Enabling LDAP synchronization after configuration of the IOM in R2

Friends,

Did anyone tried enabling the LDAP synchronization after configuration of the IOM in R2?

I'm doing the steps the below url.

http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E27559_01/integration.1112/e27123/oid_oim.htm#IDMIG4357

But I'm not finding below.

/ db/LDAPUser
/ db/LDAPRole
/ db/LDAPRoleHierarchy
/ db/LDAPRoleMembership
/ DB/RA_LDAPROLE. XML
/ DB/RA_LDAPROLEHIERARCHY. XML
/ DB/RA_LDAPROLEMEMBERSHIP. XML
/ DB/RA_LDAPUSER. XML
/ DB/RA_MLS_LDAPROLE. XML
/ DB/RA_MLS_LDAPUSER. XML

Few of them exist in/metadata/iam-features-ldap-sync, but not all. I'm not find LDAPContrainerRules.xml anywhere at all.

I do something wrong or this documentation is wrong.

Please suggest.

I do not have the tiried yet, it seems ok. After your results/experiences, must also try.

  • Doubt about the LDAP synchronization

    Hi all

I have sync LDAP enabled on my server of IOM. I also installed OID connector. I installed it since I want a user to be able to see DIO user resource in service to him in the "resources" tab. Now, whenever I create a new user, the user is created successfully. Now I have an access policy that grants the user the user OID resource based on its role. Now, once the user is created, I see in the OID I use. Of course, it is placed in service in the cn = default user directory but I read here that it is configurable from the LDAP container rules xml file. Now this provisioning in OID arrives with LDAP synchronization, and so I do not see any resource under the tab "resources". Then I grants it the user the OID resource by attaching the role to him and now he gets put in service to the OID as well. Now I see that based on the pre fill out cards that I put in place, this user gets provisioned to the correct container in the OID. But the question is now I find myself with two users with the same name and details in the directory of the OID. I don't want that to happen. Is there some way I can cut the somehow OID LDAP synchronization over the create user operation? Commissioning product only when I apply the role and therefore in the correct container?

    Thank you

This is where, with a solid knowledge of the IOM is required. Should be re-evaluated the connector. For example, if the user exists, you know that you can not use the default create the task from the user. You will need to put just a spot of AutoComplete, since you know that each user will exist. You must also remove all your form variables that are managed from the user profile of the IOM.

    I suggest the following:

Change your form to include only the user ID, the common name and the OrclGUID and name of the organization. You can use a pre-fill adapter on all those who will come from the user profile, because they already exist. If you need to move them to a different OU, after execution of the AutoComplete that defines the status of provisioned, you could start an update task the organization name field, which then the user to the appropriate ORGANIZATIONAL unit.

You really need to think about all the tasks, and what is involved and change the connector. When you implement two methods that accomplish the same thing, you need to remove a few pieces of one of them. If you need to look at all of the tasks that will be required and the actions which are carried out. Some of them will have to be autocomplété so you can always view the status of correct resource.

  • Provisioning of the IOM users to ldap SUN

    Hi all

I had installed 9.1.0 and connector 9.0.4.1 SJSDS, IOM

Whenever I create a user from the administration console that the user is configured for the ldap Protocol, the same when I change the first name or the name of the administration console is updated in the ldap Protocol.

But every time I update the e-mail id of the admin console, it is not be reflected in the ldap Protocol.
Is the "change email" or "e-mail update" does not get funded. (not sure what is actually)

I also worked with SPML update profile web services, the same thing happening there also.
whenever I have request a change of email ID, the value of the IOM gets changed, but he isn't getting put into service for the ldap Protocol.

I hope my problem statement is clear.
Please help me in this regard.

    Thank you.

PS: I am very new to the IOM.

    Hello

I don't remember default connector has the job of changing Email set in the deployment of the connector process if just do after validation.

    1. in Lookup.USR_PROCESS_TRIGGERS has the task to change Email defined in the research.
2 validate the Email task change is defined in the process of provision of connector.

If task change Email is not defined in the procurement process and then define and fix the adpater for updating the system target.

    Hello

According to the concept of ASA, trafuc of the Interior (100 s) DMZ (50 Sec) is allowed by default. When I try to write an acl (host to host block) on the Interface inside, no other traffic runs to and from the Interface on the inside.

