G60-120US: cannot install HP Solutions Framework Support

In trying to download the latest touchpad driver, I got a message to install the framework of Solutions from HP Support. I downloaded and had it fail 4 times. 3 times it seemed to install correctly but the HP site would not recognize it. The last time I got an error message on checking if had the authority to install it. I retried with "run as Administrator: 2 times more and still got the same message."

I have that I'm under Win 7 SP1. I can not get online in normal mode but works in safe mode, but I can't even begin to fix this because I can not disable the touchpad with the key on keyboard.

I can't fix anything since each step brings me further down the rabbit hole.

HP support assistant was not able to download. The same thing happened with me. So I uninstalled it completely rebooted and then installed the new version available at http://www8.hp.com/in/en/campaigns/hpsupportassistant/hpsupport.html#.VrA5t9tuJgU
the previous version was crashing and not opening.
To update the driver, you can use this software technical support form or if you know the driver, then you use a laptop to open the hp and with manual detection method select the laptop and then there will be a list of all available drivers. Install manually the link is so

Running OS Build 10586.17 Windows 10, I couldn't installthe Support Solutions Framework.  I always get the following error message attached.

I was able to install the framework of Solutions on a Virtual Machine running the same version of Windows 10 and on my computer hp mini 110-1100 CTO PC without any problem.  Both successful systems were 'new' 10 Windows installs the installation on my Pavilion p7-1010 is an upgrade of a Windows 7 Pro.  I'm guessing that some junk from my previous installation might be the problem, but the error message gives no clue as to what could be the problem.

I'll be happy to get help from this forum.

    John Carney, initiated Windows forever.

Well, I finally solved the problem of installation by reviewing the Setup log file in my ~ temp directory.  It turns out that at some point, I've cleaned too many hp related files in C:\Program Files (x 86) \Hp\Common, i.e. C:\Program Files (x86)\Hp\Common\AclmControl.exe.  I managed to copy a bunch of files of my virtualbox windows 10 install on my local machine and I got the HP Support Assistant to install!

  • HP-P2-1394: HP Solutions Framework Support will not install or uninstall

How do I manually uninstall HP Solutions Framework Support so I can install the latest version?  I need to get the latest updates of firmware for my computer.

I am running Windows 10 (64-bit), but the problem started with Windows 8.1.  When I go to the HP support to verify the updates drivers it says that I need to install the last frame Solutions from HP Support.  I have download the installer from the HP site but when I try to install it, I get the message "cannot find file hpsupportsolutionsframework.msi" - it is impossible to uninstall the existing version.  I try to uninstall from Windows Add/Remove programs and get the same error.  The only thing I've found so far is a couple of third-party software who want $30 for an uninstall program.

    Hello

If you can't the old version uninstalled via the Control Panel---> programs and features, then tryRevo Uninstaller.

Be sure that you choose the right download HP Support Assistant. One is for the office and one for desktop computers.

Thanks for posting on the forum.

  • Re: HP Solutions Framework Support

    Hello

I'm having a probem with HP Solutions Framework Support as well.  When I go to the support page for the driver, I click install now to install the program, but then I get an error.  I enclose a copy of the screen shot that identifies the problem.  The HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE32 key does not exist in my registry sytem, although I HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.  I've also attached a screenshot that as well.

Change the permissions on {HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\ Windows\CurrentVersion\Run} has failed.  I did, however, find the culprit.  I added myself to the following key with total control:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\SharedDlls

After that I restarted the framework of Solutions from HP Support installed without any problems.  Thanks for your help though.  I hope that someone else is having the same problem will find it useful.

  • HP ENVY 23-d055: HP Solutions Framework Support wiped out my HP Support Assistant for Windows 10

I recently upgraded my HP Touchsmart 23-do55 of Windows 8 to 10 of Windows.  I needed to update the drivers for my LaserJet and when I went to the drivers and downloads page, I installed what is called the framework of Solutions from HP Support. This framework has installed a new HP Support Assistant user interface that only shows the printers. It shows all the information to get support for my HP touchsmart, like to see updates HP, updates, Windows, etc. etc.

How to get back my decision assistant in charge of Windows 10, and how can I have two attendants to aid (PC and printers) on my PC?

