  I enclose a link below for the user manual for series 8150B controllers.  I don't think that the BIOS is protected by default, so you may want to contact the person you bought it from to know what is the password.  However, there is information contained in the manual on how to remove the CMOS contents, then this might help.

  I installed xp Pro on a laptop of friends (at his request), but I can not find driver that work to install the lan and w/lan.

  I tried the intel lan drivers but they do not appear that to uninstall, the material has the normal yellow question? against it.

  I'm having the same problem with the w/RL, or pickup w/local network after installing drivers. It makes no difference if I install the management software either.

  I have mucked for hours, but just cannot get to be detected and work.

  I bought an equium A100-027 and, because of my work, I want to use a personal OS XP - Pro, I bought the retailer 2006 Microsoft.
  The problem is that XP installs successfully, but I can't find the drivers on the Toshiba Download Page.
  The laptop TYPE is witch PSAAQE is not listed. I tried to use the drivers provided by other series A100 PSAAxxx but XP does not accept. I managed only with the Intel graphics driver... How can I do?
  I sent a mail to support Toshiba in France and they redirect me to the download page of drivers even DO NOT contain any driver for my laptop... (it does not appear there).
  It is mandatory for me to use XP - Pro, because we use it for industrial automation, so I can't use Vista! seriously, I bought a PC that do not work on XP?

  The Equium A100 Satellite A100 and very similar specifications and possibly some drivers will also work on yours.

  AFAIK, there is no option to disable the antivirus in the Bios.

  If you want restorefrom recovery disk, you need to set the cd/DVD-ROM under the 1st boot device.

  My son s partner has a 2 year old Toshiba which has become slow over time. I had done a backup of the system with office installed etc using Acronis. Anyway, decided to rid running Acronis and recorded image. The program runs normally, and he falls down to a denial of service as the ready to restore screen.   My Equium A100-147 has 1 VGA and 1 S-Video output, so I use the VGA output on an external LCD monitor with a native resolution of 1680x1050@60hz, but integrated graphics Intel 945 card doesn t give me the correct resolution to choose for this monitor, the closest is 1600 x 1200 and some weird widescreen resolutions other that make my monitor see the scaling an ugly picture.

  So I tested another external monitor with a native resolution of 1920 x 1200 resolution closest gave me Intel drivers is 1920 x 1080, even the installation of two drivers of monitors, remove and reinstall the driver and same formatting the machine and reinstall everything from scratch gave no different results.

  I have another laptop MSI Wind with the same graphic card built in and the same version of the pilot, and the laptop detects both the monitor and the good resolutions for them, this isn't a problem of Monitor driver.

  Seems to me that is a problem with the S-video output, which makes this mess, but there is no way to disable it in the BIOS or any other place in Device Manager I still seem.
