Error: ch.dunes.login.ldap.LdapElementGeneric

Hello

When you try to configure the plugin and even during the test of the LDAP user I get this error:

Error: ch.dunes.login.ldap.LdapElementGeneric

I've seen people talk about the VMO Admin group etc, but I don't have such group on my ad... must be manually created? What is a bond?

Also, is this info anywhere in the Administrator's Guide?

Kind regards

Nuno

Yes you have greate this group in AD.

For example: create the Group vmoadmins and a vmoadmin1 and make him member of vmoadmins

then set in the group attribute:

CN = vmoadmins, CN = Users, dc = mydomain, dc = local

This should help

    Hello

I see errors in the plugin vCenter. Sometimes, you must reinstall the ssl certificate, configure the vCenter again and after a server rebooted just fine. If you can navigate in the objects of vCenter as in your screenshot, everything should be good. Make sure that the user in the config has administrator rights.

Original title: problem: Guest account does not work even after activation due to profile problems.

After you activate the guest on this system account tries to log in under this account to fail with the message "Failed to load the user profile". According to the information I found online about this error, I checked HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList to see if a key exists since comments (it isn't). I also checked the Windows application log and found the following entries:

    I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate x 64 edition.

    Christopher S. Charabaruk

    Well guys,.

The simplest solution is to read what the error.

    "Cannot copy file C:\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live\SqmApi\SqmData720896_00.sqm"

I tried a lot of suggestion, but delete the file crazy and that's all working again.

Beter first remove windows live as well. I only have the first and received the message that something is wong with the installation.

    Hope this has been helpful.

  • Cisco TelePresence error Content Server Login

Cisco TelePresence Content Server v5.3 build 3316

When I try to log in to Cisco TelePresence Content Server, it is not verfying the administrator username and password. Later, I have to enter link below and enter the administrator username and password and it is letting me.

    http://10.7.1.38/TCS/#page:login & rescue: true

    Kind regards

    Mohammad

    Hi Mohammad,.

The link you are trying is the TCS rescue mode. The reason for its non audit admin uname & pwd you might have changed the authentication settings on the site settings page. If authentication earlier was local and you have changed domain or LDAP then TCS will try to authenticate by using this mechanism and will not take admin local credentails.

To avoid this, once connected via rescue link, create a user with admin rights

Configuration > users and groups > add users and group > add a user with rights to site manager

Log out and then try looging with the user that you created. It works perfectly.

This also happens when earlier you use domain authentication and you've changed your LDAP authentication or vice versa. Creation of the user with rights to site manager is so important before you change the authentication mechanism.

    Hope this information helps.

Please rate if you find it useful.

    Kind regards

I have no idea on the net about this error, any ideas?

Thank you very much and best regards!

Looks like you are trying to create a user with an attribute that is unique in the directory, but already belongs to someone.  Do some research in your directory.

This happens usually when the user database of WCC is given role 'sysadmin '.

Via SQL Server Management console, delete the "sysadmin" of the WCC database user role.

    It should solve the problem.

Note: The default roles defined for the user of the WCC JDBC (default value is "DEV_OCS") by the regional coordination unit are only:

    Server role: Public

The database role membership for: contentserver_role, Public

  • Unable to connect to the Client Orchestrator uses SSO

I installed vCenter Orchestrator 5.1.1 and have successfully registered with SSO. If I try to connect via the "Test connection" tab on the site web of vCO Configuration, I get a message saying 'user successfully connected '. However, if I try and log in as the same user via the Orchestrator Client (on the Orchestrator server itself or another PC) I am unable to connect. I get a message in the client saying "invalid username/password name. The newspaper of Orchestrator, I get an error saying:

ERROR [VcoFactoryFacade] unable to connect (Ex: javax.security.auth.login.LoginException: unable to connect (reason: ch.dunes.login.ldap.LdapElementGeneric cannot be cast to ch.dunes.login.ldap.LdapUser))

I tried to connect as a different user accounts and admin, but they all make the same mistake.

Anyone has an idea what means this error and how can I solve this problem?

