Can you zip the minidump in the C:\Windows\Minidump folder files and make available (link) via Windows Live SkyDrive or similar site?

I tried to help a friend trouble shoot a problem. Its a HP computer, displays a blue screen and restarts. We are unable to read the message. I went through the newspaper and cannot determine the cause error. I have several possible solutions thanks to this forum, but I'd like to have someone looking at the landfill to see if I'm on the right track. It seems to me that it could be a power supply problem.

  • Satellite A500 - 19(d) - blue screens and restarts suddenly

I am the most unfortunate customer or this model again? No one has problems with the A500 - 19(d)?
I bought, five days ago a new. First start: blue screen. Second: blue screen. Third: F8 safe mode → → can through the entire current configuration.
Then start: party started. A few times the blue pro displays time and restarts. Tempro have 2 messages based: BIOS and WLAN driver update. Update BIOS message: your BIOS is newer or the same thing. Updated WLAN: no driver for my Realtek RTL819 * 1 * SE for Win7.

Two days in vain have off turned parts and drivers downloaded. Third day: I have restored the laptop in its original original (thanks to the recovery of hard disk based) configuration and wanted to put back to give. But a small miracle happens (it's Christmas... or?)  :-)): no more blue screens. OK... just to start, it starts two or three times until OK and then just two or three times suddenly restarts a day. Yet once the drivers downloaded in vain. No change. Someone has an idea? It must be something wrong with the drivers in safe mode, that's OK. Again, there should be a driver it is loaded at startup (blue screen of the first and the second). I really like this laptop but have bought for work not for pleasure and, in this way, its quite risky, so I have to change them.

Stand by. Maybe I've misunderstood something and have to ask you once again: have you noticed this BSOD problem with State factory and without additional software installation?

Last month I had friends Satellite A500 for the test and I did not notice this kind of problems with original Vista and also clean install of Win7.
If you really think that it can be risky for you I recommend you exchange it again.

    STOP: 0 X 00000024 (0 X 00190203, 0X8713F238, 0XC0000102, 0X00000000)

This error indicates a problem with the NTFS file system.

You will not be able to boot in a mode any, until resolve you the file system.

You need start in the XP Recovery Console and run chkdsk /r to see if he's going to clean it up.

    Here's how:

Boot into the Recovery Console Windows using an XP bootable installation CD.

If you have no XP bootable media (or aren't sure you have) create a bootable XP Recovery CD of Console and do not forget.

This is not the same as recovery disks that might have come with the acquisition of the system store.

You can make a bootable Recovery Console CD by downloading an ISO file and burn it to a CD.

The ISO bootable image file you need to download is called:

    xp_rec_con. ISO

    Download the ISO from here:

Use a new CD and this simple and free program to burn your ISO file and create your bootable CD:

    http://www.ImgBurn.com/

Here are some instructions for ImgBurn:

    http://Forum.ImgBurn.com/index.php?showtopic=61

It would be a good idea to test your bootable CD on a computer running.

You may need to adjust the computer BIOS settings to use the CD-ROM drive as the first device to boot instead of the hard drive.  These adjustments are made before Windows tries to load.  If you miss it, you will need to restart the system again.

When you start on the CD, follow the instructions:

Press any key to boot from CD...

    Installing Windows... going to pronounce.

Press 'R' to enter the Recovery Console.

Select the installation that you want to access (usually 1: C:\WINDOWS)

You may be asked to enter the password (usually empty).

You should be in the folder C:\WINDOWS.  It's the same as the

C:\Windows folder that you see in Solution Explorer.

The Recovery Console allows base as file commands: copy, rename, replace, delete, chkdsk, fixboot, fixmbr, cd, etc.

For a list of the commands in the Recovery Console, type help at the prompt of commands or read on here XP Recovery Console:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/resources/documentation/Windows/XP/all/proddocs/en-us/recovery_console_cmds.mspx?mfr=true

A good idea before you start things must first verify the integrity of your file system by using the chkdsk command.

