Error recovery system...

Hello..

I use Hp pavilion g6 2020se and recently upgraded to win8 win 7 Home Basic.

Files Windows are under C: drive that is 100 GB (resized earlier), logical partition. Hard disk also contains the recovery partition.

I want to downgrade to win 7. I tried to use the F11 key, but did not work. Then I went to hp recovery discs. I opted for the "System Recovery" so that my only C: drive would be formatted and restored with the original image 7 win.  When I clicked on continue, a message pops up saying 'the destination drive is not connected. What it means?

I want to know if the recovery partition is useless after upgrade to win 8 so that I can delete the partition to save 20gigs... F11 does not work as I mentioned earlier.

In addition, the above message appears when using recovery discs. How can I do a system recovery to win 7 image factory, leaving the other partitions, that is.

I am using win 7 retail discs and activation but wish to restore using HP recovery disks

Help, please...

Hello

I think you mean demoted instead of the upgrade.

When you resized the partition you have removed the ability to use the F11 key after turning on your laptop. You can delete the recovery partition if you wish. As you know by now, Unfortrunately, change the OEM partition scheme can lead to unexpected results. You can remove the hard drive, put it in an envelope and connect to another PC to transfer the data that you want would be a very good idea at this point.

After replacing the drive in Notepad, use the factory image recovery option. Which should return your laptop to the State in which it was delivered. Factory Image recovery will eliminate all current partitions and return them to the factory OEM condition, as it is meant to do.

Best regards

ERICO

  • Satellite L45 recovery stops at 17% - ERROR: 10-FC12 - 045D - error recovery

Well, the other day my L45 frozen, so I restarted it-to find that was missing a file of the operating system.

So, I tried the system restore, and it ran until the end where he said he had a problem and closed.
Then I tried the recovery disks. He ran everything from disc 1 to disc 2, began to restore, and then stopped at 17% restored.
I tried the disks several times again and again, it stops at 17% and gives me "ERROR: 10-FC12 - 045D"-"error recovery".

I looked everywhere for this error is specific to, but got no results.

Really, I don't think you can find explanations for this mistake because Toshiba use software RECO for the installation of the OS. My experience says that, in this case, there are two possibilities: either is defective recovery CD/DVD or HARD drive do some problems.

I recommend getting the facilities original Microsoft CD and try to install clean Windows if the facilities procedure finishes successfully. If maybe it is really defective HARD drive and after 17% there is a bad sector.

Check it out. In any case I recommend you contact the service provider authorized in your country. They can say with certainty what the problem is here.

  • Windows error recovery, "load failed with error 1009 (STHIVE #0).

    Hello world

This problem occurred to me yesterday. When I started windows, there is here a dialog box saying "Windows Error Recovery" and below, is

"Unable to start Windows. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. "(I don't remember changing anything)

"If windows files have been damaged or misconfigured, startup can help diagnose and fix the problem. If the power was interrupted during startup, choose Start Windows normally. »

There are two options it saying

    -Launch Startup Repair tool

    -Start Windows normally

When I clicked on start Windows normally, seems that Microsoft Corporation loading bar never ends

When I clicked launch a startup repair... A box named "Startup Repair" appeared, saying "Startup Repair is checking your system for problems..." "But after that, it seems that nothing had changed. When I opened my laptop once again, he went to the dialog box saying "Windows Error Recovery" again.

  • Options recovery system for Satellite A300D - 14 d

    Hello

I'm having some problems with the system Rocevery Options on A300D - 14 d

I installed Fedora 9, BUT did not uninstall Windows Vista. I mean, the computer now has a dual boot.

All these files on system always here. That hide the partition where is this folder and some files recovery system called HDDRecovery is also there.

Fedora works fine and I can access the all files Vista system, but if I choose Vista it restarts the computer while loading the OS. If I choose the Options of the Rocevery system, I got:

    * + The installed program cannot start. Click OK to turn off the computer. + *

Indeed, he turns off the computer if I click OK.

I also tried to install Windows XP, but after checking, system installation just stops at a black screen and won't forward.

Is it possible to do a startup and system recovery disk? Do not forget that I can't start Windows Vista.

    Thank you

    Hi again,

It is resolved. I was getting an error 0 x 24, which I couldn't see before because the error of the report was disable.

I downloaded the Windows Vista Recovery Disc available [here | http://neosmart.net/blog/2008/windows-vista-recovery-disc-download/] and he picked up the system.

For sure I am now a recovery DVD. I didn't know that this laptop has a system of recovery only inside the HD.

    Thank you

  • Equium A210 - error - operating system not found

    Hi guys

I'm new on this Yes, you can be sweet. I have an Equium A210, 2 years old.
Everything was fine until today when it goes off.

I thought that it might overheat because he felt hot so cool.
When I turned it back I get the error "Operating system"... not found This is accompanied by a constant clicking noise coming from under the laptop!

    Any ideas anyone?

    Thank you very much

This error is known to me.
    I had too!

It appeared after the death of my HARD drive.

I think the BIOS does not recognize the HARD drive and therefore the operating system is not found.

To me, it seems that you need to replace the HARD drive and then you could install the OS on the Toshiba recovery disc.

    Good bye

  • Question - loop on Satellite L350-170 Windows error recovery

Toshiba Satellite L350-170 - Intel Pentium Dual Core T3200 2.00 GHz, 2 GB, 250 GB, 17 "TFT, DVDSM, VHP

My wife bought three weeks ago. Use of the lamp. Everything works fine, until a dialogue of "Startup Repair" appeared. Since then, the machine starts.

