  I know that several posts have already highlighted this problem.

  I have a Satellite L650 PSK1EE.
  Sorry if this is not the right place to post but I could not find anywhere else to start a new thread.

  Essentially my children want to use * Minecraft * on this laptop. I downloaded it but get the error message that my graphics driver is not compatible opengl. I only have Intel. So I tried the usual driver updates, then I tried to download a generic Intel driver but I don't know which one is right.

  Once I have selected * chart * then * laptop graphics driver * s then I get the choice between 2nd or 3rd generation processors, accelerators and mobile chipsets, which none means nothing to me and I'm stuck.

  It seems that some people have managed to circumvent the built-in graphics card driver and update manually one this way, once you know what you download and then unzip and so on...

  Of course, I can waste my time.

  If anyone knows how to proceed, I'd be very grateful for any help so that I can stop spending hours Googling this.

  You must install the Intel HD driver.
  Try this driver of graphics Intel HD for Win 7 and Win 8

• Touchscreen driver update problem

  So, I have a HP tm2t touchscreen, Windows 7. Everything works fine, except for the button; is not serious if I try to touch it with your finger or the stylus, it wouldn't recognize it. I tried all the stuff mentioned in other articles, still does not not + if I want to update the driver (Control Panel-> hardware and sound-> Pen Tablet properties-> download driver update), a windows pops up saying "windows cannot find ' @C:\Program c:." Make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again."

  For a few days, whenever I open the VLC Player, he'd say the operation has failed, and I should update the driver of the touch screen. However, everything would work ok if I was just opening it again. Then, Windows did some updates and option of touch screen of the laptop works with no possibility to update its drivers.

  No changes were made to the system until the problems.

  Don't know what to do?

  I'm not sure of the right reason why it would not properly work in a note only.

  Now that the digitizer has started working in Word 2010, I suggest try reinstall Office 2010 to solve the problem with a single note.

• HD4600 graphics driver update problems

  Hello - I had problems with my new pc from HP ENVY 700-515xt CTO. Somehow, the file system has become corrupted I made a recovery through the recovery Partition procedure. Who went well as far as I know.

  All updates have been applied, and a new HD4600 Graphics Driver has been installe-10.18.14.4029-18/11/2014. Now, the driver stops and restarts frequently. The site of HP Software and Driver said the most recent driver is 10.18.10.3995 Rev.A-

  June 9, 2015, but la.4029 settles. There is no way to roll back the driver Rev.A.3995.

  Please advise on this problem and help me. If you need more information, newspapers, etc., please let me know.

• Satellite C660 - 23 M - graphics driver update problem

  New to this forum, so don't know if this has been covered.

  Have installed Photoshop elements 11 and Prime Minister 11.
  Elements of program works ok but cannot get the items first to open the new project. Adobe advises trying to update the drivers I have tried without success.

  When running driver update on the laptop, it says last driver installed. 8.15.10.2189
  On the site of Toshiba update, it shows the later version 8.15.10.2353.
  Have downloaded this, I then unzipped it and it says will when you have completed the automatic installation to start but nothing happens.

  I tried several times but once unzipped it will not be installed.

  Any help would be appreciated and infact confirmation of the latest driver.

  Hi, I'm new to all this and just about managed to find my way to this Web site. I bought a Satellite as above new brand of PC World Business yesterday 22/10/08.
  I had horrible problems to install several updates of Windows that I finally had to install one by one with a re-boot after each update 'Important '.

  I took the laptop with Toshiba and now I'm using Tempro I 5 alerts telling me to install updates various...

  1 updating bios which finally ran with Windows Help and then gave the message «ROM date is not older than the date of the BIOS...» "whatever that means.

  I just bought a laptop, I didn't volunteer to become a technical wizz.
  It feels like I'm doing a work of Toshiba troubleshooting here, and I don't know what I'm doing. Can someone help me?

  To be honest I don t understand why you react so panicly

  You have a laptop that has a pre-installed Vista OS.
  The fact is that this OS Vista was preinstalled on your laptop computer and for several days/weeks, Microsoft has published a large number of updates and so Vista downloaded and installed updates. But don t wonder about other updates. From time to time you will receive these patches! This is a common behavior of the OS.

