DO NOT BUY DELL, DELL IS A THIEF, DELL TOOK MY MONEY AND NEVER SEND MY PRODUCT!

DELL IS A THIEF... DELL WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT SEND YOUR PRODUCT... DO NOT BUY DELL!  I WILL NEVER BUY AN ANOTHER DELL PRODUCT AS LONG AS I SCREW!

I recently bought replacement ink for my Dell which came to a total of $72.42.  Dell took my money and I never received my 3 ink cartridges. When I called in 2 weeks to say that I never received my cartridges to Dell, Dell told me I was too late; they couldn't do something.  When I asked to speak to a supervisor, the representative hung up on me (three times Dell hung up when I reminded).  I barely understand foreigners they have work for them in India and God knows where else... Dell still has my money, but I don't have the product.   Dell is a THIEF... I repeat that Dell is a THIEF... DON'T BUY DELL PRODUCTS, ILS SCAM YOU OF YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT SEND YOUR PURCHASE!

First glance on front of the Dell/back/lower computer for a sticker containing the serial number. It should look like this:

... and contain a number of service made up of 7 letters and numbers. Then you get on the Dell Support site (click here) and the entrance to this service tag.

You will have a page web that contains all the necessary drivers and software that came with your Dell computer when it left the factory. Don't forget to get the drivers and software for your version of Windows.

Note: the Dell service tag number is also available from the BIOS of the computer. If you do not have a sticker on the machine, reply here with your Dell model number and I should be able to tell the good key sequence to enter the BIOS.

  • What laptop to buy dell inspiron 15 3521 or 15 3542?

Hello! I am a student and I am planning to buy a new laptop for my regular use.

I'm confused to choose between Dell inspiron 15 3521 and Dell inspiron 3542.

I know that inspiron 3521 is an and 3542 old product is a new version, but I am impressed by the performance of the battery and the reliability of the inspiron 3521. But I'm skeptical if 3521 will have the warranty and support both as the same as 3542?

and I found a very few differences between the processors, they have either 3rd gen i3-227u and 4th gen i3-4005u. And windows 8 can be upgraded to 8.1 for free.

the main reason I am leaning towards 3521 is design and reliability and there 65WH battery were as 3542 is well-bulky and 40Wh battery.

Please offer me to choose between these two laptops. And I would like to know if the warranty will be the same for both products?

    Hi harrish.1992a,

It seems that the 3521 is always available on the website of Dell India. The warranty is indicated under the pc as to how much time it is available. The two models seem to offer the same guarantee. You can always call and ask questions about the extended warranty.

  • Issues with Dell desktop computer wireless and D-Link wireless network card. Only able to get wireless access by checking "Use Windows to configure my wireless network". This kind of file sharing impossible.

original title: can't see the computer on wireless internet!

I hope that's not too much detail, but I would like that the sequence of events to be clear...

I have a Dell desktop computer that's probably six or seven years now.  It did not come with a wireless card, so I bought a DLink router and combo card wireless, install both with the DLink software.  It works beautifully.

Later, we through my rep AT & T DSL, I got a Motorola modem/router with wireless capabilities.  I had plugged directly on my computer Dell desktop and moved to a Dell laptop DLink wireless receiver.  No problems.

The Dell laptop is dead and the DLink receiver has not been used for a long time.  Family of my daughter moved to our place, and I have connected his desktop computers and laptop to wireless internet, using the Windows Connection Wizard.  Still no problem.

I got a new ASUS laptop, I also linked using the Windows Wizard.  STILL no problem.

Now, here's the problem comes.  I moved the Dell desktop computer, connected the DLink wireless receiver to it and I am able to get wireless access ONLY when I go into the properties of PC, click the wireless networks tab and check the "use Windows to configure my wireless network" box.  Then I can connect correctly, but I don't see this computer on my wireless network.  Bad luck... because I want to be able to access share files.  When I try to connect using different assistants of Windows, I get a message to the effect that, if I used another software to connect to the program, I can't use the Windows Wizard.

So, what can I do to remove the original configuration of DLink completely and to connect to my wireless network using the wizards in Windows?  I uninstalled the software of DLink, but it seems to have no effect at all.

BTW, Dell desktop computer is running XP, office computer of my daughter is running VISTA, and two laptops are equipped with Windows 7.  I can see all the computers on the network with the exception of the original Dell desktop computer wireless.

    Any help would be appreciated!

Check with Dell to see if there is a disc of diagnosis of material that you can download or order for your computer to test and see why it is not booting.  Also check the LEDs on the front that can display a code error, or for a series of beeps which may indicate an error code.

For some systems, you can get Dell operating system through Dell hosted image images

Note: not all systems and service tags will have a picture available.

Note: Although Dell hosted Images have USB3, they cannot understand the pilot of TSRI currently. (some may know this the pilot to F6). You will need to install the driver of TSRI manually during the installation process of Windows.

Dell is currently working to add the driver to the TSRI Dell hosted images. No ETA on when this will happen right now.