    Machine goes into "Windows Error Recovery" immediately after the Toshiba start screen and has the following options;
    (1) run the Startup Repair tool
    (2) start Windows normally

Option 2 results in a blank screen and finally goes back to the screen "Windows Error Recovery".

    Option 1 has the reboot dialog box;

"Your computer was unable to start.
Startup Repair is checking your system for problems... »

At this point, the Toshiba laptop enters an endless loop.

So what I do now? There is no disc came with the laptop, so I can't reinstall the operating system. The dealer (Comet) is less useful and don't know no refund or Exchange for a defective product.

    Can someone please!

    Try this:

Press F8 immediately after that the laptop has been turned on.
Then choose the first option called fix my computer.
Then a new window should open and there you can choose the option called Toshiba recovery.

Please note then this procedure would start the Toshiba HDD recovery and the BONE to relocate again. This would be to format the whole HARD drive and set the OS to the factory settings.

In my eyes, you can use this procedure for recovery of HARD drive, or you can try to reinstall the OS using the Toshiba recovery disc.
Both lead to the same results

    Good bye

Well I tried to remove it with Norton / windows Defender / 1-2-3 anti spy on (from my U3 flash drive) well after 15 minutes my computer crashed.
So I inserted the recovery disk and whenever I get to half way he writes:

    Error recovery.
Please press ok to turn off the computer.
    ===============================================

and so I do, and then the system starts and then shows this:

    BOOTMGR IS MISSING
PLEASE PRESS CTRL + ALT + DELETE TO RESTART YOUR STSTEM.

    What can I do?

    Thank you
    Darkmage

    Hello

I think there could be something wrong with the HARD drive I n t mean that the disc is faulty, but maybe a few corrupted partitions or whatever

So it would be desirable, and recommend that you format the HARD drive first.
Usually, this should be done using the Toshiba Recovery DVD but try to format the HARD drive using an original CD of Windows XP.

After the HARD drive has been formatted, try to start again using the Toshiba Recovery DVD

  • Error recovery Windows on Equium A210

I have a series of A210 running Vista. When you turn on the laptop, I get "Windows recovery error. I then get two options 'Launch start repair' or 'Start windows normally', if I select 'Launch Startup Repair' I get a message: "system recovery options. Cannot start the installed program. Click OK to turn off the computer "by selecting"Start windows normally"round loop"Windows error recovery"message."

This message appeared without any previous problems with the laptop or Vista.

Any ideas on how I'll be back to normal use?

    Hmmm don't look good buddy.
According to your message, you are not able to boot in Vista or using of the * "Launch Start up repair" * or * "Start windows normally" * procedure

Unfortunately, I put t see any other possibility as to take the disk recovery and recovery of the laptop.

It looks like a serious system problem that can be solved only by using the recovery disc and reinstall new OS.
But note; the recovery disc formats the drive HARD integer for you will lose all data :(

  • Error recovery MStudioDAQmx.2010.msm dependence * URGENT

I have a solution, Visual Studio 2012, targeting .NET 4.0 with a project of installation program InstallShield 2015. There are two projects in the solution containing references to:

    NationalInstruments.DAQmx 15.5.40.109 and

    NationalInstruments.Common 15.1.40.49152

This is the DLL that is contained in the 'in progress' folder for the download of 15.5 DAQMX.

In an attempt to build the Setup program I get two errors in Installshield

    -4072: error recovery addiction Module_Id_Common_2010_32:1033 to c:\program files (x 86) \common files\merge modules\MStudioDAQmx.2010.msm

    -4072: error recovery addiction Module_Id_Common_2010_32:1033 to c:\program files (x 86) \common files\merge modules\MStudioDAQmx.2010.msm

I assume that it is a mistake by project.

I have urgent need to deploy an updated installation and I'm completely stuck at this point. I tried to add these prerequisites through explicitly in the MSM file (since it has two or three prerequisite showing all with the same generic name and no way to tell them apart) and it did not help. I searched my entire PC for this MSM file and it only appears in the directory named in the error message is not any kind of difference between the different versions in different folders.

In fact, I DIDN'T have to group the installer of data acquisition (manually install us the runtime anyway) but I can't seem to find a way to stop the system to detect and want to consolidate.

    The problem is two-record:

    1. the problem does NOT occur on the DAQmx 15.1 it happens to 15.5; If the project is built with DAQmx installed 15.1, dependence analysis works perfectly and the project builds

    2. due to the #1, InstallShield points to the modules of NEITHER say "DAQmx is not an InstallShield module, and since he has just updated their module you should contact the vendor of the module.

I bypassed myself the problem by adding specifically excludes for DAQ in the Installshield include/exclude XML files so that the dependency scanner would go against the DLL DAQmx 15.5 and then manually including the DLL required two in my project.

Now an option if safe mode or normal.it appears.to.start booting.and then just be going empty screen or error message. I do not have the original vista disc and do not have access to one. Any other suggestions?

If you have problems locking it with the disk, let us know.

You can make a tool of startup repair, System Restore, etc from a disk of Vista from Microsoft:

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/repair-Windows-with-Windows-Startup-Repair/

But to do a repair upgrade installation, Vista runs in Normal Mode not Safe Mode.

    See you soon.
