computer could not reboot after the system restore and now do not start or respond to f2 or f8
My brother prefomed a system restore, after restoring the system, that it has restarted, however never got to the windows form.
Then he turned the system with a difficult start, which got stuck before the windows screen.
so after I told him trying to start with f8 during boot, this has had no response.
then I had him find his records recovery and told him to start while now the f2 and his computer crashes when you try to find its usb devices.
I have no idea of what is wrong and worry that it will not respond to f8 or f2 start
Look at the top right of your keyboard.
You can have a F-Lock key that prevents you using F2 or F8.
See you soon. Mick Murphy - Microsoft partner

Unable to connect to the internet after the system restore and Windows Installer (Vista)
Hello
I have recently restored the whole system on the HP to my sister a virus that I was unable to remove it manually. The system restore went well until it has reached the point where he was going to reinstall Windows. The computer just turned itself off and the software installation was not complete. I am able to reinstall again. I must therefore hold the CTRL + alt + delete, go to Task Manager, click on audit.exe and complete the process to turn on the computer. But I can't do anything with it in safe mode. The main problem is: I can't connect to the internet! Even if the network discovery is on it will not find my wireless network. What can I do on the internet? And is it possible to install Windows again without the CD?Thanks in advance!Hello
· You are able to boot to the desktop in normal mode? If this isn't the case, then you get any code or message?
· How did you did system restore?
· Are you referring to the system recovery using the recovery partition or the drive?
I suggest that you start in safe mode with network and check if you can access the internet?

recently performed the system restore and now I have no internet connection
I recently had to restore my computer and after I network and sharing Center says there is no connection available. I hit troubleshoot and diagnoses say that connection 8 - avg network filter driver-0000 box card problems. also when I try to disable my avg firewall, I get an error message saying: the specific registry key does not exist. What do I do?
It would be useful to know why he had to use the system restore... In any case.
Download and run the appropriate AVG removal tool
http://www.Avg.com/us-en/utilitiesMaybe it's enough for the difficulty of access to the Internet. If there is still a problem that run at an elevated command prompt - netsh winsock reset
Of course, make sure you reinstall AVG or another anti-malware program.

A run the system restore, and now my Adobe Acrobat license has exceeded its limit
I tried to restore computer because of a corrupted installation and it deleted Adobe Acrobat, since the system restore did not work, I have reinstalled the operating system, corrected and then installed Adobe Acrobat Professional of XI, entered my license and it comes up with amounts excesses of this license. I would just get the license reactivated. Any help would be appreciated. I tried to call and Adobe is closed on weekends, cat I tried but nobody came online in some time so now, try the forums as they are 24/7.
Thank you-
Jake
You need to talk to Adobe, not users on the forums, because only Adobe can reactivate something on their end. I guess the numbers increase during the work week.

After the system restore, clock is located one hour before because of DST
Because of a logon error, I had to perform a system restore. After the system restore has completed, I noticed that my clock is set ahead one hour (DST). I think that TimeZones eventually applied twice to the clock. I can put back an hour, but I rather it would be correct. I tried to re - download the patch for the DST, but that did not help.
Have you tried to reset the clock -

Windows xp does not start after the system restore
Hi, a few days ago, I restored the system to my computer because it showed no hard disks that have been added to the computer. I had no problem before, so I restored the system to the same day. AGTER system restore, my computer would not start. Well, it's not to the point where I'm supposed to pick a user, but instead of a list of users, it shows 'windows xp' on a blue background. I turned the computer off tension and Trier to start in "safe mode", but it did not help. What should I do? Thank you.
Hello
Follow these steps and check if they help.
Step 1:
Remove all external devices such as printers, USB and then try to start.
Step 2:
I suggest that you perform the installation of repair XP on your computer and check if that helps.

Note: Make sure you have uninstalled the latest version of Internet Explorer if installed before to perform the repair facility.

When the computer starts, it must choose to leave a program unknown to the system access everything else it shows is a black screen. When you click on allow, he pulls up a virus scanner that says he has all sorts of viruses, but the program is the virus itself, because this virus program is not really on the computer. When you try to run the system restore, it says that this option has been disabled by the administrator. Also, I can't find how to run a recovery of the system and start the computer to its original settings. Help, please. It's not my laptop which is having this problem, but my roommates computer. Thank you for your time, I've ran out of ideas and was seriously in need of a little help. I tried to repair the system running through prerssing F8 in the boot menu and has not worked. also try the system restore via the SafeMode command prompt does not work either.
