Error message "press ENTER to align cartridges".

PSC 2210: After having installed the new cartridge, message "press ENTER to align cartridges" will not disappear. Said HP blog Setup and hold and press Options, which does not work. HP technical support will not answer me and only offers to sell me a new printer for $99.00

Now I am answering my own question. HP site does not say that the Options buttons and Setup must be kept pressed at the same time not independently. Now it works. It's all the support Tech had to say instead of trying to sell me a new printer and they would not. Nor would they say even here is the answer, pay US $20.00.

What is the difficulty that these cartridges are expensive!

    Hi @xandux,

I see by your post printing went on the right side, you tried a new cartridge and have the same results. I can help you today.

I would like to do a hard reset to see if that will solve the problem.
Let the printer and disconnect the printer cable and the wall socket for 60 seconds.
Reconnect the power cable to the output of the printer and the wall, and not a surge protector.
This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

Follow the steps is this document to see if it will help resolve faded printing.

    Missing, faded or dull colors.

Print the self-test on the printer hardware to see if it's a hardware or software problem.

    You use genuine HP cartridges?
    What are the ink levels?

Let me know the results of the test pages of the document.

    Good day!
    Thank you.

  • On the printer error message - remove and check right cartridge

How to fix the error message: "remove and check right cartridge" you've done many times, and nozzle cleaning cartridge. Also, I turned off printer, but nothing has changed for HP Officejet 7210 all-in-One help needed

I finally removed the theoffendin cartridge and replaced by a new HP cartridge and, now, my printer works great - no error message and printing is perfect.  The 'bad' cartridge was a remanufactured, which has worked well up to this point, but I will in the future hold with HP.  Hope this will help you.

  • Could not load any websites. I don't get any 'error message', the 'enter' key has no effect in the address bar. Works fine in FF and IE search box.

Entering a URL in the address bar and pressing on enter does nothing. Or the 'enter' key or 'address arrow bar', to go to the site function. Web site does not load and no error message appears. 'Enter' key works very well in the FF and IE search box, is not my keyboard.

Tried most of the recommended fixes under the "Error loading websites" article with the exception of "DNS refetching", as typing "about:config" in the location bar does no good as the "enter button" won't function. I've removed and re-added FF back into the windows firewall, removed ZoneAlarm from my system, edited proxy settings, deleted and reinstalled FF several times. NOTHING WORKS!!! I'm a die hard FF fan and this is KILLING me. Please HELP!!!

To change black cartridge - the "Press ENTER to align cartridges" message.  I can't find a way to clear the message, I think I've tried everything...  Copy / scan functions do not work - print works very well.  Suggestions?

1 try to remove the ink cartridges.

    2. close the printer's front access door

    3. turn the printer off.

    4. disconnect the power cable on both ends of the printer

5 wait about a minute or two.

6 reconnect power cord then turn on printing.

7 wait until you will be asked to insert the ink cartridge.

8 insert the ink cartridge when you are prompted, and then follow the on-screen instructions.

    9. Insert plain white paper and follow the on-screen instructions. It should align the printer.
