  I have a HP Compaq 6300 Small Form Factor in which I just replaced the motherboad. It works very well. I can start on a USB bootable and (1) start a Windows 8 or a clean installation of Windows 10. I can (2). boot from a USB drive capable of Linux Mint 17.3 Startup and load that OS fine. When I try the installation of any of the aforementioned OSs (Windows 8/10-Linux Mint 17) they all will get an error of memory or hard drive and the installation at the beginning of the installation to fail. I tried this on two SSD drives and two HDs standard. I am at a loss on what to try next. Any help would be great. Thank you. -Matt

  Uninstall the toolbar Ask and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask and Firefox toolbar that prevents the opening of new tabs.

  I can't instantiate all items in the range of Xilinx IP in my projects. I think I have all the necessary software installed, but there is always an error that says: "no repository of IP of the user not specified", even if I don't see IP functions in the directories in which he said his watch.   Hi jaimefmNI,

  I have some difficulty to reproduce this problem on a Windows 7 PC.  Could you post the exact steps you take before the error occurs?  When fall you to the bottom of the floating-point function 5.0, select "Configure Xilinx IP", come from the floating-point dialog box, or you receive the error immediately?

  I should also mention that the LabVIEW FPGA Module for the 2014 is not compatible with Windows 8.1.  Please see the attached Readme file for more information:

  I installed 6 Samsung SRP POS printers in 3 of my PC in the shop. Today morning I saw none of them. When I checked, the Print Spool is not started manually. Now when I start the service, it starts and I see all my printers and an error message is displayed as follows:

  All my printers are still invisible.

  Spoolsv.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows.

  I don't see that attaching your Kodak 50 in one has any merit of diagnosis.

  You have not said what happens if you insert a memory card in the HP.

  Internet research indicates that the Dell 942 also has a card reader location. That do my previous test and see what happens.

  XP Home SP3 on my laptop (no not in network - independent).

  After an Adobe Reader 10 X installed, there is a reboot, and when I logged in the profile that appeared was not mine - it was as if it was a new installation. I looked for my personal documents under My Documents and did not find them. So, I looked for them on the C: drive, found (no not noted where), and copied My Documents to what seemed like the name /my Documents /. After that, I could access my documents by clicking Start-My Documents online. I did another reboot. Now, after login, my old profile is displayed, and the My Documents folder is empty except for the value by default my pictures, my music, my videos, and favorite - and these are all basically empty.

  I then ran a program Search and Recover to find my documents - they were found under C:\Documents and Settings\TEMP\. Unfortunately, I can't seem to see that to explore (I have it configured to display the hidden files and folders). Is it possible to go to this folder and the moving my Documents back to my profile?

  So here all right, but then I tried to connect my laptop windows XP (intel 3945ABG) and another XP computer using a USB WiFi dongle without success.

  They are asking for the WPA key, it try to connect for a while and they are not (no error message) or nothing...

  Even if the Mac is using DHCP, I tried to assign a static IP address to the computers XP but the thing same connection failed.

  If I am close enough to the main router, my XP laptop can connect to it very well...

  I'm a bit confused. I would be very happy if someone could help me to understand and solve the problem.

  Sorry I haven't found the time to watch it again today.

  I remembered that I read on this forum (can't find the page more), a guy questions and changed the 'g-only' to 'mixed' mode.

  So I did the same thing and it worked. I have no idea why because the utility wireless on windows machine says "54 Mbps' not '11 Mbps"...

  Anyway, everything is fine now. The wre54g works very well.

  There are 250 to 300 ft and several walls between the router and the wre54g and the same between the PC and the wre54g. I did a test of internet bandwidth and got 1.5 Mbps, which more that sufficient for what I intend to do.

  I was wondering if someone can help me, I am a humble sysadmin with no real network admin training.

  I have the following Setup to work in a rack in our data center.

  2 x Dell Sonicwall NSA2400
  2 x stacked switches Dell Powerconnect N5524

  A Sonicwall is connected to each switch (active-passive)

  Every Dell server has 2 x nics in servile failover mode, one of each network card connected to each switch

  This is done to allow a full redundancy for network, cable, switches and Firewall interface cards. It works well.

  The above mentioned rack is now full and we ordered a new rack that is in a different datacenter of construction on the same site. We decided to buy another set of stacked switches and _extend_ (no battery) these via optical SPF on the rack on the other.

  The idea is that we still have the switch fault tolerance but link to two grids through 10 GB. The new switches are 2 x Dell Powerconnect N2048 and have been implemented stacked with any connected devices.

  I have implemented SPF ports on both switches to be a junction ports and connected the two sets of switches, unfortunately our site went offline, our alert went ballistic and no servers could not talk to each other!

  Quickly, I unplugged the new switches and after a worrisome 10 alerts deleted seconds and the site is back online.

  I don't know why this has happened and reflected on the STP parameters that my googleing seem well. I don't know I'm missing something basic.

  Which is no doubt tree covering the shot weight. It is a good idea to assign lower priority to the main switch. Generally, your root switch will be the one that plugs into the firewall. Definition of priority on the main switch to 4096, it will make the root switch. So as you work your way through different layers of the network, increase the priority. Access layer switches can be left by default.

  I would also check the physical connections for loops. In situations where you have multiple connections switch, make sure that these ports are configured in a SHIFT.

  Hi, I had a problem since upgrading to Windows 8.1 with my graphic card on my laptop. I tried to go through the official support, but they were not very useful (I wanted to reinstall windows 7 and stick to it) so I decided to try one last time to repair my laptop here.

  I have a HP ENVY Ultrabook 4 - 1053tx http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4132&lc=en&cc=my&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=5285... , which has no windows 8.1 on the site of HP drivers. It came with Windows 7 that I upgraded to 8 (no problems with it).

  Since the upgrade to 8.1, I met the following problems:

  -Audio is choppy / stutters not bad, which is very annoying when listening to music. I am facing this problem in any media player, I have try and on Youtube/all other Web site. This problem occurs only when the laptop is connected which leads me to think that it is a problem with the 7670 M Radeon HD card or driver. The laptop is on the 'performance' mode when plugged in (i.e. the best graphics) and use the Intel one 4000 when it's on battery power.

  -If the laptop goes to sleep / screen saver turns on, I sometimes wake up questions. Sometimes the screen goes black for a few seconds then the office returns, and a box at the bottom on the right say that the Radeon driver handed over a fall.

  -J' have a video game installed (Football Manager 2012 through Steam). If the laptop is disconnected, or I put the game specifically to use graphs when it is connected to energy saving, the game loads fine. He tries to open with the Radeon card, it hangs or does not load. This happens every time.

  Symptoms make me feel that there is something wrong with the Radeon graphics card or its drivers. I tried to reinstall the intel and drivers radeon (win 8 versions), but it has not solved the problem. I also tried to install the driver to win 8.1 for the 7670M I found here: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4158&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=5371... but it also does not solve the problem.

  I tried to reinstall win 7, then upgrade to 8, then the upgrade to 8.1, but which does not either. I am out of resources on this topic. I don't really want to go back to windows 8 as I like the improvements to the 8.1 but these questions (one audio including) are driving me crazy.

  Well, I think that I found a solution to my problem for a long time. It seems to boil down to a problem with the start program Intel RepID. I changed the mode "acceleration" of "Maximized" by establishing "Enhanced" in it, and so far this has solved the problem! I've been using the laptop plugged in for a little over an hour and no problems so far.
