• How to implement the reading of data from a matte file on a cRIO?

  Hi all!

  I'm still not sure, it is plausible, but I'll ask rather before you begin complicating. So far, I found no useful information on reading in the data to a device of RT from a file (type of a simulation test - data is simulated).

  I have the MatLab plugin that allows the storage of data read a MAT file, which has a number of columns that represent the different signals and lines representing the samples at a time (depending on the time of the sample - sample every time has its own line of signal data).

  I have no idea how to implement this at cRIO.

  The idea is:

  I have some algorithms running on the controller of RIO in a timed loop. As the entries of these algorithms I need to access each of the values of columns in the row, which is the time of the sample (sort of a time series - without written actual times).

  I am fairly new to RT and LV development, so any help would be appreciated.

  Dear Luka!

  I think the reading of all the samples in a single channel is exactly what you need here, because reading the files may take some time and is not deterministic, so it is best to read all the data in memory (or if this is not feasible due to problems of size, fairly large pieces may be sufficient). The table read can be provided and then in the loop simulating outings, something like this:

  

  I used here separate channels so it's more graphic, but you can build all the channels in a 2D array and array index corresponding to the samples fom 1 who. You can also use for loops with indexing as tunnels are setup and then you won't need the index functions and the number of iterations is also set automatically, but you have to take care of synchronization settings.

• How to create a service of simulation of WSDL by Developer J

  Hi all
  
  I want to create a simulation of WSDL service available through developer of J. The thing is, the WSDL file does not end points associated with it. But, I have a requirement where I need to create a fake service from the WSDL and it must be deployed on the local server to test the object. What is the procedure for creating false service? The WSDL has two operations of application and response, whenever the bpel sends comments to her, the WSDL should return a response.

  Create a web project, and then create a new ' Java web service from WSDL... This will generate the service for you in java... Change the code to insert the data from simulation to return... Deploy the web project and should be all that you need...

• Burn successfully but the DVD is empty - Satellite A200-1 s

  Hi all

  I've read many threads @ this forum, but not just any solution has solved my problem! Can you help me please?
  I tried to burn to DVD a lot like, PRINCO, VERBATIM, TDK, TRAXDATA, etc., and the thing is that after the burning of some data files on them.
  There is no data written to disk after successful burning...
  I can write CDs without problems, but the DVD - I have no chance! I tried to also use TOSHIBA DISC CREATOR, but when I try to burn data to DVD files it give me an error (I'm sorry I can't tell the specific error, I don't have any blank DVD right now).
  I hope someone could help me

  Hi mate,

  I guess that you did not check the drivers download site on updates of firmware for this drive?
  As far as I know there are updates firmware for this specific player, so go and check the section drivers on the Tosh site and maybe you're lucky. :)

• Define a VI to run when starting on the myRIO when programmed in scan mode

  Salvation of the forums,

  Hoping you can help me with this please. Of course there must be a simple way for me to do, but can't seem to find anything through research on the main site of NOR...

  I work with the platform myRIO and simply want a VI to run as soon as the myRIO is powered (no instruction of the user interface). I found the instructions on How to do it if the myRIO has been programmed using the FPGA and the host RT configuration but unfortunately the right click options are not available because my project/myRIO are set up using the analytical engine style mode (giving access to the range of myRIO etc.).

  Ideally I'd rather avoid having to recode the system using a low level of coding, including FPGA due the heavy compilation for each iteration of the code using real data (with simulated test on PC e/s would be faster, I know, but it is unlikely to show me bugs in my code for what I need).

  So in simple, could someone please point me in the right direction for setting a VI to run at start up/boot for the myRIO when it is configured and programmed using the scan engine?

  It turns out, after all this (several hours trying to find missing options and research methods of how do!) this is because the Application Builder had been installed and as such has been activated, but NI License Manager was always waiting to finalize activation (activation running Assistant required).

  Seems to work now but at least! No doubt lost a lot of time with her, but it's a learning curve!

  So for someone who is struggling to find options to create a .rtexe file, make sure that your Builder Application is enabled!

