Vostro 3500 restart automatically after a

I have a Dell Vostro 3500 which restarts automatically once I have stop my laptop and unplug the power cord.  I also observed that light scroll in "keyboard and device lights" stays on. The only solution I have is to force the judgment that it restarts and then remove the dough every time.

Wondering if anyone in the forum also seen this sort of question and have a solution.

There is no error of this combination LED codes in Vostro™.  I also shot "Automatically restart on error" in the Panel.

Hi riteshgarg,

I recommend diagnostics currently running on the computer (restart the computer now the FN and the power button). Let the full diagnosis and Note If you find any error message.

In addition, check in SafeMode with network. Restart the computer and press F8 on Dell logo and select Safe mode with network. Check to see if the same problem persists.

  • S580 Player restarts automatically after I turned off the tv

When I turn off my TV, it also turns off my Blu - ray player through a kind of hdmi handshake. but for some reason my s580 is going to restart one or two minutes later. Anyone know what setting I'm supposed to solve? or what I'm supposed to do? I tried going though the menus on the TV and the player, not luck.

    Hello

Welcome to the community of Sony.

What is the cable used to connect the BD player to TV? The Blu - ray Disc (BD) player turns off automatically if it is connected using HDMI cables to a TV that has the BRAVIA Sync function and the control for HDMI function is set to ON. The BRAVIA Sync function will turn off the BD drive whenever the TV is turned off.

Also, make sure that the BD player has updated the firmware in it.

When I turn on the laptop, it just is not started at all but it auto resarts at the same time, every 3 seconds, the screen is black.  The food, fan button, 3 buttons and also the front power indicator will flash during this period. 1. remove the battery and the power cable and press the power button for 1 min and try to turn on.

2 remove the battery cmos for 10 min and make the procedure #1

    3. remove the memories RAM one by one and do the #1 procedure.

    4. measure the voltage on the connector of the power adapter (it was 19.3v)

    5. measure the voltage on the power circuit inside the laptop for any potential problems with the laptop on board power connector and it was ok.

    6. I checked all disconnected Ribbon or the cable, but everything was fine.

  • Vostro 3500 automatic dimming of the display?

    Hi all

I found that my Vostro 3500 (15.6 WXGA LED display) is, sort of, automatically dimming the brightness of the display when the picture on the screen is dark.

It is very easy to reproduce this: I just put the paper painted in black, and I can see the brightness gradually dim. When I open a window, mainly white, the brightness increases again.

Is this a kind of "characteristic" (which I can't find anywhere and so no way to turn it off) and noted someone else?

Operating system is Windows 7 PRO x 64 with the latest drivers from Dell.

Interesting note: it seems that this behavior is present when Windows starts and loaded graphics driver. During the startup process, when the screen is black, 90% I did not notice the dimming. This would in my opinion a software about the behavior.

My next test will try with a live Linux, to see if it's really associated Windows or it is somehow in the firmware of the screen.

    Thanks for any suggestions!

If anyone is interested, I found the answer.

This is a feature of the Intel HD Graphics drivers, which can be disabled through the graphics card Intel and multimedia control panel, section "Energy conservation", by not checking the "Balanced" profile when on battery or AC power.

By default, when a battery this profile is selected the gradation is located.

  • Satellite A60 restarts automatically displaying a blue screen

I have a Toshiba Satellite A60 two years old, recently, I noticed a problem where suddenly the computer restarts automatically, in the first, showing a blue screen with white text for a glimpse of a second. Also what difference does update the BIOS?

    Hi Mustafa

The blue screen of death appears usually due to hardware failure or serious malfunction of software.
These two issues are possible on your device.
Please see this FAQ Toshiba on disabling automatic Windows XP restart after a system failure:
    http://support.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/FAQ5B01770000R01.htm

If the error message appears again, so you can see all the details of this message and then it should be possible to detect the reason why it happens.

PS: Extra, you can try to recover the laptop with the restore CD provided. Maybe this will solve this problem.
