge is stuck on the right side of the printer. Keep receiving an error message that says: "remove paper jam and then press ok.  I did all the steps to clear any torn or ripped from the inside of the printer paper, there was never any paper in there for blocking up inside anyway. When I opened the top of the printer my container of cartridge will not move at all, he's stuck.  It won't control the printer or by my own doing when the printer is turned off without being able to. The error and lack of time with my printer cartridge do not allow me to use the printer, I hope you can help me in anyway possible. Thank you.

It seems you have a carriage jam. Sometimes it can be a sensor that is bad and can not work properly. Here is a link that will help to transport jam

  • Support for HP Officejet 6500 is stuck to the right

My HP Officejet 6500 cartridge cradle is stuck to the right and won't spend. It also reports a paper jam, although there is no jam. I use Windows 7.

I tried the tips in the videos of support, but it does not help.

    Please notify.

    Hello Kristen,

Sorry for the late response - I see your message until now.

I hope that you have already found a solution now, but in case you haven't:

As I remember, I just searched the Web for HP authorized service providers.

In my country (Israel), there were only 2, so it was not difficult to choose :-) and then I just called them.

Moreover, in my case the repair cost about half the price of a new printer, a newer model, which comes with ink cartridges and arrives at your House. Because I needed the printer of emergency for commercial purposes, I chose to fix the damaged, but if I didn't need it right now, I would probably chose to order a new, rather to bother with going to the service provider with the printer, and then goes again to pick up the printer fixed.

    Hope that helps.

  • OfficeJet 8000 - Cartrdige cradle move

Won't spend my cartridge cradle. I was in the middle of printing 2 documents. A print, the other does not and a message indicates the cartridge cradle cannot move. When I opened the top, the cradle of the cartridge was moving well. The printer feed twice by a sheet of paper and continued to display the message. Now it does absolutely not move. Ive worked through the solutions available, look for blockages, etc.. I manually moved the cradle and it moves smoothly. I've moved all the way to the right and to reset the printer and again to the left. Nothing works.

    Help! Thank you

If the transport is blocked or stuck, there is a document with a few steps to help located here.

If you follow or have followed all of the steps described in the document, then the next step is to replace the product. If you do not need to replace the product, do not forget there are options available through the HP Technical Support such as upgrade program.

If you need to contact HP Technical Support, we can create their own service ticket and the account through the HP web ticket servicecustomer service. This will help save you some time on the phone.

    I hope this helps.

  • D1460: Transport stuck

After a paper jam, which I deleted, transport is sandwiched, the power LED flashes and the software says "'the cartridge cradle cannot move". " I followed the detailed instructions for a stuck wagon (power off, take off from the back, remove the cartridges, plug directly etc) but nothing works. As far as I know, the problem seems to be that the small black two tabs or the other side of the cartridge are stuck in position 'UP', preventing the cartridge does not move. The black right tab is inserted into the bottom of the cart, apparently prevents him from spending. At least, this is what it looks like. Transport didn't budge, even with the power off, other than on a millimeter or so, either along the steel rod, which is the quantity to 'play' the black tabs that allows simultaneously.

Is it possible to get tabs to go down and release the cart? Anyone else seen this problem or dealt with it?

The printer is only six months old and just slightly. Usury is unlikely to be a problem.

    tbrake

Fixed a problem! After writing my previous post, I spent another while that fiddling around with the print carriage. Then I took a small screwdriver and gently he worked under the wagon, where the black tab seems to be stuck. After a few minutes of poking around, the tab suddenly gushed down and released the transport. Success!

I bet that happens regularly to other people who have this model, so I hope this post helps someone avoid the days of frustration I've had.