• OR MAX Test digital i/o Panel crashes

  I use an application written against the DAQmx C library. This application is unable to create digital output channels, such as calls to the DAQmxCreateDOChan function call. He does not plant, there is simply nothing.

  To try to diagnose this problem, I'm trying to do the same thing using NI MAX using a panel of test. In the digital i/o tab, I press start and can not press stop or change the channel values. All the other tabs work fine. When I press the stop button, nothing happens, as I am just pressing a button on a static image. When I close out of the window panel test, the process remains in the Task Manager.

  Because the problem persists even when you use NI MAX, the problem is most likely the application.

  This behavior continues when you use a data acquisition simulated as well as the actual hardware device. I reinstalled the DAQmx driver, which didn't seem to help.

  Reinstall the DAQmx drivers was a good step to take; the light that does not, I have some suggestions for the next steps in troubleshooting.

  1. try to reset the MAX Configuration as seen in the KB below.  After resetting the configuration, try running an autocalibration on the device as well to see if it works properly.

  2. looks like the issue is to the MAX, because you mentioned see the question on a simulated as well device.  Have you tried to reinstall NI MAX himself?  Get the test panels to work is definitely the first priority before using your code, then I would say continues to attempt to run your task through the test panels.

• Trying to simulate the device USB-6366 (without success)

  I read through the tutorials DAQmx and MAX about the simulation of the device, but I can't yet find a way to effectively simulate the acquisition and generation of a signal using a device USB-OR-6366.

  I am a (given at the entrance of this VI) signal using DAQmx Write and then use DAQmx Read to read the signal captured from the internal memory of the card (which has a buffer of 32 MS). To do this, I created a task with DAQmx I feed in the writing block.

  I know that the approach is most likely wrong, but I can't understand not just how to do this in a simple way and documentation of NOR is anything but simple. All I want is to

  (a) test using 2 digital inputs to capture this signal by the device and then read what she has gained from its internal buffer

  (b) send the same signal to 2 digital outputs the signal output again.

  Yes! the simulation is designed to allow you to write a program and check that it works theoretically even if you do not have the material physically available. It has no interface programming to influence on the what the reading functions will return simulated data. And write the function has no notable effect anywhere, working as a receiver of data in nirvana. It is always useful because you can test software without getting all kinds of errors on the non existing hardware access attempt, but it has its limits, of course. However, a programming interface for manipulating that which and how the data are simulated, while it would be a very interesting feature, is almost certainly to complicated not only to implement but also to use.

  I use LabVIEW 7 to dump the data into a data base MySQL using LabSQL. I generate the SQL script by concatenating input signals (after the first dynamic data table, and then to a fractional string conversion) with text constants to provide the INSERT INTO, commas etc. The script returned it is fine and works well, however, signals are each at least doubled in place (IE 10 lot in 1010, and according to the source I got 5 out as 555555555555555555555555555555555555).

  If I run the VI in climax run mode, with probes attached to the wires away from the block of concatenation, I see the real match takes place in this block. However, as the signal passes through the number of chain block, a "#2" appears above him." I guess that's what indicates the presence of two signals, but I don't see how to remedy this.

  If anyone can shed some light on this point, I would be very grateful.

  Hi Rob,

  I found the problem by placing some probes:

  You convert your data (tree simulated transducer output freq graphic) variant of doubles. Can wire you this table to the post of "conversion to string. Each conversion is getting the entire table AND IS to CONVERT the ENTIRE table! Your table contains 2 values (something around 10) If you get 10 and 10 in the chain without the characters between the two (if you get the 1010).

  To avoid this:
  -Use the index table to get the data in the table.
  - And maybe you need to use the function 'String Format' instead of these 5 unique conversion and the 'concat string... "

  And Please clean up your code a bit more. Not everyone uses a screen resolution 1600 x 1200 (or even more). Especially when you need only 640 x 480 :-)

  I'm new to labview and have encountered difficulties with the DAQ assistant.  I'm under v8.0, v8.7.1 OR-DAQmx labview and have an acquisition data PCI-6224 installed.  It seems that every time I have let down the DAQ assistant (assistant of the instrument and data acquisition simulated has the same question) on the block diagram and configure it, it don't y no input or output that I can wire a control or an indiactor to.  Y at - there a step I'm missing somewhere?