Never mind. Now I realize that HP Support Assistant is more focused on the PC. The PC is just another device, so I need to open it to show my Windows.

However, if someone in HP is reading this, it would be nice if the UI of HP SUpport Assistant was readable for older eyes. The new user interface uses a very small font in a grey color. It is very difficult for me to read.

  • Cannot install the Solution Center in Windows 7 for HP7310

I have a HP7310xi AIO that works very well until recently.  I've recently updated Win/XP to Win 7 32 bit and the printer software will not be installed correctly.  I downloaded and tried all the diagnostic tools that I can find on this site, nothing helps.  I can print but cannot scan due to lack of Solution Center software.  I want this to be a device connected to the network and part works very well with the printer, but I repeat, it will be no scanner - is network or USB accessory.

I downloaded (several times) the file of the AIO_CDB_Net_Full_Win_WW_130_141 software, which is supposed to install the necessary software, but IS NOT INSTALL the Solution Center.  I tried HPPIW for installation and also HPHNDU and HPPDU for the diagnosis of the printer, and who work very well.  I also tried HPPSdr (who works for the printer, but not scan) and HPSDU, which does not at all.

I still have my original installation CD and I tried, but of course it does not work with Win 7.  I also tried to uninstall the entire software package and then try to re - install, also without success.  It seems that the uninstall process is incomplete, or at least that's my guess.  I tried running also uninstall batch since the original installation CD files (the files to \util\CCC\Uninstall, Uninstall_L1, etc.) and they seem to work, but still the re - install subsequent does not install Solution Center.

I recently ordered the customers a new installation CD, expecting a full installation CD for Windows 7 and receive.  The label of the CD says it's for "HP Officejet 6300, 7200, 7300 all-in-One-series", and also that it is "Version 13.1.0" and "Windows 7" and "Multiple languages"  It is the number of piece CB744-10003 and seems to be exactly what I need.  HOWEVER... This is ACTUALLY ON THE CD!

Usefully, the label gives the following instructions:

Insert the CD in your CDROM drive

    All Windows operating systems:

    (a) click on 'Start' in the task bar, then click on 'run '.

b} type d:\Setup and click OK (where "d" is your CD drive letter"

This is exactly what I expected to see on an installation CD; BUT there is NO "SETUP" FROM THE CD FILE!

The content of the CD is exactly TWO FILES:

    AIO_CDB_Net_Full_Win_WW_130_141.exe, and

    AIO_CDB_Net_Full_Win_WW_130_141.MD5

The first file is the same as I've downloaded several times on your website and many, tried several times to install.

THIS CD DOES NOT CONTAIN WHAT THE LABEL SAYS WHAT IT SHOULD CONTAIN.

I spent a lot of time on the phone with 'Technical Support' (telephone number 1-800-474-6836) and just got a huge evasive.  The best suggestion they could offer was that I should 'upgrade' my printer!  I know the printer is old, and I know that the printer itself is not supported.  However, I expect better than that of a software package that is supposed to take care this device on Windows 7 AIO.

If I can't get this resolved successfully, I'll upgrade my AIO - but it WILL NOT BE ONE OTHER DEVICE HP!

Hmm...  I have an Officejet 7410 similar, I used the same configuration file to install and have used it for a few years on my Windows 7 system.  A few questions:

You have the printer connected by USB or network?

You said that you had upgraded to Windows XP.  Was this a clean install on the XP machine?

Are there any error messages during installation?

There are a few things to try: If the printer is connected with USB, unplug it before you continue.  Navigate to the folder folder (open the Explorer and folder type in the address bar), look for a directory starting with 7z and a date corresponding to when you tried to install the printer.  Go to the util/ccc directory in the 7z... directory and run uninstall_L3, uninstall_L2, and uninstall_L1 files.  (This is the program of uninstalling the version of Windows 7, it might be more effective than the XP uninstall program).  After you run each file three batch restart the computer and log in as a user with administrator privileges.  At this point, run the Setup program.

  • Cannot install Microsoft XNA Framework Redistributable 3.1.

This is my first post so im sorry if I don't give many details about my problem.

