And when I go to https://10.1.1.250 and login, it shows all graph (see photo). The same happens when I click on the tabs 'Policies', 'events '. Only "Administraton" tab works well, I can add new users or enter new licenses. The same phenomenon occurs in all browsers.

Am I missing something obvious here? What could be the problem?

I see you run 9.1.1. Is it possible for you to upgrade to the latest version?

    Hi all

I can get the views of the Url in function but the views of application Java with the network topology im stuggling to show.

    Concerning

Ive attached the Cisco view I want to include in a dashboard Foglight

    Thanks for adding the image.

Are these opinions presented with a rich GUI or is there an http address that we can access?

I suspect I know the answer you said "I can get the views of the Url in function but the views of application Java with the network topology stuggling to show im.»  but I just want to be 100% sure.

I want to check that it is not (or is), something that can be added with an iframe

  • Dashboard ASA ASDM Cisco ACS

    Hi all

We use CiscoSecure ACS 4.2 for AAA.

In our ASA 8.2.5 ASDM 7.3 (1) 101, if connect us with user group privilege 5, we would be unable to see the dashboard of firewall for Top 10 Services / Sources / Destinations.

Someone knows how to have the privilege of established, essentially the Group of users that we have only in read-only, but can see the Top 10 services/sources/destinations edge ASDM

    Thank you very much

    Hi David,

Yes you are right with privilege 5 you would be able to make these changes.

You can use one of two methods of authorization in order to work around this limitation:

Local database: configure command on the security privilege levels
device. When a local user authenticates with the enable command (or logs
with the command login), the security apparatus put this user in the
level of privilege that is defined in the local database. The user can then
access controls at and below the user privilege level.

Note You can use the authorization of local control without all the users in local
without CLI and database or enable authentication. Instead, when you enter
enable command, you enter the enable password and security
device puts you in level 15. You can then create enable passwords for
all levels, so that when you enter enable n (2 to 15), security
device puts you in the level n. These levels is not used, unless you put
local command authorization (see "setting up order Local
    Authorization ".

GANYMEDE + server: GANYMEDE Server + (ACS), to configure the controls that can be used by a user or a group after they authenticate to access CLI. All the commands that a user enters in the CLI are verified with the GANYMEDE server +:

    It will be useful.

  • Channel dropdown empty in OBIEE dashboard report

    Hi gurus,

I have installed-to-end analytics where events are getting fired and reach the stage DB through a router of the event. ODI takes the data from the DB staging and implementation report DB. Now, when I consult the OBIEE dashboard (http://< Home >: 7001/analytical), the articles are very well visible and configurations are made so that the click on any ID doc opens correctly article BUT menus 'Cmajor'and 'local' are empty.

I am able to see channels in the DW_REPORTING database.

OBIEE is 11g on Windows Server 2008 r2.

Please let me know what I missed.

    ==========================EDIT 1====================

Hi friends, always waiting for answers... !!

    Thank you!!

    ADI-

OK, it sorted. It was a browser issue.

OBIEE works perfectly on FireFox. Drop-down menus soon began to fill, so much awaited and then was able to see the values.

    Thanks to you all!

  • Dashboard report of the Commission, which gives a line empty?

When you run a dashboard report, I don't want to see the report until I have something in the prompt. To do this, I tried the following steps, but it still works a blank report with a blank line.

    1. for my first guest I have to 'default' as a "Specific value" and gave a value that isn't in the database, in other words if I run the query on SQL Developer, it will give me no line.
    2. my dashboard has two sections, section 1 contains the guests. In Section 2, in properties, I have been guided Navigation and selected, 'Reference Source application' Yes. Request for source I am that it points to the location. See, I have chosen "If query returns lines."

BUT this does not work, I still get a blank line. What I lack, or is there another way to address the issue. Thanks for the help.

Add three columns, by using the IFNULL function on each column.

  • Help build a dashboard

Let me say that it is beyond frustrating working with the product. It is very easy to install and collect data. I think it's great for the resolution of the problems, but the IOC would like to see some signs of dashboard.

