Title: Can't put my computer in hibernation

Hello
After that some windows updates I can't put my computer hibernate more. When I put it into hibernation it will restart automatically, I tried a lot of solutions on the net and finally had to re - install fresh copy of windows 7 and it worked for a while, but after a few updates Windows it is no longer possible and I checked the settings and no change, so if anyone can help please do!

CPU i7-2700
8 GB RAM
Windows 7 64-bit
HARD DRIVE 500 GB

I suggest you to check the BIOS settings to make sure that sleep and Hibernate settings are enabled.

    d. then, change to "0" if it's '1' OR

    Change it to '1' if it is '0' and press ENTER.

    Then, restart the computer and after that it restarts, try to quit again.

    It is one of the locations where you will be able to disable the auto restart of the system failure. The other location is, as the computer starts, press F8. In the advanced boot menu, select the disable restart automatic option on the system failure.

    I also suggest you check the exact error message you get to do this in the Event Viewer:

    There are 3 main reason for this.
    1. hardware problems
    2 OS error file / Corruptions
    3. software conflicts

    Right-click on my computer and select Properties
    Click the Advanced tab
    In select United Nations parameters to start recovery, click the automatic reboot Option
    Try to use the computer for some time now. Check if the computer restarts now.

    Steps to perform a scan SFC:

    a. click Start, click principally made programs, Accessories, and open the command prompt.

    b. type the following command and press ENTER:

    sfc/scannow

    [The command sfc /scannow. analysis of all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.]

    Once the scan is finished, close the command prompt window, restart the computer and check.

    Thank you for your message.  We will test your RAM and see if there are problems.  Click HERE to run the Windows Memory Diagnostic.  Please let us know the results.  You can also try to increase the size of your swap file.  Please note, do not follow through with this step if your hard drive is or almost.  You will need at least 3 GB of free to perform this function.
    Click 'Start' > right click on 'My computer' > select 'properties '.
    Select the 'Advanced' tab > in course of execution , select "settings".
    Select the 'Advanced' tab > under virtual memory , select "change".
    Select 'Custom size' replace the first size to 1024 and change the maximum size of 2048.

    I recommend diagnostics currently running on the computer (restart the computer now the FN and the power button). Let the full diagnosis and Note If you find any error message.

    In addition, check in SafeMode with network. Restart the computer and press F8 on Dell logo and select Safe mode with network. Check to see if the same problem persists.
