Generation report slow when pluged cable network

Hello

I have a very strange problem.

I use the toolkit LabVIEW 2014 and 2014 reporting.  When I have the ethernet cable it takes a long time to build my report in word.  When the Ethernet cable is unplugged I don't have a problem.

Any ideas?

Maybe there's a network printer configured on your system? Some of the report Gen screw address printers on the system, and if there is a problem connecting to one of them, I could see that originally the code slow down.

Most of the screws in the Toolbox are not protected by password, so you could use execution highlighted to see what specific Subvi bogged down.

  • Wireless IP addresses appear as source on cable network address.

If a computer is connected to a wireless network with a pattern of us IP address will tell 192.168.1.0/24 and also then connects to a wired network with a different IP address scheme we will say 192.168.2.0/24 will be the traffic on the cable network never marked with the source IP address of the wireless network card?  I have Wireshark showing packet capture happens in some cases and it eventually causes a large amount of reset TCP traffic.  I don't think that the system would put a package on the cable network IP of the network using wireless as a source address.  Is this normal or desired?

If the cable network becomes available when the wireless network is enabled I guess that packages would continue to be sent wireless.  I do not understand that the local routing table may indicate that the cable network has the lowest metric, but then I would think the wireless session should be reset and the traffic should then be retransmitted via cable connection and therefore be labeled correctly the source IP address of the wired network adapter.

What I see with Wireshark is a packet of "pursuit"data on the cable network with a source IP address of the wireless network card and a registered some IP destination IP address.  Given our network configuration, this package creates a loop of reset TCP between our content security filter and the internel default router that fills our path to the Internet.  This problem started about 2 months ago and so far, all the research I've done are facing a problem with the laptop and have to assume it's an OS problem.  I guess there are some changes to the operating system in the way it handles packets when the cable network comes back online.  I have to wonder "I just missed this before?  I was the administration of the network for years and I'm sure I would have noticed the effects of these representations.

    Any thoughts?

  • RoboHelp 8 runs slow when you use the network drive...

I have several users at my company who improved RoboHelp X 5 RoboHelp 8. They report that when they are working on projects that are located on a network drive, RohoHelp running very slowly (which never seemed to happen before with X 5). I read on several forums that RoboHelp must be used with projects that are on the local drive, but I can't find any formal recommendation to Adobe about it, or have no explanation as to why the network drive doesn't work well, I found. At Adobe all officially commented on it, and no one knows why the performance of the network drive is bad? Is there anything that can be done to allow my users to keep using their network without the poor performance? Thanks in advance for any help you people can provide, I'm stumped.

    Hello and welcome, Robo_Newbie

You're about to become real Robo_Oldie fast

Your projects RoboHelp MUST live on a local drive. You can archive them on a network, but NEVER actually open and change while they are on the network.

The two reasons most people incorrectly assume that they should be on the network is because you want to share with other authors and you want to back up in case your hard drive goes down. These are valid reasons, but it does not work because the. DPC (a cache of the Access database file) usually becomes corrupt - not to mention latency LAN-related performance problems.

Until most of us do is either use the free RoboSource Control that comes with RoboHelp or establishing a manual routine to copy your current job to a LAN for more safety and establish a routine with the other authors who will be working on what, when.

Sorry to break the bad news. That is the reality.

I suggest that you look at this article from Microsoft that can help solve a slow internet connection:
  • Problem of not seeing list drop-down connection to the wireless network when checking connections network - pc windows 7.

Problem of not seeing list drop-down connection to the wireless network when checking connections network - pc windows 7.

I just installed a Belkin modem-router - which went well. Can I connect WiFi gadgets etc. I can also connect to the internet via a network cable to my pc. I also installed a belkin usb wireless adapter and in Device Manager, says it is enabled and works.

My problem is, I have no way of choice get a WiFi PC to display in the list (from the notification area) and cannot get the pc to give me options to create a wi - fi connection. The more I get to try to do that is "unexpected error"!

If someone could help on this - I would be very grateful

Good news - update of my ongoing saga with this Belkin modem/router.

Got the pc to see wi - fi now. It turned out to be the Zone Alarm! As the router has a firewall, I uninstalled Zone Alarm completely. Also, I went into the properties of belkin usb and checked it was the most recent drivers, it does not so I installed them.

    So far so good

    Thanks for the help

  • Inspiron 660 cannot connect to Internet/cable network

I bought a Dell Inspiron 660. It came with Windows 8, but I successfully installed Windows 7 Home Prime (32 bit) on the subject instead.

The computer came with a "Dell DW1506 (802.11 b/g/n) half mini-map WLAN" and what appears to be a built-in ethernet port.

However, it is supposed to be a desktop at home, and when I plug a CAT-5 cable to plug into our existing router (which has a Verizon DSL internet connection) it does not 'see' the internet/router/task force.

Y at - it something I am doing wrong? How can I get this computer to get 'on' the network wired and not on a wireless network?

I'm not completely tech-stupid, but I know that internet/cable networks are usually 'plug and play' and I'm puzzled why I can't get it to see the network/router.

    Thank you.

    Hi LakotaWolf,

The problem might be related to do not installed the drivers.

You can install the Ethernet driver for your system from the http://dell.to/18uMd9slink.

Try to connect to the internet by cable after updating the drivers.