I can create a dashboard, but I'm looking to create a background image, and then simply place a few dials spinning on the image. When I put a background image, it never shows upward. When I go to add data to the dashboard, I received what appears to be options of 1,000. I just want to find a representation simple for the health of the host, or if it's upwards or downwards.

My biggest frustration with the product is that it seems to be for a lot of the represented data which is not very easy to translate or to represent with an object.

    Hello

What format you use.   GIF/jpeg/png should work fine.

I have seen in previous cases of version where there was a problem in which you may need to create the dashboard and set a background image when you have an empty dashboard.

Once you have a white dashboard, open the right panel, choose Properties > change basic properties

Then select the background picture link

    And download the image

Once you have the dashboard with background image, there are a few things you can do.

You can use existing views, please note that the default view is by module, but you can also check the box to see the views by role

Or you can drop data, by dragging actions or objects on the screen and choose from the list of existing views.

There are many good tutorials and links for drag and drop dashboards

There is a webcast that was done as part of the series of admin (just check out the webcast you want to fill in your details and click on submit). https://software.Dell.com/event/Foglight-administrator-skills-101866232

We have a video of dash custom on the support link

    https://support.software.Dell.com/Foglight/5.6.2/videos/17093

And there are a good number of examples on the site of the community, of which some include the use of background images.

    http://en.community.Dell.com/TechCenter/p/searchresults#q=dashboard%20video

Foglight gives you lots of options (sometimes too much), but the datatree itself has a good list according to categories vmware and has the ability to search a sepecific object in a list (host esx, virtual machines, etc..)

(In my opinion) the best display options exist when you choose a layout for the dashboard of fixed size)

In regard to the presentation of a status of the ESX host you can select alarm severity in different sizes and with or without name (if the name is not meaninful you select alarm severity without name and doing dragging text to give the icon a meaninful name).

You can also select the health with history

    Hope this helps

  • Share the dashboard without login

I would like to publish some dashboards for users who don't connect in vFoglight.

Is there a way to do this?

I did some quick googling and returned empty.

    Thank you!

    Tim

What you are looking for is called to have a NoLoginUser in Foglight.

  • Unable to connect to network WPA2 with Windows 7 64-bit (Intel 4965 and Cisco WUSB600N)

Connect to a WPA2 network seems to be a fairly common problem.  Again, I can't be able to find a solution.

    OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

    Wireless adapter (s): Intel 4965AGN (integrated into Dell XPSM1330) and Cisco/Linksys WUSB600N

Drivers: latest windows 7 64 bit drivers from the two websites of companies.  Intel (v12.4.1.4), Linksys (3.0.10.0)

Network properties: WPA2 enterprise, encryption of the ACS, authentication EAP - P, several types of routers around the world

History: has been able to use the same laptop with Vista32 on this network without any problem

I can not connect to networks non - WPA WPA networks simply not.

When you try to connect to my companies WPA2 network (at any of our locations around the world).

    Method #1:

    1. Select "Other network" in the list of network
    2. Enter the SSID of the network
    3. Windows could not connect to the SSID
    Method #2
    1. Open network and sharing Center
    2. Select set up a new connection or network
    3. Select manually connect to a wireless network
    4. Select one of my adapters
    5. Enter the SSID, as WPA2-Enterprise security type, type of encryption like AES, check the boxes to connect automatically and connect even if the network is not broadcasting
    6. An unexpected error has occurred
Method #3: Try to trick windows
    1. Open network and sharing Center
    2. Select set up a new connection or network
    3. Select manually connect to a wireless network
    4. Select one of my adapters
    5. Enter the SSID but select an open network
    6. Adds the network
    7. Then try to change properties
    8. WPA2-Enterprise security type
    9. Set to AES encryption type
    10. "Choose a network authentication method:" drop-down menu is empty!
    11. Windows has encountered an error saving the wireless profile.  Specific error: the profile has an invalid length field.
I'm pretty desperate for a solution.
    Kind regards
    John

There are a few people with Win7 x 64 that cannot connect to WPA2 P/EAP Corporate/business networks and no solution?

