  I have thousands of DNG files processed by the versions of ACR that came with CS4 and CS5. I expected to reprocess some of them with later versions of ACR accompanying the CS6.   The extent of the installed software is minimal, (only notable is Office 10, digital meal)

  (Digital software dining room is for the POS system), this computer is not the main computer that is running the POS system

  This computer is just linked to the actual POS in bar. (I stop this program and does not affect the)

  I wonder if raw processing base in Lightroom is better, equal to or worse than the raw processing engine in Photoshop? If you do not need of cataloguing, then why use LR when you can do it in photoshop?

  None - raw processing is the same in LR and Camera Raw.

  LR makes it just easier to work with a large number of RAW files.

  We are moving a windows application for win 2008 r2. The application uses batch files. Calls from the source server to the Server 2008 r2 target do not run the command as expected file even if you use PSEXEC. The-d option works from the source in SQL2000 but not asynchronous and-i returns an error. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

  I bought one of the new Nikon D600 but LR 4 cannot recognize files NAVE D600.  When will there be an update that will fix this?

  I suggest that you look rather manuals. The [database Oracle® utilities | http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14215/part_ldr.htm#i436326] section 3 manual covers SQL * Loader overall. Including a section that deals with a variety of examples in detail - you should find in one of the examples that shares much in common with the data you want to load and then use parameters of configuration of the example as a solid reference point.

  Why SQL * Loader? Because an external table name SQL * Loader module to load the data. Any settings that you set in an external table to a data load, corresponds to the parameters in a SQL * file the charger control.

  If you have determined all the settings to use to load your data, then refer to the [Oracle® database SQL Reference | http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14200/statements_7002.htm#i2095331] Manual of the CREATE TABLE command for details on how to code a definition of the external table.

  I also suggest that you first of all simplify the problem. Create a file of text (CVS) of 3 lines with 2 columns by as and then create an external table to load that. Once you understand the basics, this is a step much smaller to combat the data file more complex and create an external table definition to load successfully.

• Processing multiple files makes more pixelated?

  I have pictures for my online store which can be really big zoom without distortion.  So I leave the dpi to 300, and run several tests on my mac all with the exact same start/size of the picture everything.

  1. I'm resizing in PSE 14 without using several files processing.

  2. I'm resizing in PSE 14 using several files processing.

  3. I resize preview and don't use all PSE.

  In these contexts - each time, the size of the file is greater with PSE with preview (547KO vs 114ko) - which is a big problem when I have lots of images per page.  The quality of these tests are all to minimal difference range - it is negligible.  However, the quirks start when I add a watermark to the image by using the function 'treat multiple files' - this is where it goes south on me!  Using the preview resized OR resized ESP - anyone, as soon as they get a watermark (and we are talking about only a line of tiny text at the bottom right), the quality gets worse.

  After tattooing, the size of the file on the PES to PES "multiple files" resize watermark (test 1) version will 547KO to 79 KB - and the photo quality is a noticeable difference as well.  Using the preview resized, then PSE "multiple files" (test 2) for watermark, it passes from 114 kb to 83 KB.  Not much difference in size - but I would not have expected a big difference in both cases honestly since I'm not actually resizing - but only watermarking.  But the quality of 'Trial 2' is still significantly different from the version "nothing other than the Preview" without watermark (hands down better on the version without watermark).

  I'm completely stumped on how to make good quality, very "zoomable", a watermark images that remain small in size, while maintaining quality.  Any help is greatly appreciated!

• Batch processing hundreds of Illustrator files?

  Our software has thousands of icons all created in Illustrator and we need batch export all icons of hundreds of .ai files. I'm curious to know what are the solutions other people have developed?

  Here's a list of what we are trying to do:

  • Ability to be called from the command line
  • Ability to pass in what files process
  • Ability to run scripts in the House on the loaded file
  • Ability to spend in the folder target to place the generated files
  • Ability to close Illustrator when we finished

  I'd like to hear if any other developers have faced this problem, and how they have solved. I imagine that other developers have faced this problem?

• Folio Builder content generation error: error processing files

  Using the latest version of PC of Indesign CC I get this error.

  The indesign document is a document of multistate. At some point after you add States, I can't update the document in foliobuilder more and get (translated from the Dutch right Synax may be different):

  I tried things like:

  -with the help of another userID folio/Adobe

  -put filed of LAN 2 (with the reissue of links)

  -removal of several States (at one point, the issue is resolved, but when I add new States the problem is reintroduced)

  -the document splitting (2 x 10 States does'nt fix this)

  -added several States (making copies and do not change content yet) it works. As soon as I start changing the content this error comes back.

  Please suggestions!

  It took me a lot of time, but I think I finally found the answer.

  In 'Names of State', spaces are allowed, but if your total of spaces in the names of all the 'State' in a folio is about more than 45 you get this problem.

  My solution is not to use spaces in "names of State." I don't have problems with & - or.

• Photoshop Elements 11 - problem when processing multiple files - change the size of the image

  When you change the size of several images with file - process several files (or batch processing, however it is called on the menu in English)

  There seems to be a bug in Version 11.

  Regardless of my entries, that the file size is reduced to under 10% of the original value, such as 4 MB to 350 KB.

  Even if I don't score no parameter for a change of size and also, do not change the format, the file size is decreased.

  The entries in the properties / details of the converted jpg correspond to the settings in the menu, but the actual size is very small.

  Seems that PES 11 has low values in the default settings in the background and does not take into account all entries.

  In the old version 9, the same function worked without problem.

• PES 10 - problem prevents the watermark color setting when processing multiple files using

  I use the batch processing under file > processing of multiple files.  I put the watermark with my text you want, post, police, font size, opacity and color white.  However, every time I come back to deal with another batch of color goes back to the default blue color instead of white that I initially put.

  Does anyone else have this problem?  Are there patches?

  I use Photoshop Elements 10 on a Mac under Lion.

  At least on windows the color always seems to default to the color set as the foreground color in the Toolbox.
