Connection to printer program

both of my printers will not communicate with my computer.  One is wired and we're wireless.  They were both very well a few days ago.  Now, they will not print or scan.  The cable it is said that the installation of the device is not over.  A wireless said that it does not connect wireless.  Network problem.  Troubleshooting execution does not work.  Running the hotfix from Microsoft that it does not work.  I'm afraid it's the updates of windows that caused the problem.  I had this problem a few months ago and even spent time to chat with a Microsoft technician without success. But it finally resolved itself.  Maybe a fix that has been updated automatically?

Now I'm having the same problem.  I know it's not printers, because they both cannot communicate with the computer.  Two brands different and two different connections.  It is no coincidence if both stopped working at the same time.  This is the second time it happened also.  He was recently a windows update that has caused this problem?  I have an asus desktop computer running Windows 7.

I see this problem constantly among my clients.

My experience is that the easiest way to solve it is to add a new printer (the same).

There are probably 1 million of possible reasons for the problem.  The re - install is most effective in my experience.  In fact I did yesterday for a customer.

It is best to download the latest driver from the OEM web site.

    Well, I myself have solved by doing a clean installation of Windows 10. It turned out to be impossible to completely remove it from my old printer (Photosmart B110), which I believe must have been interfere with the operation of my current printer (new) (4634 Officejet) because of the garbage left in the registry. After the clean install, everything worked.

    I found the solution after doing a clean install of Windows 7 on a spare computer on the same network as the printer and then upgraded to Windows 10. This computer all printed successfully of all programs.

    I know that things of the old printer was left, because I couldn't remove using the Panel of control or remove programs and there was the folder full of files relating to the old printer.

    Your printer needs to have an ethernet port in the back, where you can connect a LAN cable. You will need to connect a LAN cable to a free port on your current modem on the back of the printer - this should establish an internet connection.

    There are two types of Wifi network, the Infrastructure being the other type and ad hoc, you are referring to. While it is possible to connect two computers together in an ad-hoc Wifi type looks like the printer works with a type of Wireless Network Infrastructure. A Network Infrastructure needs to a central controller for example a WiFi base station.

    If both Macs have only Wifi connections and no Ethernet connection, it is possible to link them together in an ad-hoc configuration, it seems that in order to get one of the Mac to act as a controller that is operating in Infrastructure mode, I think that you need to be connected to a network via Ethernet, can be configured to 'share' this Ethernet to Wifi connection. Even in this case it is not certain that a Wifi printer will accept this as it is still a very stripped down Wifi configuration.

    If you had not a hardware base station Wifi for example an Apple Airport Express, which would certainly be able to do the work for you.

    Another approach to consider connects to the printer via USB to one of the Mac and then share the printer from the Mac. The second Mac would then be able to print to the printer via the Mac. It should work even with the two Mac computers via an installer of the adhoc Wifi.

    Hi, I had problems connecting with specific programs recently. I'm still able to communicate online through web browsers. Mozilla Firefox works fine, but Google Chrome still has some problems loading of specific pages or they don't load at all. The main programs I am having difficulties with are mainly games platform programs like Steam, Battle.net, and League of Legends, and I'm unable to go online or to connect to their servers.

    I never had no problem connecting like these last two years that I've owned my laptop, until recently. I think it was the 6th or 7th of may these problems started.

    I updated my drivers and was constantly check to download the most recent. I don't know if it's my internet provider, but I was also constantly check the State of the network to ensure that the services are very good.

    If anyone else has this problem and if there are any suggestions that you think could help solve this problem, it would be appreciated.

    Thank you for the update. I think that your computer have a rootkit infection. Most of them were inside of the Chrome Extensions.

    Here's what you need to do.

    Open chrome

    Click on the Menu bar in the upper right

    Click more tools

    Click Extensions

    Please search for suspicious extensions that does not belong to the computer, especially ads. Once you identified, simply click the trash can icon then Chrome close then reopen it again to see if you can connect to your desired game. If this isn't the case, then proceed as follows.

    Manual removal of suspicious files (if you are uncomfortable with it. If this is not the case, then run System Restore from safe mode with command prompt)

    Manual removal (I miss the old days of MS virus removal )

    Go to RUN type %temp% , and then delete all folders by pressing SHIFT + DELETE

    Go to Control Panel and then locate all the apps that you think a form of ads

    Go to safe mode with network. Run Malwarebytes in that State

    Then run Tweaking tool to fix everything that has changed since your computer

    If your not comfortable with the troubleshooting steps may perform the system restore on the day, it was working fine.

    If your printer model is not in the list, then select disk provided, browse the CD that came with your HP printer and select the first file begins with hp and ending with INF. click Open, then OK. Select your printer model. Click Next.
    8. If prompted, use the driver that is currently installed.
