divide the windows 7 screen option

activate it

You will first need to make sure that your windows don't are not "enlarged" to fill the screen.  To do this from a window IS enlarged, click on the button "Restore" near the upper right window:

After that, all you have to do is enter the edges of your windows and resize them and take the title bar to move.  You can organize them the way you want.

If, in particular, you want to have two windows application tiled on your screen, so each occupies half of the screen, one on the left and right, here's how you can use the new feature in Windows 7 Aero Snap (Docking) to get two of them side by side, left and right:

1. open the first application.

2. ensure that it is not maximized by pressing button 'Restore' (above).  It will grow smaller and you will be able to see the desktop around it.

3. now, move your mouse to the top of the window title bar, click the mouse and drag the window to the left edge of the screen.  Keep dragging until the mouse arrives at the edge of the screen and you will see the outline of the jump on window to the center of the screen.  Let the mouse upwards.  The application will now automatically sized to fill in only half of the screen.

4. Repeat steps 1 and 2 with the second request.

5 drag, as in step 3, but this time to the right of the screen.

Voila, two windows tiled side by side on your screen.  You can drag the edge again and they return to their original shape and their size.

FYI, the Aero Snap setting must be enabled (which is the default) so that the above to work:

  • I get the windows login screen and I do not know the password for administrators

I accidentally deleted my account and when the computer starts and I get the windows login screen and I do not know the administrators password. Also how can I reinstall windows when I got a disc when I brought my laptop. Thank you, Lorraine

Thanks for getting back to me. I sold my old laptop to my son-in-law, and he asked me to remove my name from the computer off so that my name wasn't on the screen all the time. so I deleted the profile of cook of lorraine and made one for him, but I didn't give it a password. then I realized what I had to do (I got Lorraine where time is on the bottom of the screen), but was unable to highlight to remove it without a mouse. so I plugged a mouse, but the computer does not read, then I restarted the computer. When I restarted, all I could get was the windows login screen.

then I typed in the name son-nlaws and they said that he was kidnapped, tyoed in mine and got the same and then typed in Administrator, but did not know the password. I have since reinstalled windows. XP Professional would not install saying a file was missing, so I installed xp family and is working again. He just has to click on what edition it wants to run. Professional XP of course happen just with the display of connection... but it can use again.
    Thank you once again, Lorraine

    Hi magic_love,

    1. don't you make changes before the show?
    2. do you get an error message?

If you have external devices attached to the computer, disconnect them and start your computer.

If the computer does not start, then repair install Windows XP. To do this, see to perform a repair Installation

  • How can I change or modify the windows logon screen?

I want to change the image and the sound at startup of windows

    Hi, Germain,.

Thanks for posting your query in the Microsoft Community Forums.

According to the description, it seems that you wish to change or modify the Windows logon screen and also, you want to change the sound of the system. I will help you in this problem.

For the opening of window screen:

Change the logon screen background is not supported by default in Windows 7. You will need to consult a 3rd party program.

    Note:

With the help of third-party software or a link, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third party software or link can be resolved. Using third-party software or a link is at your own risk.

    For the Windows startup sound:

I suggest you to follow the steps and check if it helps.

    (a) click Start, select Control Panel, sounds and click on tab "sounds".

From there, you can select the individual and change them in the drop-down list of the default sounds provided by Windows. If you want your own sound select it using Browse. Remember that it should be in format WAV for Windows to run. After you click apply and Ok.

I hope it helps. If you have any questions about Windows in the future, please let us know. We will be happy to help you.

  • The screen us black until I get to the Windows Welcome screen, where should I start to troubleshoot?

When I turn on my computer, the screen remains black, until it gets to the windows welcome screen 7, then the computer and video works fine.

I don't see the start of the video card or the blue HP screen information at the beginning upward.

Problem is solved.   When I checked the computer with a new video card, I noticed that an HDMI cable was used to connect to my screen.   This allows information to move to the screen until windows load the correct driver for my video card, resulting in a blank screen.

  • How to what a notification outlook 2013 on the windows lock screen 8

I have Outlook Office 2013 2013 in 64-bit and Windows 8 Pro version.  In the Windows 8 lock screen, you can get notification for Windows Mail, Skype, calendar and some other app.

Since I use my email in Outlook 2013, so I want to have Outlook 2013 email notifications in the Windows 8 lock screen, so I know when there is new incoming e-mail.

How do I do that?  When I go to the windows start screen 8, then right swip, parameters-> change PC Settings-> customize, I tried to add the 2013, but he's not here.

    Please notify.

    Thank you.

Windows 8 is a finished product, and Outlook 2013 was a finished product even before that. So I think it's a very safe assumption that it will not change in Windows 8 or office 2013.

But remember, Windows 8 is and has always been the automatic built-in ability to display the unread emails for Outlook/Exchange/IMAP accounts on the lock screen.  All you have to do is to add your e-mail account in the mail application so it can do.  You never need to open, use or see the messaging application. Just set once and relax with the lock screen feature you want.

Please don t get me wrong, but I think you're on the wrong track.
(Graphics card, LAN, etc.) device drivers must be installed in the currently running system (i.e: Windows OS, etc.)

I m sure; pilot isn t the problem if nothing is visible on the screen.

First of all, I would recommend you to connect the laptop to an external monitor/screen just to see if something would be visible on the screen 2.

But just a question: have you tried to start Notepad using a boot disk (windows installation disc, the disc recovery Toshiba or similar?).
