How much time do you have this computer? I ask, because it is possible that your fan is clobbed with dust. If you need to clean your system of cooling as soon as possible to ensure that no dust is your machine so noisy.

A good way to do it is to buy a can somewhere in an electronic market with compressed air and blow some air trough the cooling system to remove dust from the cooling components (heatpipe, fan´s, end, etc.).

Then, your machine should run much quieter. But if not, then please send your machine to a partner of service agreed with the advice to check the cooling system and thermal grease on the processor.

Here´s a link to a index of ASP to find nearest partner service available in your country:

  • Satellite A215-S4747 screen does turn off not moored with Dynadock.

I am now running XP on my new laptop and I am VERY happy that I could find all the necessary drivers. A behavior while also happening is when Vista has been loaded, it is that I could not get the laptop screen turns off when it is docked. I have searched and read and followed the instructions to the letter. I'm not not a newbie lazy posting before search... it just doesn't happen as it should.

If someone managed to solve this problem, please guide me to the promised land!

The feature you are requesting cannot be provided by the Dynadock.
It's a USB-dock worker with a generation of additional graphics card in and no docking solution.
The only thing you can do is disable any action when you close the lid in power management, then close the laptop screen when it is docked with Dynadock.
The display is off when you close the display cover.

I have a problem with my laptop Satellite M40X, I work when the LCD turn off and I hear two PIF. To turn on the LCD screen I need to restart the laptop, but the problem persists after a few minutes.

    Can someone help me, please.

    Hello

Here you can compare the version of the BIOS installed on the laptop with the one published on the page of the Toshiba driver.
If you use the older BIOS, you can try to update. Maybe the update will sort this strange behavior.

But there could also be a hardware malfunction if the BIOS update does not help.

I'm not an expert "fan".  I am not a fan-only diagnosis, but you may certainly a complete diagnostic on the computer system to find out what you can about the condition of the equipment.

Try to push the power cord firmly upward.  It should not move when it is completely inserted.

  • How turn off/backlight on Satellite A100 (PSAACE)?

Is it possible to turn off the display and the backlight of the A100? There are 8 levels of backlighting, but none to turn it off. My previous journal had this feature, and I use it quite often.

I assume you mean the brightness display function which could be resolved with the FN + F6 and FN + F7 key combination.
No, it of not possible to completely disable the backlight.
Something like that is not possible.

Of course, you can set the time to the power of monitor off option in the Toshiba power saver.

  • Screen turns off when the Satellite A45-S250 is moved in the direction of less

    Hello.

I have a satellite A45-S250. I had no previous problem with this machine. However, when the computer is running too long, or it is moved in the slightest way the screen turns off. I don't even have to type very slowly - or I lose the screen.

But also, as I have said - sometimes I won't even be near the computer and the screen turns off. When I lose the screen if the light shines on it - I can see, it's always VERY fair Sun. Generally, it will come if I use the FN + F5 button.

I don't know if it is a screen problem or a connection problem. It occurs with increased frequency. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

    Thank you

  • Could not turn off not disturb

    Hello
I turned on do not disturb, restarted my phone and now I can not turn, do not disturb off the coast. I can change the volume through settings and the phone rings while Do not disturb is activated.
The restriction is that I can't change the volume using volume keys or do not bother go far. Work volume keys, I tested with Diagnostics. When I press one of them, I see the icon of DND and a now key that does not work when they are hit. Here too, I can change the volumes of media and alarm, but not the volume of the ringtone is specific to DND.
Restart the phone, or to go in safe mode does not help somehow.
    Please notify

Okay, so I fixed it and it occurs once after that. The solution is to reboot the phone and press the volume key to turn the volume down until reach you vibrator, continue to press until a message appears next to the end key now, moment at which the button will finally work and finally turn off DND. The message goes something like this: 'until the DND's off... ' Nolramlb thanks for the tip by pressing the volume keys upward on several occasions, it obviously helped a lot.

  • Computer doesn't turn off not except by a forced shutdown

My computer shuts down only about half the time, or maybe less, and then I have to force a stop to the bottom by pressing the Start button on the computer.  I use IE 11 and Windows 7 and this problem started a month ago but I don't remember not something unusual is going on when it started.  Sometimes I let it just keep running and showing that he stops, and when I come back later to check it out, sometimes it is an icon in the task bar stating "Windows".  I can click on and close the icon & then it stops.  But it happened only about three times.  Usually he just keep running and showing it to stop until I have to force a stop down.

Sometimes, when it starts all first, it flashes a message that a window is not closed and I have to click 'Cancel' and close the window.  But it's frozen so does not help by clicking Cancel.  I was always very careful to close all windows and usually turn off the computer at night.

Of course, I'd appreciate any help with this problem.  wannierob

    Hello Wannierob,

    Thanks for the quick response.

This scenario usually indicates a problem with the hardware. Alternatively, the driver can cause this problem. To identify the problem, check the following:

    1 overclocking
: turn off overclocking to see if the problem occurs when the system is running at the correct speed.

    2. check the memory: check the memory using a memory controller. Check each memory chip is the same speed and that it is configured correctly in the system.

    3. power supply: make sure the power supply is enough power to properly manage installed devices. If you have added memory, installed a newer processor, installed additional disks or added to external devices, such devices may require more energy that the current power supply can provide constantly.

4 overheating: check if the system is overheated by examining the internal temperature of the equipment.

    5. default values: use the default values of the system, and run the system.

If you see that the computer generates a Stop error message that contains a BugcheckCode value that is not declared in an event ID 41, change the behavior of the computer restarts. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. right click on my computerand then click Properties.

    2. click on Advanced system settings.

    3. click on the Advanced tab.

    4. in the Startup and recovery section, click settings.

    5. Click to uncheck automatically restart .

  • Slow cooling switch fan turns very frequently on Satellite Pro A60

I own an A60 Pro of the Satellite with 512 MB of RAM. I observe that the cooling of the processor fan fires often enough even if I do not use the PC and no application is running with the exception of some services (like antivurs).
I also observed that the closing phase is quite slow (a few minutes). I don't know if it is related to overheating prblem.

    Does anyone have a suggestion?

    Thanks in advance
    Marco

    Hello Marco

It is not possible to give you an accurate diagnosis, but please check the background all running processes. Maybe a lot of them are useless but force the activity of the CPU and the CPU must be cooled.

Of course close phase needs a lot of time to stop all the processes underway. Check some of these activities and disable Windows startup for all processes, you do not need.