  With regard to the Tempro tool;
  This tool informs you about new drivers available, tools or utilities on the Toshiba page.
  To be honest I wouldn t use it. Usually, it's really not important what and when a pilot a tool was released if your laptop runs without problem. I'm always this recommendation; never change a running system.

  Pavilion p6240f PC

  Win 7/64-bit

  8 GB OF DDR3 MEMORY

  Intel GMA X 4500

  I am trying to upgrade my graphic card Intel, a G45 Express Chipset, when I try to download the driver I get the message: "update failed (259).

  I tried to install it with my protection virus and firewall disabled.

  I went to the command prompt and a scan for problems, it is in has not reported.

  The next step would be to re - install the original driver but I do not know how to do and if that would even work.

  I understand that you are at the point where you are looking to replace your graphics card. You can update your graphics card. Just using a PCE Express x 16 graphic card and remember to keep in mind the requirements of power currently according to the Specifications of HP Pavilion p6240f Desktop PC , you have a 300 Watt power supply. If the graphics card, you choose requirement more power than you need to update as well.

  Also, be sure to disable in the BIOS of your integrated graphics.

  That can be done to get the first working again?

  Completely uninstall driver and re - install.

• Satellite Pro U300 and XP - driver VGA update problem

  Firstly a bit of background.

  I have attached a new Del ST2320Lf monitor on my laptop Toshiba U300. The native resolution is 1920 x 1080.

  The highest resolution I can select them using the display properties > settings is 1280 x 1024.

  So on the site web of Toshiba I down loaded the XP VGA driver
  VGA_INTEL - 6.14.10.5016 - XP.exe
  When I try to install it, I get this error
  "The pilot is not validated for this computer. You can get the correct driver from the manufacturer of the computer.

  Then, I went on the website of toshiba and downloaded a new bios. -Installed OK. Re started. Then tried to install the video driver-> the same mistake.

  Called in support of the Toshiba Australia, who says "XP never came out for this model" I was unable to convince the guy to be liberated because I have records of origin with Toshiba written on them and I installed these drives XP image earlier this year. (Yes, it came with Vista pre installed but it also came with the downgrade image discs).

  He suggested that I needed a thing called "Toshiba Value added Package".
  I only found on downloads for U300 and XP OS.

  I have a Satellite C855 - 2M 1 and installed windows 8.1.

  I installed the first upgrade of the video driver from Windows update (WDDM 1.2 02/11/2013 9.12.8.0)
  and it works well.

  Lately on windows update has been released a new driver (Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. - Graphics)
  Adapter WDDM1.3 - AMD Radeon HD 7500/7600 Series)
  I tried to update the driver but when windows restarts it does not load the driver and restore the old.

  I tried to manually uninstall the driver and updated, but it fails.

  Any help on this would be much appreciated.

  To be honest I m not very well why the autopilot GPU update could not complete successfully, but I guess that the update is not out for the AMD Radeon HD7610M, which is built into the laptop.

  I also read a discussion on this issue in the Microsoft forum, and it seems that there are other people having exactly the same problem with this update.

• Update problem NVidia GeForce GT 230 M driver

  I have a HP Pavilion dv8 with an Intel Core i7, Windows 7 64 - bit and NVidia GeForce GT 230 M video card.  He is currently leading a pilot dated 05/02/2010, version 8.16.11.8906 (the same version of the driver from the list of updates of HP drivers for this PC).

  Updates Windows 7 pushes a NVidia driver updated, dated 16/10/2010, version 8.17.12.6099.  If I let the update, the PC will not get past the 'Welcome' of Windows screen on startup and will make a noise when on this screen that is normally not.  The only way I can get past this problem is to restart the PC in safe mode and do back this driver or use to go back to a restore point before this driver update.  I made sure that I reduced the potential causes of this problem starting only update the video driver.

  What's wrong?  What I would do to that will make this updated video driver to work on my PC?