Come on, guys, it's the microsoft answers site! someone give me something! I have two asus laptops, both with network cards Intel having this problem on two networks separate enterprise (school).

    Edit:

    RESOLVED:

Here's the thread of the resolution:

The problem occurs when you perform a Wizard for easy transfer to a computer that was Symantec Endpoint Protection installed to one without him.

    Answer, copypasted:

Inspect the key mentioned above - that is of HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\services\RasMan\PPP\EAP.

In each of the number keys look something like ConfigPathBackup and its corresponding ConfigPath - there are a number of them.

For each, I deleted the original key (e.g., ConfigPath) and restored the original by renaming ConfigPathBackup to ConfigPath

For each of them, the State is now restored to her pre State Symantec - each key pointed to a Symantec location that is no longer present and by restoring the path key backs up everything was fine

    Hello Sanjay

The behavior that you note does not seem normal that the device is configured for specific waiting periods.

I suggest you check the following defect which is reported for ASA.

  • Cisco Firesight "No any Data.

    Dear experts,

I'm quite new with the firepower of Cisco. I have 2 ASA5555 Cisco with firepower and deploy as a active / standby. We have three zone inside and OUTSIDE management. Firesight server is the stay in the planning area. I registered all module Cisco firepower at the center of Firesight project and I manage traffic inspection by fire on cisco ASA power module already. I applied the rule by default IPS for the registered device. I kept it for 2 days after that I do not throw an eye on cisco FireSight there is no any information. He showed 'No Data'. I wonder that I may miss configuration. I try to re - register the devices but it still the same. Please see the diagram below for more details.

I would like to have support for this issue. If you have any questions please let me know

    -INTERIOR interface: ip add 192.168.100.x/24

    -Outside interface: ip add x.x.x.x/24

    -Management interface: ip 10.100.100.x/24

    -Add FireSight server ip: 10.100.100.x/24

    Hello putmanoait,

Since this is a new installation, try installing the latest code to use all the new features with the device. After a correct installation and having all the required license, including Firesight host license you must ensure that the traffic was correctly redirected to cross the Firepower. If of firepower redirects the traffic that you see the same thing by activating logging under the strategy of policy access control > Access Control > rules > Logging > logging at the beginning of the connection or the logging at the end of the connection. Once after you have enabled logging, save and reapply or redeploy policy changes. Each device has its own database connection parameters. You can check out the following link and see how many events can be stored in the device.

    http://www.Cisco.com/c/en/us/TD/docs/security/firesight/541/user-guide/F...

If you can see the respective connection events under analysis > connection events, the dashboard data must also complete. If you have already activated the above and still no events are coming so please proceed as follows by the connection to Firesight CLI by raising for the root user.

    (1) check that the following service is running

    pmtool status | grep SFTop10Cacher

    (2) restart the service

    pmtool restartbyid SFTop10Cacher

    (3) you should see the service as running with a different pid

    pmtool status | grep SFTop10Cacher

Check the scoreboard after 30 minutes.

Rate and mark correct if the post will help you.

  • Offbox activate PRSM CX Redirection of traffic

    Hello

IV ' e had installed (Offbox) 9.3 PRSM.

I imported a pair of tilting ASA5585-X - each with a (big) inside CX module

How the hell you set a policy of redirection of traffic to send traffic through the modules CX!

IM pulling my hair out, if you add the tab 'traffic redirection' is said "no element is found."

Im not surprised, its not allowed - I want to put on with PRSM!

    This software is terrible!

    Pete

Hi Pete. A break on what hair you have left and check the CX Module Quick Start Guide for the ASDM method.

Short answer is that you use a rule of service strategy (policy-map). The CLI so that it is further explained in the User Guide for the ASA CX.

