Envy 17 t j-100

I need to know if the wireless network card and the video card on the Envy 17 t-j100 can be upgraded at a later date or if they are integrated into the laptop and so not extendable.

Thank you

Wireless card is removable, but HP has a 'white list' in the BIOS to limit cards that may be installed. The white list is not present in the newer models. We try to understand this. If you find a specific wi - fi card you want to try to get back and see if we can get an answer as to if it will work.

On the video; Sorry, no upgrade is possible at all.

  • Re: Missing Bluetooth | HP ENVY 15-j026tx | Windows 8.1

Pouf! No Bluetooth! Here yesterday, has become today!

    I'm having the same problem with a laptop Envy 17 T J 100...

Bluetooth hardware simply disappeared after (I think?) a certain Windows update. Went live with chat support, they invited to uninstall then reinstall the networking and bluetooth drivers, ALL tried and did not get any advantage. The BIOS does not recognize that the radio-transmitter Bluetooth EXISTS in this computer. It was as if a gnome came to my house in the middle of the night, unscrew the lower part of the thing, has crawled around inside, removed the bluetooth equipment and replaced with a WAD of styrofoam.

I KNOW it is Bluetooth inside the thing - say the plug; the order sheet confirms that I paid for it; I've used it before. I don't know when it came out, but when I tried to use it yesterday, it wasn't there. My area has had a problem with internet due to a storm, so I thought that I attach my cell phone and its data (via the cell tower) to my laptop for a little bit, see how it goes, but I noticed when I got the phone and the laptop next to each other, WHAT? BLUETOOTH NO MORE? BUT WHY?

And I'm sure it's an update of Windows and HP incompatibilities, which are the culprits. Nothing yet HP or Windows programmers. It has something to do with the management of energy, maybe. But because I can not ANY software to ADMIT that the material EXISTS, there is no way to force-power for the equipment.

BLUETOOTH HAS DISAPPEARED. DIFFICULTY PLEASE. Thank you.

  • HP Envy 15 TS (C8P47AV): can't get Realtek GBE onboard Ethernet RTL8168 go above 100 Mbps

I've only used my HP Envy TS 15 (C8P47AV) wireless and recently got a wired connection using CAT7 at my desk on the 2nd floor. I can't exceed 100 Mbps and it is extremely frustrating! I've read tons of things on the web and can not find something that helps! My WiFi gets a faster than the Ethernet cable speedtest. I see this change once! That's when I changed the cable that I have my router on and noticed he went to 300mbps and things flying. However him unplugging and plugging it into which he disappeared port. It's almost like the old bargaining hung. In any case change this to force it to work? I tried gigabit forced, you name it, any setting changes you fixed! I even tried to plug directly into the router port and that it did not. I have other devices that work fine with this same CAT7. I'm SOL with this version of HP laptop?

I found the problem! After reading each thread only forum I could find on Google. Someone suggested to see if there was a brooch twisted in the connector and of course the middle one was bent! I don't know how it happened as I've only used wifi. It's a little tricky but I folded it back turned and I was ready to go! The chalk of it as not a cable problem or driver!

    It's just sad.  I'm sorry, that's happened.

And I'm not sure what one should do; and I regret that no one answered - apparently nobody else knows precisely what to do, either.

I guess at some point you will have to press the power button and turn off the laptop.  It can start later, it's 100%...

Or - you could unplug the computer and carried over to a local home repair and see if something can be done with a system that is frozen and apparently will stay that way unless you intervene.

If the computer is under warranty, you can contact HP and establish a contact / case - this can be useful if all goes on the side after you press the power button and you need help with the computer goes again:

  • Unable to get web services reactivated on Envy 100 D410

My envy 100 D410a was once working with ePrint, but has not been used for a while.  I've recently switched to connected HP and had to re - register the printer.  The news to save the printer would not print.

After trying a few times, I removed the web services and then tried to turn it back on, but every time I get the message "problem connecting to the web services server.

I have the Group of experts through the troubleshooting to restart the printer, restart the router, nothing helps.  I have currently set an IP address manually and can print wireless via a laptop, but not ePrint and no web service.

I tried to configure the servers manual DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 (via the printer IP address URL), but whenever I try, I get an error:

    An error has occurred. (wipv4Page-400)
    Click 'OK' to go back

    The current firmware is: SLM1CN1039HR.

SOLVED!   This can be closed.  I did a factory reset, but not on the tab network/section.  Once I did this and restarted the printer, web services could be reactivated.  I can now access the printer via HPEPrint.

  • ENVY 100 all-in-one: Envy 100 printer all-in-one - will not glossy paper 250 gsm

Difficulties that the printer will not accept 250 gsm paper past the printhead.

I note others have had the same problem which seems to have been set by a semi of hardware reset. How can I get the required for the semi reset procedure?

    Thanks in advance.

    Welcome to the @noxasforums.

I saw your post about your Envy 100 not pulling by glossy paper 250 gsm and wanted to answer you! I checked the specs for the Envy 100 and as you can see below, the printer should take in if you use a format supported below. Maybe you can try the steps from the link I posted for you. I think the cleaning rollers should help. You can also try to select different types of paper to see if one works better than the other.

    Let me know what happens!

Tip: Make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall jack, avoiding bars power and surge protectors. This ensures that the printer is full on.

  • No internet after using the Envy 100

Whenever I use the Envy 100 (or to be more precise: when the urge got a Wi - Fi connection) I lose internetconnectivity. But only after I finish a session to my router (Linksys WRT610N). When I turn off the router and the next time, it cannot connect to my internetmodem (Linksys AM200) at all. WiFi is in place, but I have only local access, apparently the router cannot connect to my modem (which indicates both the CABLE with the router as the to Internet is up.)

This only happens after the sessions where I used the desire, otherwise everything is OK. During these sessions, there is no problem, only after the start a new. The only way to restore the connection is reset my hard router and reconfigure.

BTW. I am one of the users who are unable to get a connection to the webapps desire, but there work ePrint - that is another thread on this forum. Not sure if the two problems are or are not connected.

    Any help or pointers?

A FW update was recently released to solve the problem with access apps... If you have not received notification on the urge of an available update, you should be able to go to your desire screen and select settings (wrench) > Web > Product Updates > check product updates get the latest FW installed on your printer.

Regarding the other question - routers are not intended to be turned on/turned off constantly, but it must always connect to your reliable modem after reboot.  Complete the FW update and see if the problem persists.  Also, can you share why you turn off the router on a regular basis - there is really no need to do so.

ENVY 100 all-in-one printer does not support the scanning of slides.

  • HP envy 100 don't scan

I have not been able to scan from the printer control panel in a long time, but I've always been able to browse webscan.  All of a sudden which is no longer available.  The saved Web page reflects my printr IP but the links on the homepage, scan, settings, etc. do not connect to something more.  I ran the Print and Scan doctor and that was a failure.  If I select the printer from devices and printers there are no scan options at all.  I am on Windows 7 and do not know when this ability is gone I do not often scans.  Any ideas?

    Hello

You try to scan via Webscan or perhaps via the HP software?

When you select your printer in devices and printers, you can see the following options?

    -HP Printer Wizard

    -See what's printing

    -Setting preferences

    -Customize your printer.

If so, uninstall the current software from following programs > HP > HP Envy 100 > Uninstall.

Then download and install the latest version of the software below, which should fix the problem and restore any functionality back.