Everything is blocked. Previously no ACL has been mapped to the inside Interface.

Kindly help me to solve this problem and also provide the document concerning the behavior of the firewall before and after configuring the ACL.

  • Configuration of the roles of IOM (11gr2ps2) in AD

    Hi all

I have a scenario where I want to configure a role of IOM in AD. E.g. If, I create 'Test' role in IOM should directly in the ad. So any body knows how can we achieve this? Any help will be very useful.

Creation of Planner will help here?

    Thank you

    Sonya

    (1) it should go directly after the creation of the IOM. It is not dependent on the user operations.

    (2) is a time of activity. you need not change every time. But the r cles uses only the attributes that are mapped to the directory

    Note:

The LdapContainerRules.xml file may contain rules using only the attributes are mapped to the directory. A rule cannot be written using the attributes of objects or attributes that are not part of the entity. This is true for user and role entities. For example, role Email can use rules for roles, and the Organization of the user name cannot be used for the user entity.

  • Reconciliation of the IOM is not updating after adding custom fields

  • Successive connection LDAP fails after the first LDAP authorization: with wrong password

    Hello

I am currently integration Oracle CC & B utility to LDAP (Sun Directory Server java - SunOne), but I made a post here because CC & B delegates the task of authentication to the server Weblogic (I user WLS version 10).

In Weblogic, I configured two authentication providers:
    1. the principal is the LDAP authentication provider (defined as optional control indicator)
    2. secondary education is the default authentication provider (defined as optional control indicator)

Currently, some users of CC & B are stored in LDAP, and some other (more users system) are stored in the default authentication provider.

To help you make the problem more clear, I did the test with followingscenario:
    1. user LDUser2 (stored in LDAP) login with correct passwrod-> success
    2. the sysuser user (stored in the default authentication provider) connect with incorrect password-> access denied (what is good and normal)
    3. the LDUser2 (stored in LDAP) user login with password-> successful OK
    4. the sysuser user (stored in the default authentication provider) connect with correct password-> successful OK
    5. the user (stored in LDAP) LDUser2 connect with the incorrect password-> denied access, which is normal. However, from this point, the problem starts
    6. the user (stored in LDAP) LDUser2 connect with the right password-> rejected access KO is the problem
    7. connection (also stored in LDAP as LDUser2) LDUser1 with the right password of the user-> big problem of access denied KO
    8. the LDUser7 user (stored in the default authentication provider) connect with the right password-> successful access
9 restart the server resets the situation, but once a user is stored in the LDAP connection with a wrong password (5 point number), attempts by users stored in LDAP fail.

It seems that after the first LDAP authentication with wrong password, all users stored in LDAP connection attempts will fail.

    Help, please.
    Thank you.

    Jeffry

    Hello

The connection attempt is made on console weblogic with the same result?

If I'm not wrong, until WLS 10.3 it is a problem reported where once the user connects with password and username incorrect, all attempts after that results in the failure of the connection.

The patch is available with up to 10.3 WLS support

This might be the question however need to check.

    1. create rules by using the name of the organization.
    2. create a group for each name of the Organization
    3. apply the rules of membership in each organization to place users into groups based on the name of organizastion.

  • After doing a "clean boot" and then begins a reset, how do I activate the starting aps in the Configuration of the system when the "Activate" button is low?

I just ran a "clean boot" on Windows 8.  Now, I'm trying to reset my computer but when I enter msconfig - System Configuration - Services - the "Hide all Microsoft Services" checkbox is more verified and the "Disabled" button is available, the button "Activate" is low.  According to the instructions on support.microsoft.com/kb/929135 should show the opposite, and I have to uncheck 'Hide' and 'Activate' all access points.  What can I do to activate the aps and finish reset correctly.

    Hello

Are you trying to reset the computer to start normally after a boot minimum troubleshooting?

If Yes, then I would like to inform you that once you select Normal startup under Startup selection all services and startup items will be automatically activated. You just need to restart the computer to start the computer normally.

ERROR, April 13, 2011 15:49:58, 236, [XELLERATE. API], class/method: tcSchedulerOperationsBean/updateScheduleTaskData some problems: maoErrors: unable to get the reference of the Scheduler, one of the reasons may be Scheduler is not running.

    How can I fix?

    Thank you
