Crash on Windows 7 NVIDIA drivers

I recently bought an Amilo Notebook Pi 3540. I installed Windows 7 Professional on this topic but my crash the drivers for my Nvidia GeForce 9300 M GS. The screen flashes all the time and eventually it will fail completely (error blue screen).
I tried to reinstall Windows 7, but that did not help.
Now, I installed Windows 7 Ultimate, but still, it crashes. This time, however my screen will not blink and there will be a blue screen error. The screen becomes all white and restart the system.
When I searched the problem I found this analysis:

This was probably caused by the following module: nvlddmkm.sys

Anyone know how to fix this?

I had the same problem on 8400M GS.
NVIDIA Driver Version 186,03, I installed and everything works fine now.

  • Some rather illusory BSOD and crashes on windows 7.

So for the past month I have been doing some strange crashes and BSOD that have been in every sense. I've been on Reddit and impossible to get a solution, I have reformatted, which does not set it. I've been on with the technical support of Microsoft support chat and can not get a definitive answer (they spend hours and a symptom of trouble then send me on my way). Accidents and the BSOD happen a crapton all in one day, it's good for several days, then it's a crapton while a new day. I just assumed it was graphics so I uninstalled and reinstalled. No solution. I assumed it was ram, so I change RAM, using just a single chip, get chips on other computers, including the chip switch is in what location, perform a test of memory, no solution.

Apart from just BSOD I have therefore also get those pips weird screen that blur the screen and resemble a classic movie scene where a security monitor is hacked. Or sometimes I can be working away and suddenly the computer starts up without ever giving any warning or anything.

Here are the BSOD logs that I have. He did TONS more than that, but more often it does not really give me a journal later.

(Review of the BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system while there).

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - tab drivers version you install actually shows up. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat if necessary.

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to turn off the pilot facilities in Windows updates, that leaves is to Windows Update, but it will not install the drivers who are generally older and cause problems. If updates offers a new driver and then hide it (right click on it), then go get new ones manually if you wish.

  • Why Firefox 27.0.1 is so slow when I use the NVidia drivers?

Windows 8.1 using 64-bit and the last drivers Nvidia (NVIDIA Quadro FX 380). Firefox, it takes about 6 seconds to start. When I remove the nvidia drivers, Firefox starts quickly again.

You have enabled drivers NVIDIA and acceleration hardware tour?

You will have to perhaps restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).

    Then perform the following steps:

    • Click on the orange top left Firefox button, then select the 'Options' button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to tools > Options.
    • In the Firefox options window, click the Advanced tab, and then select 'General '.
    • You will find in the list of parameters, the checkbox use hardware acceleration when available . Clear this check box.
    • Now restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.

    Hello

Counter question: why you want to use any other display drivers? Are not satisfied with the drivers of Toshiba or can you notice problems in Windows?

Theoretically, it is possible to use the nVidia drivers directly but don t forget that they are not pre-tested on your laptop. Your graphics card could be overheating and so you lose the warranty.

Satellite P500 is fairly new, so I guess that Toshiba updates the display driver in next time too. Take a look at the page from time to time. ;)

  • Satellite A660 - 11 M: the display does not work with nVidia drivers

    Hello world.

    First of all:

I use the default pre installed SB (w7-64) and nothing more is installed on it, except the toshiba software.

The problem is that, while I use the default driver installed that everything works well, if I update the nvidia drivers, I can't change the brightness more.

It cannot be changed by fn + f6/f7
cannot change it in windows through "brightness".
no change in the power management profile.

(I can put different brightness levels, but nothing is happening!) (I hope you understand what I mean)

the only way to do it is using nvidia Control Panel.

even if use windows utility to update windows drivers download the same drivers and there is the problem.

the only way to fix it is to reinstall the default driver.

but I don't want to use the prehistoric driver!

How can I do to fix this? is this a known issue?

Thank you very much for your help!

    Hello

Since the nVidia page nVidia drivers are not pre-tested and not certified by Toshiba, it s not recommended to use these drivers.
You must use graphics drivers of Toshiba because the drivers are modified and created for the use of the laptop. These drivers support own device of thermal protection that protects the graphics chip.

I think that the issue has nothing to do with the Toshiba FN button software because brightness can be affected, even using Windows 7 power management

I recommend to go back to the original drivers Toshiba!

If you have upgraded from Vista to Windows 7 have you installed Windows 7 device drivers for your make and model. If this is not the case, then go to the support web site factory and download Windows 7 drivers to a folder on your PC and then first install the drivers for the card mother/chipset, followed by USB, SATA, LAN, Audio and all other pilots.