In the command prompt window, run the chkdsk command on the drive where Windows is installed to try to fix any problems on the afflicted player.

Running chkdsk is fine, even if he finds no problem.  It won't hurt anything to run it.

Assuming your boot drive is C, run the following command:

    CHKDSK C: /r

Let chkdsk finish to correct the problems, he could find.

It may take a long time for chkdsk complete or they seem to be "stuck".  Be patient.  If the HARD drive led blinks always, chkdsk is something.  Keep an eye on the amount of the percentage to be sure that it is still making progress.  It may even seem to go back sometime.

You must run chkdsk/r again until it finds no error to correct.

Remove the CD, and then type "exit" to exit the RC and restart the computer.

You have not to set the BIOS to boot the disk HARD since the CD won't be.

  • Z240 HP SFF: HP SFF Z240 random crashes, blue screens and crashes

    Hello

My work machine is a Mini PC Z240 from HP. Last month, the machine began to hang randomly and display blue screen errors. There is not much in the way perceptible models, but it tends to happen when the machine is in use, rather than the idling, and I can reproduce it systematically using the constraint of Prime95 test utility. When I put it to maximize the heat of CPU, as soon as I stop the test, the screens of the blue machine, which indicates a cooling issue.

Fan of the machine is very quiet, although occasionally he becomes very strong after a reboot and then quieted down.

I think the fan to get a louder as the CPU gets hotter during the stress test, but this does not happen, so I wonder if the fan is defective, and if it is a known problem with these machines, or if there is no possible resolution.

Please see below for the output of BlueScreeView, which displays error codes produced by these last blue screen errors.

  • PE8 crashes, blue screened and trashed the project!

Sigh... someone create DVDs using recent PE8 and HD video in a DSLR?  I tried this weekend, and it's really ugly.

    1. whenever I try to open the grave PE8 Panel transitions down.  End of session without any resumption of work being edited.  And it gets worse.

    2. I did my video without transitions, then went apart to create a DVD.  Blue screen of death.  IPF in nonpaged area or such nonsense.  I repeated 3 times this, thinking that it must be timing something.  And it's even worse.

    3. I decided not to do a DVD, just a video online. PE8 now reports my project cannot be opened.  It is damaged.  All those hours of wasted editing.

It's bad enough.  Is anyone using the elements of Prime Minister to edit video from a HD camera? If someone is doinf this, I would like to know how to work around what appears to be the killer of bugs in PE8.

I use a Nikon D7000.  I did a lot of video using PE4, 6, & 8, using still images and video standard digital and especially it work OK.  This experience is so bad that I wonder if I need to switch to products from Apple to HD video.

This is Ole Pa new reporting PROMBLEM RESOLVED.  How?  I just bought the upgrade to Premiere Elements version 10. and the same project without modification to the project or my computer now makes the DVD instead of taking down my PC with the Blue Screen of Death.  Adobe never helped me with this problem or suggested that this might be a bug in their program.

It is difficult for me to undersatnd why Adobe don't let not their paying customers help them find bugs in their products.  This seems to be an example where "crowdsourcing" could help them get the best products without a large part of the costs for them.  Adobe users, help other users of Adobe is a wonderful thing (and thanks to Adobe for providing a service that allows us to do), but as this folder, users of Adobe cannot fix bugs in the Adobe code.  Only Adobe can do and if listen to use we could help them to do so.

I am very happy that version 10 has fixed the bug that interrupted my months project; and I hope that someone in Adobe will look at these forums of supervisory and allowing users to help Adobe to find and solve problems.

    -Thank you, Ole Pa

To boot from a DVD, positioned on the BootOrder:

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

    Hello

I don't have a complete solution, but perhaps a step on the way.
I would say first to disable the auto restart when a blue screen appears.
This way the error message will remain on the screen until the PC is turned off.
