Disks hard not found on normal startup, but reappear in Mode safe

I had problems with my system, since I manually (like to press the power button) shut down my system XP W when ThinkPoint gave me a screen fake infection and wouldn't let me close the window. After that, all symptoms shouted 'virus' (slow performance, browser redirections, etc.) then I ran scans with MacAffee, Malwarebytes, and SuperAntiSpyware. Malwarebytes found two instances of bad registry, but SAS and Macaffee entries do nothing are, repeatedly. Also, when I tried to boot the system after the scans, I arrived at the last MS Windows display before the connection of the guest user and after five seconds of so on this window, a blue screen popped up for literally less than half second, and the computer restarted after the BIOS screen. It simply wouldn't start with extra hard drives connected (1 SATA channel and two EIDE disks) UNLESS I started in safe mode. Then she start and recognize all readers.

After a nice weekend by removing what was left of my hair, and after reading MSE on the web, I uninstalled MacAfee, downloaded and installed MSE; so quickly found seven problems. They are (were):

After performing the analysis and removing the offending files I tried to reconnect the SATA 1 canal drive, but got the same behavior; a normal start to the last image of Windows XP for low resolution, then quick blue screen (which, although I tried several times by pressing the pause/break key I still have to read... my fingers seem not to be fast enough to catch it) and repeated that it recharges, all with the same effect. My question is if I burned my motherboard, or is there something I'm missing. Oh, and one of the attempts of repair was a relocation complete W XP and all the service packs and updates. Still no access to the hard drives. As I am a photographer/editor, and there are about 2 million files on my hard drive I sort of need them.

Someone has suggestions

One step probably you should take is to do a system restore; However, since you have reinstalled Windows, backup directories are probably history.

Safe mode is just Windows running with most of the programs and services. Usually when Safe Mode works fine, but the Normal Mode is not, it is because a program or a Service that starts in Normal Mode interferes somehow. How to attack, that is to use 'msconfig' utility of Microsoft selectively enable/disable optional programs and miscellaneous services until you find one that gives you grief. This can be a long trial and error method. In addition, it is unlikely that you have a hardware problem, if you can access the drives in safe mode.

In any case, my first step if I were you would to save critical data on your other internal readers on an external USB drive. If you can not do this under Windows, then create a CD of Linux Live free (for example Knoppix ), boot from this CD and then back up the data on your discs to a USB stick or a network drive. Creating a Linux Live disk is also simple download one ".iso" file and use the "burn Image" of your program of CD burning to create the bootable CD.

Just night last series, I received message 'Serial number Not Found' at the start, followed by "Compilation Windows 7 7601 this copy of windows is not genuine".

I tried to insert the product key for the label of the laptop, but that does not solve the problem.

About dmi tool, there is no legitimate sources where this can be downloaded (this is an internal tool of HP). This is not to say that you won't find versions of this application available as if you're looking for, it's just that I'm not comfortable recommending it a.

There is however another solution I suggest definitely trying, which is to create your own disc of Windows 7 at retail, this allows you to install a clean version of Windows 7 and then use the product key 25 character on your COA label to activate the operating system.

You can do the following, but first make sure that you back up all your personal files, etc. external media.

Before you try the following, make sure that you can always read the character product activation key 25 on your label Windows COA (5 blocks of 5 alphanumeric games).

Why does Firefox Mac returns 'Server not found' for a website but Safari on Mac same load site without any problems?

The financial company Web site www.gmo.com will not appear in Firefox 32.0.02. Server not found is the only result. Safari loads Web site without any problem and Firefox for Windows computer in the House support the site without problem. All the other sites I have access, including banks, Amazon, etc. loads normally.

What/why the Mac of Firefox version would not be able to to connect/load this site?

The company of people told me that no one else has reported this problem and other people in my company can access the site. And they cannot reproduce the problem.

This is related to my network without any problem on the printer wireless network page.

Can I use e-print by sending an email to the printer and it prints ok.

'server not found' with an ip but ok with vpn ip address

Windows 7 for the last days that I get the message "server not found" when I try to access many sites (including using Mozzilla). This happens with ie also. However, when I use a different IP address (via my VPN) everything is OK.
What is going on?

Lsass.exe system error object name not found, unable to start Windows in any mode.

I am working on a friends computer who has a problem, it does not boot in any mode. This includes everything and all alternate Mode without failure, last known good Configuration and other options in between.

The computer is an old one but running Windows XP with Service Pack 3 and is updated from a few months ago. He had a program to update AVG as well as several anti-spyware installed SpyBot, Adaware, and Malwarebytes programs. Sometimes, the computer had a virus or spyware that was eventually deleted by the user with these programs in the past.

I searched the internet for at least 8-10 hours looking for solutions without real success. If not all of you with this problem, most eventually do a full reformat their hard drive. This owner does not have a recovery disk (lost?) with their computer for that and they have important documents that they would be saved. A solution (last resort) is to remove the hard drive and put it in my computer to copy documents on a cd/dvd. Your friend's computer is not likely to be infected by the Sasser worm that this virus is many, many years now. Extract the data on the drive and do a clean install/factory restore of Windows. When I have it, debug using "debug SeqEdit.exe", everything works fine.

Successfully, I upgraded my MBP late 2012 to 1 TB SSD with the help of the community here. Thank you.

My old drive was an 8.1 El Capitan\Win Bootcamp and worked pretty well without fault.

I used the disk utility to clone the OSX partition and did a fresh install of Win10 through BootCamp.

So far so good.

However, my plan was gradually transfer the files from the old partition Win 8.1 in the score of Win10 that I need them.

LR4 Volumes / disks hard not displayed in the folders Panel

I've recently upgraded to LR4.1 and it seems to have done something strange with my files. As you can see in the earlier version all my hard drives are displayed as control panel items in the folders Panel. But now, it is only the display of the boot drive and I have to drill down to the folder of volumes to reach my hard drives... It's quite embarrassing since I'm working on several hard drives.
I read in previous versions that people found a solution by using the option of "Promoting the subfolders" until all readers were displayed. However this option seems not to be in LR 4. None of my hard drives are compressed, and they are all internal. Can anyone offer any help or suggestion...

I had two or three PowerEdge 1950 servers, try to install Windows Server 2003 / 2008

But the OS cannot find all of the hard drives,

Disk drive not found in the Satellite P845T-102 (Code 19)

I recently bought a Satellite P845T-102 and the disk drive is not recognized by Windows (Windows 8). Does not appear in my computer, has no light and will not eject.

The drive is a TSSTcorp CDDVDW TS-U633J.

This is the first time I tried to use it so I don't know if it was never acknowledged, or if a windows update caused a problem.

Troubleshooting it says my driver is up to date, and Manager of devices displays the following message is displayed:

"Windows cannot start this hardware device because its information of configuration (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19) »

I have tried to uninstall the device in Device Manager and rebooting without success and have also tried to download the driver on the Toshiba site.

I would appreciate any advice to help solve this problem.
