The average best absolute to ensure that you will always connect to wired and not wireless is to disable wireless on your computer. Just note that you need to re-enable it if you ever want or need to use wireless internet.

To enable or disable the radio on your computer: click on START, then Contorl Panel, then Device Manager. Right click on the wireless adapter , then click on disable.

To reactivate, simply click in the same place, which should read allow.

  • I need to control my camcorder sony via LANC connection

I need to control my Sony camcorder via LANC connection.  At the moment, I can control the camera through Tera term, through the serial port of the computer, via a LANC Sony controller card to the camera.  I would build a LabView program where I can click on the buttons to control the camera via the serial port.  Example: power zoom; Zoom out; etc...  I know that orders to control the camera because I typed them, Tera term.  How to associate orders with buttons in LabView for run commands?

    Thanks for your help.

Before there was a structure of the event, everyone had to use a while loop with a case statement. At each iteration of the loop, the value of the control to the case statement must be read. This was/is called mark and used a bit of resources on the computer. With the structure of the event, nothing runs until an event is happening - no vote office and the resources of the computer used are minimal.

The data event node returns different information depending on the event and the control that raises the event. In the example that you cite, the NewVal is connected to the structure of the case. It is the same thing that the control wiring, but in some cases, the command can be placed in a different event. You can have a single event triggered for multiple controls, and in this case, you might want to use the CtrlRef (control reference) to determine the actual control. There are a lot of possibilities.

The option button is an enum. The case statement must match the enum values. Those who are not visible in the example. Right-click on one of the controls, then select the visible items > Label. If you change this, you will see the value in the change of the case statement.

In order to send hex, you can simply right-click on your control station / constant and select "hexadecimal display. You can also use the Typecast and an array of bytes to a string. This question has been asked and answered hundreds (or even thousands) of times and there many examples of programs attached to these positions. Do a search.

  • Loss of wireless connection on Satellite Pro L10

I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro L10, with wireless capabilities built-in. I recently bought an ADSL Modem Belkin Wireless G Router. My desktop PC can connect to the internet via cable and cannot therefore have my laptop. However, when I connect to the internet via wireless connection my laptop sometimes everything stops. This isn't something to signal that I'm only about 2 feet from the router, and it is not that I can't connect to the internet, as I am on this at the moment. Is that in a few minutes, the connection will be lost and I can't seem to find what I can do about it.

The other problem is that when I click the icon at the bottom right of the screen, the "Wireless network connection" window opens. Here, it shows the wireless network I'm trying to connect and it shows with a strong signal, but it is almost always said not 'connected '. He said never 'connected', even when I am connected to the net and surf away!

Anyone has any ideas at all?

It sounds a little to the Wireless LAN card is unable to obtain a valid IP address.
These interruptions may occur for different reasons.
But especially the new version of the driver Wlan and/or Bios should help resolve these interruptions.

What card Wlan do you use?
If you are using the Intel Wlan card you can also visit the Intel Web site to download the most recent version of the WLan driver.
Please also compare the BIOS version available on the Tosh site with the version preinstalled on your laptop.

Wlan card properties contain some useful options that could improve the quality of the connection. Energy saving options should also be required to check other functions in the tab advanced and disabled.

  • Faxing via wireless HP OfficeJet Pro Premium 8600 - Win 7 64B

I'm trying to fax directly from my computer using my P 8600 installed via Wireless.  Printing works fine, faxing from the itsewlf of the printer works fine, just trying to go green.  The driver shows Fax - HP OfficeJet 8600 network, Sami that the printer is configured, but I get the Sendfax error - cannot communicate with printer when faxing. What I'm missing here.

    Hi Brian-DS,

When you did uninstall it and reinstall, did you use a download from hp.com for the re - install?  Otherwise, you could try doing a complete uninstall and then use a download from hp.com for installing the driver.  Click here

If this does not help, I recommend you contact HP to Contact HP worldwidesupport.  They should be able to help understand you what is happening.  It would be good if the agent is able to your computer remotely and all check.

    Wireless router / Internet problems

I am running Windows Vista Home Edition with Security Essentials.  I can connect to my wireless router, but cannot get internet connectivity via Wireless.  If I connect the cable to the port on the router, I get internet connectivity.  Is there a firewall setting that could cause this problem?

    Hello

Your router could be suspicious here, you have successfully updated its firmware as a possible solution? And I would like to
Update your WiFi drivers on computers. How you are positioned in the router? Are there
    obstacles in the path?

Actually try updating your driver and disabling the network logon.

Control Panel - network - write down of the brand and the model of the Wifi - double click top - tab of the driver - write
version - click the driver update (cannot do something that MS is far behind the pilots of certification). Then
Right click on the Wifi device and UNINSTALL - Reboot - it will refresh the driver stack.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

How to install a device driver in Vista Device Manager
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-Device-Manager-install-driver.html

Download - SAVE - go where you put it - right click – RUN AS ADMIN.

You can download several at once however restart after the installation of each of them.

After watching the system manufacturer, you can check the manufacturer of the device an even newer version. (The
manufacturer of system become your backup policies).

Repeat for network (NIC) card and is a good time to get the other updated drivers as Vista like
    updated drivers.

I would also turn off auto update for the drivers. If the updates Windows suggests a just HIDE as they
are almost always old, and you can search drivers manually as needed.

Make sure you know the details of connection to your wireless router - SSID and password.

  • How to display PC on TV via a wireless connection

Discover my computer on my tv

How can I see my computer on my TV? I use a wireless connection and I have a WII connected to the tv and the network?

    Hi Reddogoh,

There are two main options that I see in the connection of your television to the computer. One is a hardware solution by getting a TV tuner card, the second would be a software solution by using your internet connection (this should be a high speed / broad effective solution of the band) to stream TV on your PC. Each of these types has its own unique advantages.

    Hardware solutions (TV Tuner):

First, there is the direct connection method. Examination of the main material here is the tuner TV for your PC card. An example of a vendor for this would be here:http://www.hauppauge.com/. The study in this case is to make sure that you have the right connection from your TV on your PC. There are several types of connections that could potentially work from your TV for PC: coaxial, RCA, S-video and VGA are some of the most common. One of the most interesting types of connection on the site mentioned would be a device which can converts a signal from coaxial cable from the TV to a USB device, which can then be plugged into your computer. One of the benefits of a hardware connection TV is the ability to record live TV, and the software for this feature is often included with the TV tuner. You can use wireless? We can as a type of adapter, but mainly the links are direct.

Solutions software (Streaming and porn TV on broadband):

Software solutions can be very economical because it piggy back on your existing broadband connection. Another advantage would be that the shows can be listened to on request.

Prices can be as low as free, one example beinghttp://www.Hulu.com/ where you can listen to the full episodes of television through a license agreement between the content providers and Hulu.

An example of a subscription model would be http://www.yourfreetelevision.com/ , which is about $30 every month.

So, there are a few options and this should certainly point you in the right direction.

My laptop with Windows 7 (64-bit) can not see the other desktop PC running Windows XP via a wireless connection, except if it is plugged into my laptop so only I can see them on the network.
I checked all the working groups to ensure that all are the same.

However, when my laptop into Wi - Fi, I could see the other wired desktop PC by specifying the network path in "search programs and files" to the start menu in the Windows 7 laptop, I was able to add network folder by specifying the drive letter for the connection and file I want to connect via a right click on the network to connect a network drive...

    6. restart your computer.

Also make sure that NetBIOS over TCP/IP is enabled in the Windows XP computer. To do this, follow these steps.