This problem is now resolved. I added our source of advertising identity to the list of default domains via the web client of vSphere in 'Administration - Sign-On and discovery - Configuration '. Then I rebooted the vCO and vCO Server Configuration Server in the web Configuration Orchestrator console in "Startup Options". I was then able to connect via the Orchestrator client.

  • LDAP search error

    Hello

Every time when I'm trying to search for a user, I get an error: an error occurred during the LDAP search: check the application logs.

    In the newspapers, I get:

[LDAP: error code 49 -80090308: LdapErr: IDDM-0c 090334, comment: AcceptSecurityContext error, given 525, vece]

Documentation, I understand that the 525 error occurs when the user has not found.

However, I do not understand if the user i.e. error making reference to the user, I'm looking for him, or she is the one whom I do authentication on the server.

    Best regards

The full stack of the FMS log trace can be useful.

Have you tried to use a LDAP browser to validate the LDAP account name and the password that is used?

  • Create user IOM - LDAP synchronization error

    Hello world

When I try to create a user of IOM on create screen of the user, an error occurs.

    Error:
IAM-2050243: process of Orchestration with the id 296394, failed with error 3010201-IAM: LDAP create event failed: failed to get LDAP connection and the root cause is - cannot create the connection

I guess that this error associated with the LDAP synchronization. But I do not want to synchronize any LDAP server. I want to create this user in a single database of IOM.

How can I solve this problem?
How can I cancel the LDAP synchronization?

    Thank you.
    Best regards.

Visit this link to disable the LDAP synchronization.

  • VMControl error - 3: invalid arguments: Login failed - when you use VMWARE-CMD

    Hello

I had a VM that does not - I received the error "the system returned error. Communication with the virtual machine has maybe stopped'.  I had a glance communities and found a lot of useful suggestions, mostly related to the use the VMWARE-CMD.

Now I have 8 ESX 3.0.2 servers in a cluster and when I ssh to the console on the other 7 I have no problem running a VMWARE-CMD, but on this particular host that contains the virtual machine, I get VMControl error-3 error: invalid arguments: Login Failed - I get this if I try a getstate/start/stop/restart you name!  I get it even if I just try VMWARE-CMD - l.

Has anyone had a similar problem?  Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

I think that the vmware agent does not connect somehow.

    Try this.

Right-click on the host in VI and unplug

Connect directly to the host via VI and remove users from vmware

connect to the host via ssh.

go to/etc/vmware/ssl remove these certificates, there should be only 2.

    run: service mgmt-vmware restart

They wait about 2 minutes and reconnect the host.  You will lose no VM configuration or, but who can help with the problem of vmware-cmd.

  • Forms running through OC4J fail with an incorrect "login/pwd" error

We have a new developer working on Oracle Forms, and while they are able to establish a connection while developing in Forms Builder, when they try and run the form, they get an error "incorrect password/login" and then the login dialog box appears.

If the same user enters their credentials in this dialog box, the form hangs. If another developer with the same rights of database authenticates on this screen, they connect. If we use the schema owner login, everything works. I tried to set their password to something without special characters, even failure. I added a new user (with the role of developer in our database), no luck.

The only thing I can think of what happens is that we have not added a new developer in the ranks, since we went from the Oracle 10.1.0.4 for 11.1.0.7 db. Is there an extra right I provide that other developers (and owner of schema) was grandfathered in with?

    Thank you
    Chuck

Nothing has changed in OC4J or whatever; This setting is available for Oracle 11 GR 1 material, and it is a known fact that forms cannot deal with passwords that are case sensitive in DB 11 g (search the Forum, you will find tons of examples). So while in db 10g and under the passwords are not case sensitive it didn't matter, but as you moved from 10.2 to 11.1 you hit this one. When you perform an upgrade using dbua of 10 g and 11 g 10 g passwords are not affected and remain in '10 g format. Query DBA_USERS; There is a password_versions column that indicates if the password is 10 g or 10 g and 11 g compatible. When you create a new user in 11g password is created 10g and 11g compatible (new - query dba_users). Therefore, there is no harm in changing this parameter, except that you are able to connect again with the forms.

    see you soon