• Clear up the confusion over the name of the motherboard

  I ordered an upgrade of CPU hoping that it is compatible with my motherboard. I fell into a riddle because of unclear and defective data on the HP Web site.

  (1) Pegatron M2N58 - East named as (Narra 5)... and elsewhere on the page 6 of narrated GL6... well who is?

  AMD Phenom II X 4 830, which is not yet on the site of AMD's processor that I ordered.

  Different sites show different compatibility...

  According to the support page for my PC... as long as it takes in charge the Am2 + and TDP of 95 watts... it will be a game

  However, mistakes are confusing... and I'd like to see if anyone has this combo works?

  You are welcome.

  It seems to be a good match.  However, you're dealing with a 5 year and plu motheboard and a newer processor.  It is not always a good script for success.  The key is to be extremely careful when installing.  Make sure you add enough compound/thermal paste to ensure it will work cool.  If damage you it, needless to say, you cannot return it.

• Crash Outlook 2016 when syncing with Z5

  I synchronize my Outlook contacts and calendar using Sony PC companion.

  Contacts sync works fine but in the middle of my 2016 Outlook calendar sync hangs, then restarts. After I am more able to use Outlook (cannot open the folder) so I need to restart the PC before I can use Outlook again (I erased linking memory PC Companion, Outlook etc, also removed Outlook addins) but nothing seems to help.

  So... Help?

  Finally figured it out... and it was no fault of Sonys .

  Unfortunately AcrutoSync did not work for me since I keep the PST to Outlook on my laptop. I need to be able to synchronize whenever I am, but this would require that I had access to every router I'm behind (need to open some ports) which is very well at home and at the office... but would not work whenever I stay in a hotel.

  But it got me thinking... I remembered an incident a few years ago with my iPhone where it would suddenly stop synchronization of appointments in the calendar. So I followed the same strategy as at the time and now it works again.

  What I did to

  1. move all appointments in my Outlook calendar to a backup pst file.

  2. synchronize with Sony PC Sync (erasure of all appointments on the phone

  3 brought one date and synchronized to see that it worked (it did)

  4 brought back half appointment and tested to sync again

  5. kept doing this until synchronization crashed outlook again... then I knew there was a defective date in the last batch I have synced.

  Then just continued to do half and half, until I found the defective nomination - once I've recreated a whole worked well again.

• Calendar function returns strange values

  in aa value is 5, it is and in the bb, it is 2.

  I checked my date system as well as the date of Simulator. I don't know why it's happening.

  These values Calendar.DATE and Calendar.MONTH are the contacts to be used in conjueciton with the Calendar.getField () method.

• Simulation read data file (*.) (DAT) by using the worksheet (file reading eror - zeros)

  Dear OR community,

  IM pretty new in LabVIEW, so I have a few broblems with reading the data.

  I take a screenshot and mark a problem like part - A and part b below:

  

  The description of the goal:

  I do a mathematical simulation, using the old software whitch exporting results as shown in 1... DAT file, as it shown in the picture (Notepad).

  First of all I need not read these data then I need to draw the graph XY.

  Description of the problem:

  I created a LabVIEW program and im using a funciont reading of spreadsheet per section B - but when im trying to read data im getting all zeros...

  so I can't identify my problem... What is the problem?

  I try different file to read its Case_test_working.txt and everything is good with this data but when im trying to read *. DAT file zeros is array...

  I tried to use seperator different symbols, also try to imort data to exel then export to *.scv, *.txt formats, but the performance was the same as that indicated in part-A.

  Whenever I get zeros, but not a results as in *. DAT or another file format exported with the same data.

  Please be respectifull and understand that im still newbie in labview but I think its excellent software of filtering of the analysis of data and calculations, so I want to master this software for my future use.