Also check the download site of the manufacture of the graphics card for the latest Windows 7 drivers for your card.

After unpacking, installation fails constantly and mention the graphics hardware is not compatible. (???) Whatever happens, it will fail even if the card is known to be compatible.

So I'm at the Dell driver download page and hit him with my service tag. I downloaded Dell recommended video driver for my system, to realize that this was not the most recent. Then...

Any ideas how can I update my GFX drivers?

    Thank you!

    Remi

NVIDIA does not OEM and INTEL.  Driver NVIDIA N13P GS is the last Dell.

June 2010 DirectX DXSETUP. EXE is also recommended for XP, VISTA, WIN7, WIN8.

Use DirectX Runtimes (June 2010) - Microsoft

This means that if you have OPTIMUS then the Verde drivers will not work.

    Hello Amish,

Please provide a detailed description of the issue.

I certainly understand the inconvenience caused to you.

I would be grateful if you can provide us with the following information to help us better understand the issue.

    1. Do you receive an error message? If Yes, what is the exact error message?

    2. You did it all changes (hardware / software) on the computer before this problem?

It is possible that this problem would have occurred due to incompatible NVidia drivers in the system.

  • Install the latest Nvidia drivers on ENVY 17 t-j100 Leap Motion with 750M video, need help.

I went back to the ENVY 17 t-j000 about 6 months ago because I could not install the latest Nvidia drivers. My brother has this laptop and after a few months, HP made an update of the BIOS and now it is able to install the latest Nvidia drivers very well.

So I decided to try again the ENVY 17. This time, I had the model Leap 17 t Motion - j100 with 750M versus the graphics of 740 M.

I downloaded the latest drivers from Nvidia and actually installed Nvidia. Rebooted and everything seemed fine. But he wouldn't let me not use the Nvidia Control Panel, because it seems that the screen was not connected to an Nvidia GPU.

So I tried to install it again and choose the Clean install option. But to say question.

Then, I did a complete uninstall of the Nvidia drivers and rebooted. Now when I try to install the Nvidia drivers, he says that does not find any compatible hardware. I did it today with the same single download from Nvidia. I don't know why he has installed two times before without any error and now it says that I don't have an Nvidia card.

    So TWO things:

    1. download the latest version of the driver reinstalled again.

2 fix the error "No Nvidia GPU not attached" when you try to use the Nvidia Control Panel.

I have all the latest Windows updates and updates from HP. I don't see the BIOS updates. Any ideas?

As of today, I am able to install the latest drivers Intel and Nvidia available:

    • Intel provided HD 4600 driver version date 31/10/2013 10.18.10.3345 - via manual update disk, not the .exe installer method.
    • NVIDIA provided WHQL certified version release date 07/01/2014 332.21 (332.21-notebook-win8-win7-64bit-international-whql.exe file name), said driver 19/12/2013 - quick installation, normal use date Nvidia installer.

Both these installed just fine and work perfectly together at the moment.

I hope that latest drivers will continue to install and work together as new drivers come out directly from Intel and Nvidia.

I'm just happy that I finally have two of the latest possible stable drivers.

  • VM Console goes black after installing NVIDIA drivers

    Hello

I have the NVIDIA K2 maps in vSphere 6.  Once I installed the NVIDIA drivers on the virtual machine to Windows 7, I can no longer connect using the VM console in vSphere.  RDP is the workaround.  The NVIDIA Deployment Guide says that I have to change the settings and increase the memory in the virtual video card.  I tried 9 MB, 32 MB, and 128 MB.  None of them worked.  Any ideas what I can try next?  Thanks in advance.

Yes, as stated, this behavior is expected.  My experience has been to install the following in order:

Install the following in the order by using the console to generate gold VM

    (1) base OS

    2) VMware Tools, reboot

    (3) configure the network domain and other options according to your needs.

    3) VMware Agent, reboot

    (4) direct connection plugin VMware.  Shutdown VM

    (5) add a vGPU device, power on VM

VC will display the IP address of the virtual machine, use View Client to connect directly to the IP address of the VM.

    (6) Windows meet the new device and prompt to reboot.  Given that the driver gets installed next step, click on no.

    (7) download and install the NVidia driver.  You can get disconnected, reconnect to the session.  Reset during the installation of the drivers NVidia shows

    8) reconnect via a direct connection, right click on the desktop and bring up the NVidia Control Panel.  Enter license needed (M60 only) information.

    (9) in NVidia Control Panel click on the adjustment of the Image settings with preview.  You should see a rotating logo of NVidia.

    (10) at this point, vGPU is configured and ready to install additional software and generate your snapshot for creating pools.