You can set this bit on the PRSM ASA technically but you would have to first import and manage the SAA itself (not just the modules CX). I have not tried this method as PRSM is a bad tool to manage an ASA. Same Cisco directs you little far this option in their documentation

  • PRSM and CDA on management of VMware Esxi 5.5

    Hello

PRSM and CDA is currently supported to run on ESXi 5.0. Does anyone know if these will be available to run on Esxi 5.5 anytime soon?

The guides say ESXi 5.0; but I installed both and have them works fine on an ESXi environment 5.5.

I doubt you will see any significant development on PRSM given emphasis on solutions that focus on the power of fire. We COULD see an incremental version officially supported update - that is more a question of a validation of tests than any real product development.

This is my opinion on the matter - mind only since Cisco does not generally to the roadmap plans public release.

  • Œuvres Cisco WLSE with 1130AG

We will deploy a wireless solution using the Access Point 1130AG (AIR-AP1131AG-A-K9) with Cisco WLSE works (CWWLSE-1030-K9).

    The questions are:

Are there recommendations for the location of Cisco WLSE to work in this building? Furthermore, the building has five floors and each floor has access switch that supports PoE with empty ports Giga?

Second, how many access points are recommended on each floor, floor size is 37.5 x 24 m ^ 2. And all floors are identical in the nature of the building (Council Jobson partition) and the number of users?

    Thank you

    HASSAN

    Hassan:

First of all, the WLSE is like any other server platform, so anywhere with a suitable environment (power/UPS cool, decent, connectivity) should be OK.

About the recommendations on APs how much and where to put em... Well, which is much more difficult.

The only sure answer is that depends on the outcome of an investigation on the right site.

There are so many variables to any given environment, and they are almost always different, that a response may be the result of pure speculation. Which means that is usually guess the right side and overspecifying the solution.

Even then, there are some unknown factors that you can only get with a poll on the site (such as interference... channels used by your neighbors, prospective multipath, dead & such areas).

If you do not know how to make a good site survey, he would pay to hire someone who is long term. It is certainly an additional expense from the start, but the final deployment will be more likely to work in your / your customer expectations.

Once the system is installed, you can make a few tweaks and adjustments according to the measurements reported on the WLSE, but the primary configuration should not be based on a "good guess."

The number of users per access point is also slightly variable according to the type of application and the expected user traffic.

I saw thirty users as an absolute maximum, with as little as ten for use of heavy traffic. Generally speaking, somewhere 20 users per AP for common use would be a reasonable number.

If you have users or systems that will use the 802. 11 b, this number could be lower, since the PA must make accommodations for using 802. 11B and 802.11 g.

More details would be useful, but without a good site survey, no one can really give you a firm answer.

    Good luck

    Scott

  • UCCX cuic: Failed to create the dashboard

    Hi all

My user is to have a role as administrator & Reporting in UCCX, as well as the role of Dashboard Designer in cuic. However, the user is unable to create the new dashboard / subdirectories (all grayed out option). I'm under 10.5.

Is there a required additional configuration?

    Thank you!

    -JT-

    JT,

See the information below regarding the creation of dashboards:

    1. no default reports user doesn't have permissions to create dashboards directly under the parent directory even if they provided the role of Dashboard Designer.

    2. the Super user/administrator can create subcategories and provide writing and the declaration of the user execute permissions so that they can create dashboards in this subcategory.

The same is documented in the section create subcategory of the document:

    http://www.Cisco.com/c/en/us/TD/docs/voice_ip_comm/cust_contact/contact _...

Therefore, connect in cuic as the Super user and create subcategories for the users of necessary reports and provide write/execute permissions after which they will be able to see the dashboard and work under this

Run below command from primary UCCX CLI to discover the Super User CUIC

Run sql select * from mmca_propertydef where propertyname ='OAMP. Superuser"

In this case, you are not able to remember the password for the user that you get after running the above command, you can still set a new Super user and the password by using the UCCX primary CLI commands below:

    reset_application_ui_administrator_name utils

    reset_application_ui_administrator_password utils
