  It's not easy to tell what the problem is but as far as I know, you must set the password for pairing.
  I recommend you to remove the mobile phone the Bluetooth Manager and re - install the mobile phone settings.

  I have an application that needs bluetooth to connect to a bluetooth serial port device.

  I love the Apple Magic Keyboard to be very light (I want it with me everywhere). I also like that I can choose the layout of the keyboard I want (Canadian multilingual), which is not available on any keyboard for any brand, with the exception of Apple iPad (and I did a ton of research). I have problems with the old model of keyboard Apple Wireless because of the Bluetooth connection: I often have trouble connecting. I want a reliable keyboard. I don't like having to plug the keyboard on the iPad, and I think that a wired keyboard can more reliable and safer than a wireless keyboard. And a wired keyboard never had battery problems.

  I read that the Apple Magic Keyboard can work wired with a Mac without bluetooth. And I read that some USB keyboards work with lightning to the USB camera adapter. There are several keyboards with a cable (Belkin or Logitech) lightning, but none with the available Canadian multilingual.

  So, if I buy a magical keyboard Apple and a Flash to the USB adapter of the camera, according to my needs, I'll be satisfied or I'm going to be disappointed?

  OK, well well just recently, I do not know why but but my router does not detect an active internet connection to my cable Modem. I have my router and Modem connected so I can play Xbox in my room.   Thanks for the reply. tried the methods you suggested but no luck. The pop alert is that when I try to connect my Philips Shoqbox Bluetooth speakers to my laptop. on its own my phone have no problem with the sound, it works very well. Just to tell you in my page of my Shoqbox Bluetooth device is associated.

• Manager tasks indicates Bluetooth not connected

  The section of the the task manager of Windows 8 Bluetooth does not work. He says Bluetooth not connected, and I use a Bluetooth mouse.

  The reason why the task manager says it is not connected is because it is not connected.  This phase of connection isn't networking for HID (human interface devices) - mice, keyboards, speakers and phones connected as audio devices.  When your phone or any other device is connected to your computer with a PAN (personal area network) - when he's mutating files - and then it will show as connected.

  I use VMware Player 5.0.2 on a host Windows 8.

  If I have a Bluetooth keyboard connected to the host, no virtual machine will start. I get the same error every time:

  But if I take the keyboard away, then Bluetooth starts just fine.

  Guest operating systems are Vista and Windows 2003. They are all the same in this regard - the same error.

  The error occurs really fast - to the extent that the log files are not updated.

  Latest version of VMware tools is on the guest.

  Any help appreciated gratefully. I can't use the machines without a keyboard, and it's on my tablet computer that I need to be portable. Please note that the issue here is with the keyboard, if there is no Bluetooth keyboard machines act as they should.

  This problem is now resolved.

  My initial assessment was wrong. The problem was to be able to. If I was running the computer on battery, all clients VMware crashed with various strange errors at startup. If the host is plugged into the power outlet, everything works as it should.

  Obviously, on battery, my computer shuts down some capabilities of the processor. Only at full power is everything what it.

  For others who might have the same problem:

  Acer Iconia W700 Core i5, 4 GB RAM, 128SSD. Power to factory settings.

  Recently reformatted my c: drive, have a Sony Vaio running windows xp and it has upgraded to SP3.  Tested connection Sonyerisson Xperia Sony headphones via bluetooth and the two connect very well.  Have uninstalled and reinstalled Toshiba Bluetooth stack and nothing.  He sees the mouse but gives the error "failed to detect the service."  Also see "Bluetooth Local COM" in the Panel does not register the blue tooth services, more they are not in the registry.  I had been using the mouse before reformat, so not sure what happened.

  How to get the signal if a device is connected / disconnected

  should be possible because in paired devices settings color turns green if connected

  reason: any test Z10 with keyboard and mouse Bluetooth and need a signal if the BT keyboard is connected

  aready problems detected:

  * BB10 ignores keyboard Layout (Mac / PC, QWERTZ / QWERTY /...)

  Shortcuts not used if BT keyboard is connected

  * BT mouse whee should do a zoom-in / out

  I think that you have made some mistakes there

  Your laptop supports the Atheros WLan card. Right?
  I think that this Atheros WLan card compatible with BT as well. This means that you need to install a special driver that allows to share WLan and BT in a single module.

  This driver calls filter for Atheros Bluetooth driver package.
  Therefore, install the driver Atheros Wlan, Atheros Bluetooth driver filter and battery Toshiba BT package.

  Then BT must be installed correctly and you should be able to activate it in order to start the pairing process.
