    Hello

From the desktop, hold down the Windows key and press R.  In the run window, type services.msc and press to enter.  Scroll down to the print spooler service, right click and select Properties, then click the Stop button.  Now search for C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS, then delete the work inside this folder - you may need to click a command prompt to get the authority to open the PRINTERS folder.

Restart the computer and you should find that the documents have been deleted.

  • Manually clear the print queue in Windows 8

Sometimes, when you go to print, it may get stuck in the queue. This may be due to several problems such as communication lag or a mistake. Ultimately the print job can print, however, there are cases where the print job is and as it is at the top of the list of the other documents are printed is no longer.

Is there a way to manually clean the print queue, so that you can ensure that no print jobs are following other print jobs. The video below will show you how to manually clear the print queue in Windows 8.

I hope that the video turns out to be useful.

Now if the print job is in the queue, or is 'stuck' may have another issue at hand. Here are two articles with troubleshooting on the resolution of the print jobs that are stuck in the print queue. If anyone has problems or questions feel free to post them below.

I have a new computer with windows 8.1 and a HP officejet 4215.  I followed the HP instructions to install the downloaded software of the printer and it says to test the printing: pqtestpage.png - it is now stuck in the print queue and will not erase, if it says it is deleting.  I tried to fix it and he just keeps showing me the same problem.  Can anyone help (I desperately need to do my taxes.)  Thank you.

  • Does not clear the print queue of the printer

I use Peachtree Accounting to generate cheques to pay for my clients and my Versacheck print the checks on blank check stock. From the windows of the last update of the queue of the Versacheck printer does not clear after that the checks are printed. Therefore, I can't print checks for another company without having to restart my PC to delete the printer. This becomes a huge problem and I was not able to get any assistance on site. I'd appreciate any help.

  • Cannot clear the print queue

I have the HP Photosmart all-in-One Printer C308g and tried to print a document yesterday evening.  It was the answer.  Then I tried to erase the doc and he said "deletion" - which was at 23:32 (EST) last night.  Since this same minute (11 a.m., EST) the doc shows again that "suppression".  I tried several times to cancel the doc.  I even off the printer, unplug the unit and still nothing.  I closed on my laptop then restarted it and tried to print again, but the original work was still in the queue.  Please if anyone has an answer to my dilemma, I would greatly appreciate your help.

  • 5610 cannot clear the print queue, will not print

    Windows 7

Works very well, then work has been "caught" in the queue. I can't print and I can't delete the job.

Windows troubleshooting tool said he found a print job in the queue that prevents other print jobs and that fixed the problem, but it has not fixed the problem. If I run againî, I get the same message. Diagnosis seems correct, but just what he thinks he's doing to solve the problem does not work.

I tried the printer doctor, but even if she sees the printer it does not move to fashion, we're going to fix things.

Manually, I went to "Cancel all Documets" but that the command was not enabled even if the printer displays the items in its queue.

I went on the ' record of spooling "in the System 32 directory and it was empty.

Thanks for your reply. I had who tried once or twice before posting and it has not fixed the problem.

What I didn't know (and did not appear in the online resources I checked) that the document was in the C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS directory on ANOTHER computer - hosting the network printer.  Once I found that crime files it I deleted the manually and solved the problem.

  • Cannot cancel all documents in the print queue, which leads to the mistake of the printer

    Original title:

I LIKE MY PRINTER, BUT LATELY I CAN'T CANCEL DOCUMENTS "ALL". IT WILL CANCEL ALL BUT ONE... SO I can not PRINT ANY FURTHUR because there is a document remaining, sometimes, you make a mistake and that you do not want the document to print, so it will remove all the document with the exception of the first tht has been implemented.

    2. do you get an error message? If Yes, what is the exact error message?

3 did you changes to the computer, before the show?

    4. what version of Windows is installed on the computer?

    Method 1:

    c. then you must go to the following directory: C:\WINDOWS\System32\spool\PRINTERS. Delete all files in this folder. This will clear all print queues.

    e. try to print now and check.

  • Documents in the print queue will not cancel or print

I tried all the usual cancel, delete, turn off the PC, turn the printer off, turn them both off the coast of all etc.

Do or not.  There is no test.

These directions will not work with Windows XP, but it's the right idea.

She also leaves a file .cmd lingering somewhere on your system.

I propose the following technique that works for all versions of Windows and will not let any .cmd persistent or other files on your system:

First to clear the print queue, you have to stop the print spooler service, and then remove all the jobs/print files pending.

You cannot delete all print jobs in queue so that the Print Spooler Service is running, so you have to stop first.

To stop the Print Spooler Service, click Start, run and enter in the box:

    services.msc

Click OK to open the Services Applet.

Locate the Print Spooler Service, right click and choose 'Properties' and then click on the "Stop" button to stop the Print Spooler Service is running.

The option "Startup Type" of Service properties print spooler is usually set to "Automatic" (which is now a good time to check it out).

If the "Startup type" is not set to "Automatic", set the "Startup Type" field to "Automatic" If that is your desire (which now is the time to check it out).

Do not try to start or restart the Print Spooler Service again...

Next. remove all updates pending upward and forward to printing from XP.  If they do not print before, you will need to send them to the printer again once things are cleaned in service yet.

Using Windows Explorer, navigate to the following folder (assuming that Windows is installed on your C drive):

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS

Delete all the print jobs in queue (select and delete all the files) in the folder if the folder is without waiting for print jobs.  The folder must be empty when you are finished.

Reboot your system and check the Print Spooler Service again to make sure the Print Spooler Service restarts automatically restart (given that the startup type is set to automatic).

After the reboot, check again the spooler service for printing and the 'Status' column for the print spooler must be read "started."

Submit new failure of print jobs.

  • Printing win 7 guest, the printer queue maintains a loop and increases the size of the file

    Hi all

That are running Windows 7 enterprise and on another professional machine, same results:

I share a "laser" on the USB printer, the printer works very well under windows prgms...  (all as administrator)

    Open CMD window:

"net use LPT2: \\hp1\laser / persistent: Yes" command complete and looks good in "Net view \\hp1".

Now, I open the print queue window and try printing a text file:

"print test.txt > lpt2" command appears to complete.  (Same results for copy, etc.)

I now see the file appear in the print queue, flashing, saying: rolling/printing, repeating & loop, and each Flash increases the size of the file!

I tried to change the Port LPT1 and 3

Nothing prints, because I have to stop the spooler, delete the file, start the spooler to clear.

What happens on two different machines, I'm totally stuck!

    Help appreciated!