  The problem I had with the pilot who started this topic has been resolved.  I was advised to load the latest driver from nVidia directly, which is the version of the 8.17.12.6658 pilot, dated Date 07/01/2011.  I tried this driver and it worked well.  I don't get everything grows Microsoft or HP to update the video driver, so I'm a happy camper now.

  The "SHORTCUT KEY" that towers power button has a small RED led installed which is supposed to light up when you press on to show that the speakers are turned off, however after an update of the Lord knows what, like Microsoft to preserve 'secret' is now to win 10 updates and get it if you want it or not, the RED Led has stopped working which I hope is a software problem that can be solved by installing the latest version of the driver HOT KEYS so...

  Using the "HP Support System" the "Robot" told me to go on the Support Page, get my model of laptop recognized then choose updated driver and select "HOT KEYS", except when you get to the drivers there is nothing that looks remotely "HOT KEYS DRIVER" in the list of all driver updates.

  Does anyone know where this "object", or what I should expect for HP Support human out of bed on Monday morning and answer the question?

  I hope the people of HP who put the "How To" pages would check them until they commit to their Web pages!

  After completing the steps gave you me and the Chipset driver and then, installation by running the installation Realtek in Administrator Mode. For some reason, I found myself with a Microsoft HD Audio Driver installed, which do not operate the RED Led!

  Then back through everything in your instructions for the second time, but the Chipset driver is back with an intallation error, so I just ran the Realtek sp73189.exe.

  For some reason that gave me a message telling me when I had done was no installed Audio driver!

  I then ran it again and after re-boot Led RED rest would not work, so I went into Device Manager and see "Update Drivers" offered that I stressed the Realtek HD Audio, and I was rather surprised to see that there is an update as of 26/01/2016 6.0.1.7730 driver Version.

  It was automatically installed and left for a few minutes, then low and here are the RED Led which is now "glowing" Fortunately started working again.

  Know not why the first two 'impossible' attempts or if the Realtek sp73189.exe had been replaced by yet another update, but at least now everything is going well until Microsoft eventually make another 'Dump for update' secret and screw something else!

• Qualcomm AR9485 Atheros Wifi card driver updates?

  I have a laptop of HP2000 running Windows 8.1

  I was hoping an update for this network card because I had problems with connectivity network for several weeks and several times the windows diagnostic resets this network adapter.

  I get the notice via HPSA that there (2) updates to this network adapter.   I can download updates, but the installation failed on both and I don't know why or where to look to find out why.  Study now has me completely confused.  Here is what is currently installed on my laptop:

  If I go My HP account have my system scanned for updates, the SP65428 I have already installed is displayed. Neither HPSA showing that I should install appear on my updates.

  I guess the question I have now, it is what is the most current, correct pilot and working for AR9485 of Qualcomm Atheros 802.11b/g/n WiFi Adapter?

  And if that's what I have already installed it, why I received this notice am updates HPSA?

  I have a P870 running on Windows 7 & until recently BT worked fine, now it doesn't.

  When I tried to download the latest version of the driver it says that I have the latest version of the driver.
  He also says that the device is functioning properly.

  It does not recognize my S4 where before he did.
  I now can not get it to pair because he does not see.

  What is the status of the Bluetooth technology in Device Manager?
  You see errors, some yellow exclamation?

  What you can do is use provided by the windows system restore and backup option and return to the point of time at the beginning, before the update have been installed...
  No doubt this has problem of BT

• 14 - n204sf Pavilion: Pavilion 14-204sf has an AMD graphics card but driver update for a nVidia

  Hi, in my attempts to find a solution to my problem with the current for my Pavilion 14-n204sf graphics driver, I found on the web from the list of available drivers HP site in which the graphics driver is a Nvidia card in the machine is an AMD Radeon 8670 M as shown in the master database and reported in the control panel of the machine. What is the reason for this discrepancy? Do both adapters use the same driver or is this just a mistake - and in this case, where is the Radeon driver?

  I understand that you upgraded your system to Windows 10 now looking a driver updated for the AMD Radeon 8670 M and there is not a list on the page of software and the driver for your model.

  If this does not work, you can try to install a driver on the AMD website, but can find that you do not get the same options as before.