Im trying to install Microsoft XNA Framework Redistributable 3.1, but whenever I open it I get a pop-up message saying "Microsoft XNA Framework Redistributable 3.1 requires at least .NET Framework 2.0", but that's not true, I have the .NET Framework 3.5 sp1 installed. Then I uninstalled then re-installed and then tried to install XNA 3.1 switched off, but she appeared again.
I searched many sites to help until I posted it and nobody seems to have my specific problem, im full of ideas, I ran each repair tool of the .NET framework from the Microsoft site and it does not work please someone help me with my problem.
Im running windows vista 32 bit.

I finally solved my problem, it seems that some things from registry were missing for .net 2.0, I discovered because I fell recently an advisor to upgrade to windows 7 and it installed .net 2.0 for me without fail. I hope that if anyone else has this problem, they can do what I did. Cheers!

  • Cannot install Lenovo Solution center 3.2

I have a W520 I've updated from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Lenovo Solution Center gave some error messages about missing items, Solution Center 3.2 installer so downloaded. When I try to run the installer, it is said "the operating system is not enough to operate the Lenovo Solution Center". I uninstalled the 2.8 version to see if that was the problem, but got the same error message. I just reinstalled version 2.8 without any problems.

Thanks, Aryeh, the 64-bit version worked. It is different from what is supposed to be the 64-bit http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/ds104501 version which is lscsetup_x64_32004.exe. On this page even though it says at top it is for 64 bit Windows 10, lower he says that the operating system that is supported is windows 10 32 - bit, so something mГЄlГ.

    Hey @brommmmm,

One thing we know for sure is that your computer and the printer doesn't seem to like. I think that there are problems with your registry that are causing all these different errors, especially since the error log for the program installation continues to point to the registry key: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Hewlett-Packard\Install\ {BCDD692B-17 2D-440-9A1B-501C71D72CC8} for permissions problems. I have a little more suggestions to solve these problems in System.

Step 1: Uninstall your printer software and drivers

Step 2: Run the CCleaner on your computer to fix registry issues:

    CCleaner

Step 3: Unlock hidden Admin account:

    1. Open the display Start again by clicking the Windows start at the bottom of your computer screen icon or by selecting the Windows button in the bottom left of your keyboard to the right of the Ctrl key.
    2. Once the splash screen opens, type command prompt
    3. Once the result of the search for the command prompt appears, do a right click on it and "run as administrator"
    4. Once the command prompt opens type: net user administrator / Active: Yes and press ENTER.
    5. Then, restart your computer
    6. When your computer turns back on, you should be able to log in to the new administrator account that appears. This account will not have a password on it.
    7. If your computer will automatically connect to your normal spending users user account and log on to the administrator account.

    Step 4: Install printer:

    1. Once you are logged into the new account administrator download and run the installation of your printer: HP Deskjet F2400 all-in-One series Full Feature Software and Driver
    2. Start the installation of your printer.
    3. Once the printer installs successfully log on the administrator account and log in to your normal user account. The printer should now be installed on your normal user account.

Step 5: Disable the hidden Admin account:

    4. Once the command prompt opens type: net user administrator / active: No. and press ENTER.
    5. Then, restart your computer

Please respond and let me know if everything works now. Fingers crossed!

  • Photosmart C6180 all-in-one: cannot install the solution on 8.1 Center

I received a message that there was a problem with the Solution Center. I uninstalled, but were not able to reinstall.  I thought that maybe the printer Installation Wizard might help, but that can not install no more. The printer is getting to be about 7 to 8 years, but still works fine. The 8.1 is an upgrade of Windows 8. When I choose the download, nothing happens.

    Hello layor.

    Welcome to the HP Forums.

I see that you have a problem for the printer, re-installed on your computer.

If you have the printer connected to the computer with a usb cable, please remove both ends and pass the cable on the side for now.

Please start by clicking on the following link for uninstall the printer software.  We want to make sure that the old software has been completely removed until we are trying to re - install.

Once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer so that the changes take effect.

When the computer is back on, disable firewalls or anti-virus protection.  We don't want anything blocking the download depending on whether I'm going to give you.

Here is the link for the drivers and software HP Photosmart full feature.  Save this file on the desktop of the computer so that it creates its own icon.  It will be easy to find when the download is complete.

Double-click the new icon and follow the installation instructions.  You will receive connectivity options. If you choose to use a USB connection, do not connect it until you are prompted to do so.

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to write me again at any time.
