  Since I was an adult upward, I'm not supposed to barge on this forum and just shouting that this product is crap. I really can't say that before I managed to actually connect on it, can I?

  It's really hard to say what causes this problem, but I would try to update the BIOS. You can find it on the Toshiba site:

  I apologize in advance for asking below, which have probably been asked before--but not found by me.

  First of all, I currently have:

  * Ultra 2 with red 2x2TB WD

  * Pro 2 with 2x1To WD

  I now need 4 TB storage in a single machine. The HCL for readers of the above shows that the number of readers that are abandoned (Australia).

  I'm therefore looking for new OS6 models...

  * It seems to me that a Bay 4 logic - but if I used XRAID 2 with 4x2TB discs, would I 4TB? I saw messages where snapshots automatically adopt the available space. Can I use 4 x 3 or 4 TB drives?

  * I do not understand the differebce between the series 1, 2 and 3 4 models of the Bay. Are replaced 1 series?

  * Need is the EDA500 - or what is its role?

  * Can I save new OS6 models for my Ultra and Pro?

  Thanks for your help. I want to get a model that won't discontued "next week."

  Oh - backup Cloud is out of the question.

  Look at the number of part on the back label. RNDP200U, RNDP400U, RNDP600U are the most version. RNDU200, RNDU400, RNDU600 are the Ultra normal.

  I'm trying to fix my parents laptop: it's a Satellite L50D-B - 14 p. It shows the error "No. Bootable Device please restart System" at startup. So far, I tried disabling "secure boot" and by replacing the boot mode 'boot CSM', without success.

  I can see in the settings of the BIOS that the HARD drive is still recognized, is not dead. I don't have the installation diskettes.

  Any advice on what to try next would be greatly appreciated.

  Is the fact that the HARD drive can still be seen in the BIOS, means that it is not dead? At the MS DOS command prompt, I typed in C: and it found nothing - it gives me to think that the hard drive may indeed be dead?

  I also ran a program of removal of data from a bootable CD. He managed to acknowledge that the HARD drive has existed and acknowledged that he had 932 GB. However, it said 0 bytes were free (which is odd).

  Any ideas would be appreciated.

  I already have my Nas 3 year nows... I use it on my work as surveyor enginier and today I got a problem...! After a reboot it tells me a message that it could not get flash memory... !!!

  I already had all my documents within my job in the raid 1.0... !!! I did the thing of tool USB recovery but nothing happends... !!!

  My first question what I can do to make it work again?

  If I reset the NaS software, he will understand that my HD are in the raid 1.0? Or this delete all my files? Is it possible to make a backup now?

  I don't know what else to do... !!! the worst thing is that I have all my jobs in there and I can't work without it... !!!

  O.K. You had 6.1.4 on this unit and tried to use 6.1.5 to fix it using Recovery Boot USB.

  I had a look on the remote system and manually updated to 6.5.2 and it came in fine. Also then update it to 6.5.2 6.6.0 with no problems.

  today I updated the FM at 6.4, which worked well, I think. Then I tried to install the Wiki (App). Does the NAS from the browser unaccessable (files were still more or less accessible).

  Then I tried to restart it and it stopped during starting, saying "boot" and the PowerLED flashes.

  I tried to reinstall the operating system, but it always stops during startup.

  Any ideas I can try? I will now check the discs and hard drives.

  Is it possible to do a factory returns without records and without losing data?

  I have 4x2TB disks, how I save them?

  Now I have solved the problem, use a monitor to the NAS and typing credentials in linux seemed to have helped the NAS. Now he is well again.

  This message means that the encryption of the system key has been changed in $VCLOUD_HOME/etc/global.properties. All the data that has been encrypted using that key (including passwords in the global.properties file and some items of information in the database of vCD) won't be available and that the system will not work. The key is generated at the start when you run the configuration tool and should not be changed after this point.

  If you don't know what is the initial value is you need to remove your data and reinstall the product.

  Just bought a computer portable satellite c55-5-137 and when I start the computer shows this message: no boot device - please reboot the system.
  Tried to boot from usb win7, same message. Also in bios I don't have the option to disable secure boot, the only option is uefi (grayed out). Need help .

  I assume that the HARD drive is not visible somehow for your system.
  When you enter the BIOS disk HARD is listed and detected correctly?
  Try to set the BIOS to default settings and check again.

  Go to Launchpad and find the icon install download. Click and hold down until the icons wiggle and an X will appear. Click on the X to delete the download failed.

• Ready NAS 102 settles after reinstalling OS

  I recently had some problems loading of apps on my readyNAS 102 so I decided to do an OS reinstall. I followed the procedure and it seems that go to the stadium where the Raidar shows 'installation' and none goes ever further. I tried the default settings and OS reinstall several times and no luck. Any help?

  Have you tried to test the disks with lifeguard program of WDC (on a PC)?

  You can use his diagnosis "write zeros", which would also mean that the NAS would see unformatted discs w/o data on them.

• iTunes download stuck, don't restart, won't erase

  I have about 35 song downloads that I did not, stuck in my iTunes on my iPad Pro.  All of them say "download error. Tap to retry"when I tap the blue arrow to download (to relaunch) nothing happens.  When I drag to remove, no red delete option reads, when I type don't edit in the top right of the screen, nothing happens. I have disconnected (e) in the settings of iTunes and then signed in and nothing has changed. Then I tried to delete all the songs from its use in settings, nothing has changed.  I tried to reset all settings and still nothing has changed.  After all this I am always stayed with 35 frozen downloads song in iTunes with no way to remove them.

  Can anyone offer advice to solve this problem?

  I have this problem with the TV series and movies. Depending on where you have downloaded the songs (music Apple or iTunes). If you look for them and press the button of cloud twice what they generally re - download. In my case, even when I have a downloaded movie and it plays very well. It always shows the download failed. It's the same 8 movies and 1 television show.

• Download El Capitan don't restart

  I started the download El Capitan and realized that I wanted to first install Yosemite and then use Time Machine to have a back up of my system with this version first.  I have a Late 2008 Macbook (2 GHz) with 8 GB of RAM (2 GB upgrade) and I was nervous about the performance of El Capitan on it.  I suspended the download of El Capitan, downloaded Yosemite and restarted my system.  For some reason any (stupid), I then took the El Capitan partial download file, put it in the trash and (firmly) emptied the Recycle Bin.  Now, when I go to the App Store to download El Capitan it won't restart the download from scratch, no doubt because he seeks the original file to resume (which no longer exists).  Help, please!