I hope this helps. Please do not hesitate to answer for any further assistance.

  • Desktop icons missing when used without network domain

I have a mystery involving laptops who lose their icons on the desktop when the user opens a session.  The scenario is as follows: If the domain network that has essentially the 'copy offline' is NOT available at the time of the log, and if the user is connected to another network in the home or travel (regardless if LAN or wireless), they will not receive their desktop icons.  To date, we need to make sure that these users cut their 'Wireless' and make sure they unplug his ethernet cable before they log on to the computer.  By doing this, their desktop icons appear very well.  Once their desktop computer is done loading, we have them re - connect their ethernet non-domaine cable or turn on their "wireless".

I'll go a step far from adding the wireless switch must be in position 'ON' when a user opens a session, but as long as the laptop is not in the range of all configured previously wireless networks, it will load the icons very well.  It's almost as if whenever Windows 7 sees ANY network connection, it says: ' Hey, here's a network access, so it must be the network I need. "
And finally, if the user is connected to the domain via the ethernet cable network, BUT their without wireless is enabled and there is a connection to our router Comcast wireless, it still will not load the desktop icons.
    I don't know if it's a Windows 7 problem, a field/group policy issue or a setting of strategy/local on the laptop.

  • How to get a reservation in DHCP address when using NAT networking?

I am looking for a solution on how to make a reservation in DHCP for a VM for Linux Mint13 when using NAT networking.

It would make life so much easier if I could be sure that this machine has a fixed IP address, I might add in the host to host files and thus get name resolution working for her.

I use the virtual linux machine mainly to test a Web site before going live and I used the bridged network and listed my DLINK router DHCP reservation.

But it won't work if I move the laptop Win7 to another place, so I really need NAT and a fixed address.

I found this discussion, which deals with the same issue so I followed the solution and this added to the end of vmnetdhcp.conf:

    host agiwebdev {}

    Hardware ethernet 00: 0C: 29:72:09:58;

    fixed-address 192.168.80.10;

    }

(with comments, stop and WorkStation7 closed altogether).

But the result after starting it all this is still once the client always reports its address as 192.168.80.157, which is the old address it before my edit.

    What have I done wrong?

The guest of LinuxMint13 was created and is running in VMWare Workstation on a host Win7ProX64 7.1.6

    I'm really stupid...

It turns out that the answer was in the discussion I linked to:

Restart the service of Windows 7 VMWare DHCP service with disconnected guest network card, then plug it in and the new address is here!

    Simple as that!

So in fact already was answering the question I asked.

    Hello

I have a new laptop of HP 15-ac151dx. Right out of the box, I noticed that the company becomes exteremly slow when I unplug the charger.  As soon as I plug in the charger, the speed is very good.  It works fine on a wired connection with the charger plugged in or unplugged.

So far, I tried the following, and nothing worked:

    1. turn off the laptop, to reset the router, turn on laptop

    2. remove the checkmark beside: ALLOW the COMPUTER TO TURN THIS DEVICE OFF SAVE tab managemnt Realtek RTL8188EE wifi power adapter.  I also didi this on Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller.

  • Cable network office and scan between computers

My wife and I share a multifunction Canon MP270 printer on our cable network.  I can print my documents on the printer that is connected to his computer.  It is running Microsoft XP Home edition and I have Windows 7 Professional.  I can't get the function scan on the printer to scan documents to files on my computer or as attachments to email.  His computer knows that mine is set for printing, but not scanner.  I need help on the configuration of the network on these two computers for the functions to work.  I have a router that connects them to each other and to the internet.

This isn't a network issue but a scanner.

With the exception of the 'network' scanners that connect directly to a router, many scanners can be shared on a network.  I guess the thinking is to go in person to the scanner to scan the document, what good share?

Sometimes the software provided with the multifunction device will allow scanning over a network, but you must install the software on each machine.  I don't know if the Canon software does this (I don't think) or if it is still available in a version of Windows 7.

As far as I KNOW, there is no native method of Windows XP to share a scanner connected by USB, but there are apparently third-party applications that claim to do: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=xp+share+scanner+over+network

A work-around (even if it is a little annoying) is to set up a shared folder on the XP machine and run the scans it there. You can then access the Win 7 machine files and copy them or attach them to e-mail.

  • The computer hangs when you access network resources

I have this problem with a couple of computers at work.  Here's the question:

Computer does not display the network icon in the system tray.  When you try to access everything which concerns internet, nothing works.  IE Page not found errors, etc.  When I go to control panel > network connections, my computer freezes and I have to close the Task Manager Control Panel to continue.   My computer will also freeze/hang up when I try to use another application that requires an internet connection.

Not help not to restart normally.  The only way I could fix is by turning it off for a while, and turning back on later.  But even if it does not work 50% of the time.  Restarting over and over again does nothing; the computer still plays the same, no network icon / freezing when you access network resources.  Once he decides to however works, the computer has internet/network connectivity and no problems until what it is off again.

I tried all the drivers out there for my network card and reformatted 3 times is not a virus/spyware.  The I'm having a problem with the current computer is one day having no application other than Windows Update, Microsoft Office, Java, Flash and Adobe reader installed.  They are all Dell computers, some are of the Vostro desktops, while some are older of the Inspiron.  Questions computers are running Windows XP SP3.

    Any help would be appreciated!
